This is one of those lightning in a bottle performances that will never get old. This is Green Day.
I remember this whole period when Green Day skyrocketed into fame, I was in elementary school but them and blink-182 were the best new music on the radio at the time.
Blink-182 was way too pop.

Blink 182 isn't on the same planet as Green Day
Blink 182 sucks donkey balls.
No sir green day was out way before blink. Blink grew up fans of green day!

I was 13. Those two days changed my life. NIN, Primus, Violent Femmes, Blind Melon, and Green Day were awesome, but Aphex Twin was the best act of the whole festival.
Being the security after 23:00 must’ve been like being in a tower defense game XD.

8:15 "I HATE GOD! IT'S SHIT!" - Mike smashes forehead against mic repeatedly.
Fantastic.
I was only 6 years old in the summer of 1994 but i do remember this album being released earlier in the year because my dad bought it along with in utero. We played it all the time. I wish i was a lil older in the mid 90's maybe like 15. But then that would me an old man lol. I guess 45 isn't old lol. Im just thankful for my dad for the musical influences. Classic rock, blues, metal, punk, etc etc.
imagine if mike dirnt had dyed his hair red before performing here, they wouldn't be green day they'd be RGB day
Or regreeblu day
I was literally just thinking to myself “they should call this band Green Hair Guy, Blue Hair Guy, Brown Hair Guy”
