A tear in the fabric was so well written and had a lot of deep meaning and was an extremely interesting concept they executed to perfection and is some of their best work I think guided by the moon is the most underrated track off all their music
I can confirm, pretty accurate depiction, but only in the really wooded parts, the deeper into the woods you go, even if there are houses or neighborhoods; this is basically the mood, this or “blinding faith”.

So I think that's at least somewhat of what the first song is about. When you're lacking any sort of integrity, you'll "Craft[ing] your perfect world / Ignoring total truth / You'll die alone" and you'll live a life of fear and paranoia. At least that's how I interpreted it, idk.

You really can’t hear how rooted in hardcore punk they are? They absolutely are Hardcore AND Metalcore and the proof is in the song writing but it goes deeper than that. Genre fusion has been so crucial in heavy music for the past 10 years to keep it fresh but even think about nu-metal and how important it was for them to combine sounds. It’s just more obvious what they’re combining in that genre and others.
Once I discovered Chamber a few years ago I could never go back to Knocked Loose, they do this frantic sounding intense hardcore/metalcore way better, but Knocked Loose got more recognition and got especially big because of Tik Tok. They seem to be a lot of gen z kids intro into heavy music

Hard disagree. I don't consider the typical, overproduced, turn toward deathcore that bands often do an improvement. Pop Culture is fantastic, Laugh Tracks despite being half the same songs is still a marked improvement. A Tear From The Fabric of Life while interesting, I hate to say they lose themselves, their hardcore sound. At this point they might as well be Suicide Silence, Despised Icon, or whatever other Hot Topic band. Fwiw I'm 37 now, and every extreme metal genre I've followed that's gained notoriety has followed this same path (from early 2000's hardcore / metalcore to this beatdown shit today). Very, very few bands are capable of authentically developing a genre, much less genuine homage. Most become bland pastiche. :shrug: Just the way of the world we live in.

Loved the Flanagan/Aster/Saulnier cinematic nuances and destructive stark horror paired with their signature murderous chugs. Many homages to Hill House/Bly Manor as well as Midsommar and ofc, The Shining. Even a bit that was much like Johnny Booth’s Thief. Genius photography. Truly a league of their own and a great follow up to ATITFOL.

I am literally obsessed I don’t know how I went so long without knowing these guys but within the past few months knocked loose has quickly become one of my favorite bands. I just can’t get enough! The rage in Bryan’s voice is so angry and pissed off I just love it! He embodies every single emotion of being just absolutely fucking fed up with all the bullshit that you just wanna scream your fucking head off. This music reflects what I feel on the inside perfectly.

I am literally obsessed I don’t know how I went so long without knowing these guys but within the past few months knocked loose has quickly become one of my favorite bands. I just can’t get enough! The rage in Bryan’s voice is so angry and pissed off I just love it! He embodies every single emotion of being just absolutely fucking fed up with all the bullshit that you just wanna scream your fucking head off. This music reflects what I feel on the inside perfectly.
