Rio and Scholes were absolutely world class.
Best of their generation.
Rio was overrated
Best touch Berbetov hands down!!!
The one guy who's first touch is impeccable and people don't mention, is Juan Mata. That guy's first touch is another level!
People forget how beautiful his football was at Chelsea
I’ll raise you David Silva
@@CharlesOHeneyep mata was a wish version of silva
@@neilrobinson88Absolute nonsense. Mata was just unlucky to play for an awful series of United sides and managers who NEVER played him at number 10 where he excelled at Chelseea, player of the season 2 seasons running in premier league.
@@AlanJohnPeach good player mata but Silva was the better version
I am glad Huddlestone was mentioned in this conversation. I always admired his touch, range and accuracy.
Do you know, I'm so glad someone mentioned Huddlestone. The guy's long range passes were something special
Scholsey❤
Tom Huddlestone was seriously underrated, his technique was faultless!
Not wrong! His goal against arsenal was one of the best I've ever seen
@@zac_e9 I’m a gooner and I remember that’s when I really rated him
Matt Le Tissier, cant believe no one mentioned him
Nob Solano had a ridiculous first touch.
Was a while ago but I think it was the game at home against Everton that Newcastle won 6-2…. Ball went about 200 feet up in the air and was dropping right under Nobby. He killed it like he was wearing velvet slippers. Lovely.
Another quality player talking about how Scholes is other level.
Bergkamp, Zidane, Berbatov
When I was younger and an Arsenal fan, one of my favorite players to watch on tottenham was Huddleston. I watched him everywhere I could and taped the games and watched him play. He was an amazing talent. Sad his career never really took off though.
Liar wtf arsenal fan don't make me laugh so you never saw D Bergkamp play for Arsenal ?
balotelli has an amazing first touch ive seen him control crazy passes with ease
lol
Hleb at arsenal had the best first touch ive seen. Ball was like glue.
Bergkamp has the best first touch in history and Zidane is the only one close
@@Footballazzin history?? Wow! Zidane on another level
@@jamesstrickley Zidane and Bergkamp are the goats of the first touch….but i have Bergkamp slightly above Zidane in this regard…even if Zidane is a better player overall
People don’t talk about Hleb enough.
@@Footballazzwhat 😂 there's plenty better than bergkamp first touch ffs
Defoe said big glutes about Modric. I mean I get it, but we’re just going to let that one go 😂😂😂😂
lol
Biggest muscle in your body is important...
Robbie Fowler had a great first touch
Ozell… on another planet
Berbatov!! He had a great first touch!! Another honorable mention would be Romelu Lakaka, lol!
I said it years ago that Rio has the best touch I have seen for a English player
would never try to speak of myself in their league. i played with a guy who would not look out of place on a rugby pitch. 6''3 / 6''4 about 16 stone and he played exactly like what they said about huddlestone. he would step onto a ball and it was like an arrow everytime he kicked the it. the ball made a different sound to any one else hitting it. that is just natural.
Surely Bergkamp or Zidane has to be No1?
Berbatov too
Bergkamp's technique was just insane. Not just his first touch either, but his shooting technique, passing technique, he was the most aesthetically pleasing player to watch.
Ronaldinho best 1st touch
Best everything 👌👏 Gaucho Ronaldinho
Yh Ronaldinho [and Maradona] is probably the closest thing we've seen to a cheat code in terms of first touch and control over a football. His first touch seems to come out of his natural rhythm; the ball obeys him as opposed to other players whose touch/control is born out of muscle memory and repetition.
Tom Huddlestone plays for United u21s these days. He's still amazing with the ball now
Huddlestone’s seriously underrated!
Just want to also comment about the editing, just way to many cuts between the two.
All you have to do is watch Bergkamp's goal vs Newcastle at St. James Park. Arguably the best first touch preceding a goal ever.
Mahrez the best 1st touch iv seen
Zidane, Ronaldinho, Messi, Berkamp, Berbatov
Adam Johnson had a good first touch
😅😂
Berbatov
Zidane , berbatov
Great players were named and I guess it's oriented to name kind of elite but more "normal" players, because Zico, Messi, Pele, Maradona and those type of fellas didn't even think about controlling a ball, with no concern of speed, space, body part, etc. plus the majority of times with already one or two plays in their head.
The managing of time and space of these off the charts players is beyond great and you have to combine these with off the charts control to pull out lots of their plays. More difficult even when entire matches sometimes are planned to frist try to nulify them and later see what we can do.
Bergkamp
Best touches is Denilson unfortunately he never have the end product. Ronaldinho came close second
Pirlo
Bobby Firmino has the best touch in professional football along with Dennis Bergkamp
Tom Huddlestone was ahead of his time. He's kind of like Rodri.
That's a reach
He's not like rodri. He actually would have a better long range pass than rodri but nowhere near the ability to take the ball in tight areas or the awareness of what's around him that rodri has
John Barnes touch was immaculate especially when he ended up centre midfield
Massively underwhelming for England.
@@KryptonitetoallBS lots of players were, negative tactics....Glenn Hoddle also was underwhelming
Another footballer picking scholes over gerrard. The list never ends
Best first touch? Dennis Bergkamp. Any day, every day.
Berkamp and Fowler
We live in a time where another man can comment on another's glutes and it doesn't even raise an eyebrow
Its berbatov! End of debate
Mahrez,kanu
Mahrez, best first touch.
Best first touch no question is berbatov
Happy Feet😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Bergkhamp
Berbatov
Mahrez
Marcelo
Pele had the best first touch, Kyle Lightbourne had the worst.
Mark Hughes , Denis Bergkamp, Clarence Seedorf, Zizou, Kanu
Bergkamp is #1…the rest don’t matter
No one mentioned Gary Speed his feet weren't even touching the ground while they were dangling in the air as he went for a jumping header and never came back down
He could levitate? Wow
The fact iniesta isnt mentioned shows how buried he was around so much talent...
Blow your nose, Troy
Anthony martial
Glen Hoodie in his prime was better than Scholes in his prime
Do you know of any great games of him for England I could watch
I loved watching Hoddle play. His anticipation of what he was going to do with the ball before it arrived was unique. But he was not the same kind of player as Scholes. Scholes was everywhere. His engine to keep getting on the ball and keep the ball moving and keep the opposition guessing destroyed teams. During the 2nd half of his career when he played a deeper play-maker role he became the most influential player in football.
Nobody even mentions messi. He has to be up there as well seen as he's the goat. Remember first touch isnt all about killing the ball dead. Its also about where you want the ball to go after that touch
Yeah that fella Messi is never mentioned by anyone is he?
@@user-dq6se6er8j I meant in this comment section
Defoe is such a clown
Bergkamp
Berbatov
