So many negative comments on here, I personally love this series and the mods man! It’s one of a kind, regardless of the “practicality” of being that low static. Killer setup!

Hi Jamie - i got my Solo-Werks coil overs for my 2021 VW Tiguan SE R line Black edition model - front splitter and side skirts are going on next! many thanks to you!
Love the VLOG's can't wait to see the rest, even if I did follow real-time updates on IG throughout the journey! Also, thanks for the pins on the maps for my next trip out west (the mini moab and vegan donut place, it's tough to find vegan food when traveling!)
Looking forward to episode 3! I saw the atlas in Emilia's video. Won't give too much way for those who haven't seen it. The atlas looks and sounds amazing!
I have a cross sport atlas and I really love it! I'm a travel nurse going to different states and cities that have different terrain that your going through. I would stay my experience has been wonderful with this awesome SUV! I'm glad you are having an experience that I can reflect on and something that is hopefully memorable.

Are those the factory bars? I was gonna throw a smittybilt on ours but wasn’t sure since I couldn’t find any sturdier bars and Volkswagen didn’t have any confirmed static/dynamic numbers. Glad to see someone actually put it to the test though, we’ve went off-roading and camping around some mountains and it’s quite tough and rugged when it needs to be lol.
Yes, these are the Volkswagen Accessories bars. Static weight limit is around 25% higher than the weight of the tent IIRC. The part number is 3CM071151 and the retail price is $299.00 - they're available from your local VW dealership with no shipping charges, or from a variety of places online. Hope this helps :-)
VR6 sounds great :) As a german who knows these things from the past, I wish Volkswagen would modernize the VR6 atleast for the US- market. Even in the US the VR6 just isnt competitive anymore and needs updating. Also, I wouldnt say no if the Update would involve Audi 5- cylinders :)
Thanks :-) The 3.6 was a big jump from the 3.2 (which was an update from the 2.8 24 valve), with a lot of newer technology etc. This is the later version of the 3.6 also, which I hope isn't the last.
I love camping in my rooftop tent in the winter but I'm cheating by running a air hose from a Eberspacher (diesel air heater) in the car. I have a remote in the tent so I can turn in on whenever I want.
If you’re worried about carbon emissions, I ride my bicycle for short commutes, and I do somewhat believe that my food intake has a lower carbon emission that a ‘normal’ meat based diet. It’s a fun conversation and thinking point. :-)
What happens to the car after your adventures. Gets converted back to stock rideheight and the next owners scratch their heads on how a Crossover can have so many scraping marks under it :)
Hey man didn’t quite watch your whole vid but I just got a 2022 Atlas Cross Sport and I’m having trouble having the back seats fold flat/level with the cargo area. When I fold the back seats down there’s about a 2-3 inch dip from the cargo area to the folded down back seats. Is this normal or am I missing something? I’d like for the seats to fold down flat so I can set up a mat and sleep comfortably inside the vehicle. Thanks!
I’ve owned 3 cars that are around 2 inches off the ground and have certain shopping centers I can’t make it in. How do you travel 7,000+ miles in extreme weather.
Love your cross sport!! Question, who is delinte tires? I live in Seattle and can’t find much info?? After watching this, I want to swap out my summer 22” tires for these all seasons!
I have a newer tiguan with a hardtop RTT, why would you ever choose a Tepui bagged tent to drive such a long distance with all the aerodynamic hard top roof top tents out there, sir, i say you swap out asap, that thing kills aero and mpg.
You slept in frisco colorado, then you drove past copper mtn colorado and vail colorado. And you literally thought you were in utah haha. Cool video tho man. Ive got an atlas cs and i have wet dreams about it i love it so much
I wanted to travel alone on this one due to Covid - it was a way for me to get out on the open road, while still trying to be socially distant etc. I'm looking forwards to traveling with friends and other cars again in the future though! :-)

Which you seem to be just discovering for the first time by the choices you were making and vlogging about.
@@JamieOrr i thought it must of been stuff in there. As an owner of an Atlas, loved this video! Sounds amazing too, did you write anywhere what was done to exhaust? Mine sounds like a Swiss watch quiet
I like the look, but that's way to low for that vehicle. Slammed that low you should run an airbag kit. I would actually like to get a lowering kit for my 2021 Atlas, but that looks too low, I would at least like to be able to go over speed bumps.

The mid-resonator and the rear muffler were both removed. It’s a bit loud for daily use honestly, but does let the VR6 engine be heard properly

Why not put it on adjustable air-suspension, so you’re not destroying the bumper, and belly of a vehicle you’re wanting to "track?"
to showcase the performance of great suspension by KW & to put it to test

Hi , Jamie ! For How Much is it possible to find MK1 Golf running ?
It really depends on condition - rusty and crap is maybe $1,000 or less, but a nice car could be much more expensive.
