The production as a whole has really stepped up a gear from the last 2 albums, musically it sounds a lot fuller, clearer and louder, and the video is hilarious! I loved it especially at the end with Sams mum, who is definitely a dying fetus fan

Remember after 9/11 how some completely unrelated, non-Al Qaeda loony started posting parcels of anthrax, and then there was a big moral outrage about the band Anthrax because of their name (even though they'd been around since Moses was a boy, and no one had complained before), and they said "fuck no we're not changing our name" (for precisely the reason mentioned in the previous parentheses) - and they're not even an extreme metal band. People lose their shit at the more "vulgar" bands.

I wore a dying fetus hoodie to the hospital the day my father died and i had to walk past the maternity ward. I had completely forgotten what i was wearing when i noticed all the disgusted looks i was getting and my brother dying laughing. It actually helped he and i deal with the seriousness of the moment.

Reminds me of a moment I had a few years ago. I was standing in the station, waiting for my train home. Just listening away to music. I could feel someone's eyes on me. You know that feeling? I turn round, and there's this dude, burning a hole right through me. I didn't notice this fact at first so I just smiled meekly and politely nodded, as you do. I check my phone, check the train time, look about for a bit and look back. The dude is still standing there, looking like his head is gonna pop. I then start to think "what's this guys fuckin problem?" Then I finally notice it. The all over print Elvis t-shirt he is wearing of his face. And then I remembered what t-shirt I was wearing. Polkadot Cadaver, with a caricature of a dead Elvis, on the toilet, gut hanging out, trousers at his ankles and mouth a gape. I quickly turned round, zipped up my hoodie and made my way further down the platform 😂

That was great, especially the Cradle of Filth shirt 😂 I had that shirt as a teen, caused quite the controversy at my high school, no one was allowed to wear band shirts anymore 😅
I love that the screen says "IT IS A BABY" making it seem as if there was legitimate abiding concerns among the parents and a significant number of people that the mother was going to give birth to an octopus or something.
Great thing is: I stumpled upon this video right into the whole 'Dreadful' record and can't stop headbanging, airpunching and smiling at the same time ever since. You're one of the few death metal bands whose lyrics I read while listening to the music just because they're so goddamn funny and well put (even though I don't think I get all the jokes as a non-native speaker). Delivering humour in metal without coming across as cringe or cliché is pretty hard, but you manage to do that absolutely fantastic. Would love to see you in Germany soon! :-)
