My jaw DROPPED when you said C for 21st Century Breakdown! I will never understand the hate this album gets, it is big, full of life, it takes you into a world. I would say AT LEAST a light A but this is easily an S tier for me
Excellent taste. You listed the exact songs on 21st Century that stand out to me most, and which I also think have aged the best. I used to like the album, but now it's really down to 21 Guns, Peacemaker, East Jesus Nowhere, 21st Century. I might put it in B, but otherwise entirely agree. Scattered is an underrated song from Nimrod, though
I really loved 21st Century Breakdown It is actually my favorite. Musically, it was very strong, all of the songs sound very different from eachother, My problem with older greenday like in the 90s as a 2000s era greenday fan is that all of the songs tend to sound very similar and are much less experimental. My favorites on the album are Viva La Gloria, The Static Age, 21st Century Breakdown, Christian's Inferno, East Jesus Nowhere.
Dawn I’m not sure if you’ve listened to them, put I think covering Ween in either a retrospective or tier list would be very interesting. They have a very diverse discography with lots of genre blending. Glad that you’ve been posting again, keep up the good work.
Fantastic list. I would personally switch Insomniac and Dookie...I love the darker tone of Insomniac and ot is just such a tight album. But I definitely can't blame you for putting Dookie on top. Besides that every other album is exactly where I'd put it.
I dont know why i dont like nimrod as much love the diversity and them growing as a band, i think nimrod a precussor for warning which i think is better

I noticed that some of these discography tier lists have also been bands you've done retrospectives for. Are you going to do more tier lists for bands/artists you haven't covered such as David Bowie, Black Dresses, Death Grips, King Crimson, QoTSA, Radiohead, etc.?
oh and i should mention that part of the point behind re-doing these retrospective bands as tier lists is that i personally don't care for those retrospective videos anymore myself lol so i am trying to make what i consider to be more watchable versions of them

I can get FOAMF being Green Day’s worst album, but I thought the singles “Pollyanna” and “Holy Toledo” were great!

I’m a cd collector, and even tho nimrod isn’t my favourite album, it’s my favourite green day album and that probabky the cd I’ve listened to the most
