I assume its for people who likes everything in one place, being rich won't change their lazy nature (not that I know anyone rich who is like that tho)
I can see the practicality in some of these space saving designs. I'm sure if you live some place like New York or even Europe where there is a lack of space in homes, these would be incredibly useful. I can also see how this would be for those people who like to keep their clutter out of sight for a nice clean look in their home.
I've lived in a studio condo now for almost seven years and love it. If you have a small home don't fill it with crap. Choose your furniture wisely and sparingly. Everything should have at least one legitimate purpose. Two or more purposes are better. For example, the two end tables along side my couch provide a surface for a lamp, book and coaster. They also have two drawers each for useful storage. I have a little bistro table where I eat and it doubles as extra desk space when I need it. My entertainment center is made up of a long row of modular chests of drawers which provide a ton of storage. You don't have to spend a ton of money to live comfortably in a small space.
I love how most of the TV's they show on these shelves and whatnot have no wires what so ever. Bet they would looks as clean if you had a bunch of wires hanging all over the place.
Im calling bullshit on it, how the hell does the electrical work for the tv? I stand corrected below. Couldn't see the tube at the bottom, which then you can see the electric line below the bed when they lower it.
I like how all these "it's also a bed!" furniture combinations pretty much forbid any kind of "fun" to be had on said bed unless you don't mind breaking everything you have stored on the hidden shelves.
Then I guess people who buy these kinds of beds will have to take it nice and easy when they're having fun. It's kinda hasty that they seem to have put little thought into long term use. I know one or two of these beds will crack or start falling apart in a few years.
