Personally as a creator I find that the Apple ecosystem is simply too powerful for my creative and professional workflows but that doesn’t mean Android devices are bad.
Android based phone companies are often pushing out bleeding edge tech faster and some of it is really cool to see. Foldable phones are an example of this.
Wherever you prefer to be on this debate, I think it’s time for us to move PAST the angry and rude comments from BOTH sides of the argument and focus on the thing that matters: These devices are designed to enhance our lives, there is no right or wrong choice. 😂😳

I don't really understand this "seamlessness" thing. I use android, some Jabra headset, windows laptop and my apps (gdrive, evernote, spotify, messages, whatsapp, etc) are also working seamlessly between devices.

If I want to transfer a file I can use Google drive, if it's a photo I can use Bluetooth, or just plug my phone in my computer and it will automatically find the photos on my phone.
I can text people with Google messages on my computer, I can call people with my watch or directly from my earbuds. I don't understand what is the difference with apple ?

i used to be an android user, and am now an apple user, i have no negative comments on either device, they are both great and it doesn’t matter if the text bubbles are green or blue, it only matters if you need the phone, whichever budget you have, buy whichever phone you want, who’s stopping you.

Ehh, it's OK but it's not the best feature in North America continent. I feel like it would actually be useful if I moved to Europe, here in Canada around 50% of people have iphone and the other 50% have android I think.
Nearby share is SERIOUSLY overhyped. you have to GO INTO A MENU to show up, which DEFEATS the entire purpose, On iphone, just click their name on the senders phone, or, if they manually turned off airdpp, just put your phone on top of theirs and it will auto share it.

Android, because as a developer, I love the culture of open source software.
Apple provides great user experience, but I love the feeling of being completely in control of my devices, having complete customisation to fit my workflow and lifestyle.
For the same reason I ditched Windows a year ago, and since then living my happy life without spyware, planned obsolescence and other crappy corporate tricks

Yeah, i cant live without gnu/linux and an android phone, i accually used to use an iphone (as a challenge for a month) and i do have a hackintosh for fun, while the iphone did integrate with the hackintosh quite nicely i feel like these features arent rlly anything i'd use often and also i can achive most of tht with an android phone and some software, i also dont quite understand the war between ios and android, its comparing a steel pipe to an orange, doesnt make sense totally seprate devices

First the UI is super simple, yet clean & intuitive, and the cameras are amazing, they even filmed a mini movie with an iPhone 13 Pro Max, And the idea of Dynamic island is really cool and i hope they'll expand opon it in future versions

The UI is janky and looks messed up. The only thing good in an iphone is cameras and it's body(which by the way they haven't changed for 4 years, so points off for that too).

I prefer android because I can customise more and I have more options in settings and it also links with my google account. I chose flagship Samsung because the screen is the biggest.
apple due to me being able to jailbreak using palera1n for bleeding edge customization that android simply can’t offer, as well as the amazing ecosystem, and iOS.
Android because I've been using samsungs for the past several years, which means all my backed up data can only be transfered to samsung phones as well. I see no reason to switch, samsung phones do the job just fine.
I prefer apple because I never have to worry about what I am installing and I can always be efficient. In android I would say customisation is better though apples customisation is safer because multiple third party customisation apps that you have to use to make your phone better probs have malware

iPhone have a powerful CPU (Inferior to the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 but still very powerful), the pro versions offer 120hz which is really good. They put 8GB of RAM instead of 12/16GB because background playback is almost non-existent (this is why the battery lasts so long).
Then there are the 1000 problems with iOS, but all in all it's a good phone
I actually use both (because of work). Android gives me more options.
For me performance matters the most.
Then android is best because of the variety of phones you can get, some have really good performance

Been a Windows/Android user my whole life because I couldn't afford Apple products. During the past year I was lucky enough to finally get iPad pro and MacBook air! And holy, I love it so much that I can't wait until I'll be able to save up for an iPhone. I'll probably never go back to android, because iOS just works so well and has features that make life so much easier without me ever thinking I need that until I discover it. I feel like this is simply a very personal matter and what the person prefers, but to me apple is heaven. I simply love my iPad and MacBook combination, and can even use my iPad as a second screen, which I couldn't do on windows or android. Overall it caters to all my needs way better than androids, but I'll probably build a windows pc when I can just to have access to both MacOS and windows,even tho I don't feel like I need it much

Privately I use Android and never had an Iphone before I got a job with a company phone a few years ago. So I use both systems simultaniously and both have their advantages and disadvantages. In general both are good and both are doing the job I need them for. What I don't lie with them is: Once you use them for serveral years, you're basically stcked to the ecosystem no matter what brand.
Us android users can move our apps anywhere we can, download any apps we want, free or paid using apks.. we can emulate games at full refresh rate and no lag, we can emulate wii games, Nintendo switch games, 3ds games, every retro console from early 80’s to 2000’s
Plus our android phones don’t get slowed down every year by the company.. that’s apple 😂😂 imagine letting a company dictate how to use your phone

I have Apple but I started with android and I like Apple more, but I use google as my browser instead of safari (just never understood why people use that) and google maps instead of Apple Maps. Part of the reason I like Apple is when I lived in Japan we used MacBooks instead of Chromebooks and stuff. So I just got more used to Apple
