I'm 71 years old and haven't stick welded since high school. I did buy the arc captain 200 stick welder at Christmas but haven't tried it out yet. I do have 220 outlets in my building but the cables of the wiring are hidden in the walls and there was a problem with mice so the circuit breakers are off. Have to call my electrician to run a new line and put it in conduit for protection.

Nice info on these welders I like that you tell us how much you speed up the videos so we get a good idea of how fast/slow you are welding. I got a 110 turbo mig that does only flux core about 8 years ago but it never gets used the reviews were not very good for it. One main thing I don’t like is that the tip is always live so it sparks even when the trigger isn’t pushed in. If I ever get a new one it will be one like the one you have here

You may have to move some of those mowers and chainsaws etc. outside to work on them. LOL
Your new machines and skills definitely open a lot of new doors and options in the shop.
I'm happy for you because work should be fun and and not a challenging burden.
How about showing the tig side of some of these machines, although it will mean a trip down to the welding supply store for a bottle of 100% argon.
That's a very nice one stop shop type of welder. I had gotten something similar but a Lincoln 230 home hobby. Yours come with a mig the only thing mine didn't and at over 2k to buy needless to say I still don't. So great review anyone looking to get a machine this is definitely the way to go. Great job and great review on the welder. You did them justice, and if I hadn't had one already I would be buying one. 👍✌️🙃

I have a small welder for home and I use the Argon mix tank for all my MIG welding......haven't used the flux core wire but I have used the gas since i learned how to weld and just trust it so much more and like the look of the finished welds....mine is an ESAB 110v supply welder
Yes it's much better using the 75/25 gas mix

@Arccaptain-weld I bought the arccaptain tig 200 wouldn't power on and ARCCAPTAIN didn't lift a finger to solve the issue. I do not recommend them. Don't listen to a sponsored video.
I see they've upgrade to a main power line of 220 with a 120 adapter. It was the other way around on the previous models. Now they just need to upgrade to a quad roller system and standard measurement units and it would be golden.
nice looking machine for a small shop. The multi functions is a great thing.
You didn't mention what the duty cycle was though.
It would be good to see a video on the TIG funtion too if you get a chance to. TIG is an often over looked welding process that I could see many uses for in a small repair shop.

Don that is a nice welder and how much is the price on it again because I'm not a perfect welder by any means but I can stick weld pretty good and I can do some MIG welding and this seems like a good machine that would suit my needs for Riding lawn mower decks and frames and things of that nature

My 30 year old lincoln sp-170 t mig has stopped work so maybe looking for new mig. Only want it for home. What's the duty cycle and welding aluminum does it change to ac instead of dc power?
Rated Duty Cycle: 60%.
MIG200 is for DC welding, but you can also use a Spool Gun for welding aluminum.

Dammit Don ! Now, I wouldn't mind to own one but, with Trudeau's constantly cranking the cost of living, it's a hobby, that remains out of my reach.
