Speaking of aliens: I do K12 online school because the school where I live sucks, but my mom still keeps up to date with the school's Facebook page. She showed me something in disbelief. Apparently, yesterday was 'alien day,' which people are supposed to dress like aliens or dress like a weird person from a foreign planet, and two white high school boys in our school district decided it would be so funny to dress in Mexican style clothes, basically mocking Mexicans. They went the entire day like that, without a single person or teacher calling them out and telling them that it's inappropriate. I'm just completely dumbfounded that girls get sent home for showing their shoulders or having ripped jeans, yet these two idiots can get by the entire day like this without anybody telling them to change or being punished. It's insane. I hate it here.

Yet, a few weeks ago I was followed into a public restroom where I was subject to an older man loitering outside the stall with intention to intimidate, as well as him physically looking under the stall at me. It is true that we are in danger constantly. It was just a normal day and this man was totally unprovoked yet he felt the need to publicly harass and intimidate me.
