I love how honest he was about knowing someone at all his jobs and that’s why he got it. He has the obvious skills but knowing someone is a definite push
Brother is the literal embodiment of a mountain irl 🏔️
Really really glad I stumbled upon this channel, this type of salary transparency is exactly what workers need to get on an equal playing field for equal work
Hannah thank you for listening and making the video full screen!
Personal trainer. Sells cookies. Good plan to create clients.
This is a fascinating channel. So far, I really like the questions you are asking people. Exactly what i often wonder about.
I live in Loudoun county. tbh there arn't really a lot of rich people here, just consistent upperclass residents and very low poverty rates.
Having been in NYC and SF, I didn’t realized about this county until seeing your video. Good stuff! 😊
So, we've lived in Loudoun County -- Leesburg and Purcellville -- since 1975. I actually remember when the place you were filming at was a corn field belonging to Panorama Farms. It's been kind of a wild ride watching the county grow. Interesting factoid, Loudoun still has more miles of gravel road than any other county in Virginia, mostly west of U.S. 15.
Loudon County going out towards Leesburg then Harpers Ferry is still insanely gorgeous - like mind boggling gorgeous when you get out to WV
I live in Maryland but want to move to Lessburg eventually. Saving for it now though :)
@@user-lt1jd1ye3v There are a lot of beautiful roads in the Loudoun Valley. Two I would recommend are S.R. 690/611 from S.R. 9 at Hillsboro south to U.S. 50 and S.R. 734 (Snickersville Turnpike) from S.R. 7 at Bluemont southeast to U.S. 50 at Aldie. These two roads are paved and the scenery anytime in Apr - Oct and after a snowfall are amazing.
Hi lets chat ? I am in leesburg
It was nice to know you were in one loudoun plaza
Hannah!!!! Loving the landscape camera and also looks like you got a new camera too. The quality is excellent. Loving the longer format. Now zoom in on some mayonnaise!!! Your tats are hot too.
Lol I know the second girl you interviewed! Hi if you're seeing this, miss yall!
Dang missed y’all in my county! Was just at this shopping center today

Love it ❤❤❤
I run one of the most prestigious HR Firms in india and we are planning to start our operations in the US and Canada ... Your channel has been very informative ... I hope you make a lot of money for yourself .... If you can collect this data and add career counselling and guide people particularly young one to make right career choices
I was thinking about this channel the other day and wondering if they are keeping records of the locations/salaries/industries/titles. Eventually, that will become a valuable set of data! It would be awesome to be able to build a Salary Transparency Street website/visual novel of the places, wages, etc.
Thanks for the videos!
Working in septic for $15 an hour is a shitty job...
Love LoCo!! Been here for years!!
Hi lets chat ? I am in leesburg
Love to see it. I am a senior Contracts associate in government IT services living in Loudoun County. I make 103k with 5 years of experience. :)
$2100 rent? How is that one of the most expensive when rent in SF, LA, and OC is crazy high
That $2,100 is the cheapest most likely a studio or max 1 br apartment. There are significant differences in pockets. Also title should have been on median household income not cost of living
We are paying 1800 for 3bhk in wilkinsondrive leesburg so you wrong. And chat with me abit I am new here.
COS for DoD making $180k huh… I’m really interested to know which office in DoD. Salary is not even in the GS pay scale so it must be in another scale.
COS probably is in the SIS/executive pay scale, GS is normally the 'working level' scale. Plus some agencies offer bonuses/raises to salaries based on certs that aren't reflected in the GS scale.
GS15 step 6 and higher in WMA is >180K
Because the everyone knows gs don’t get paid you have to work with contractors. Those contractors gdit, caci,or saic to name a few
@@jmurphy644 This video was filmed last year though. So add 4.86% to that. If she is a GS15 she's above the cap ($183K currently). So she's either a topped out GS-15 and rounding her salary up for the video or she's SES.
I live in Loudoun Co….near Lucketts. I’m retired from the military; wife is senior federal govt employee.
How much do you make?
First Lady is beautiful and smart.
what is 'AdTech'?
"Richest county", huh? *sees McLaren casually parked in the background* "Ah, I see..."
Where is the McLaren? I can't find it
@@seanli9769 oh believe me, they're there. except theyre driven by the bratty kids of diplomats and rarely by people who worked hard for their own money. i mean i guess you cant blame them though right...

@@seanli9769 Yellow. About the 45 second mark behind the interviewer.
@@Kadillac76 Thank you! Literally 1s and her head blocked most of it. Good catch!
SSI pays me like 12 Grand a year plus hidden perks
One loudon babyy
Yep that’s home
$110k as a Portfolio Manager. Would be interested to know where because that’s low, even for someone with only 3 years experience
Prb just reported base? Likely 50-100% bonus in good years
It’s poop so… NEXT! 😅
hey i live here!
@salary_transparent_street message on what
$80k as a bartender?!
What's Salary transparent channel revenue ?
The host was on glamour I think and her salary was like 150k
loudon county is 20th in the nation by per capita income. out of 3243 counties.
You may be looking at the "average" in per capita income. Loudoun has the highest "median" income which is a better indicator of overall wealth. For a very simple example: if you have ten people and 9 make zero per year and one makes $1 million per year, the "average" income would be $100k per year which seems great but is not. However, if you have 10 people making $50k, $60k, $70k, etc your "median" income will be over $90k. So which one area is actually wealthier?
4:00 that’s a BIG man🥵
Nicccceeeeee
Richest County... most are gov employees it shouldn't be that way
Why not?
You would be surprised how much it is split between tech and govt.
Richest county in "median" income. Government and tech work is good middle class income so there's a high "median" income. It is not the richest in "average" income. Also, low pay for government employees creates corruption, just ask a New Orleans cop.
Septic it's poop 💩 lol
Wow! I don’t make barely nothing to these guys in this video! Black people struggle a lot, the cost living is ridiculous, that’s why people living Loudoun county!
They have to make that much to afford any housing there buddy.
People of all colors are given the same opportunities to succeed.
The reason you struggle is more about your belief that you will struggle based on a thing you can't change. I've hired many black people, and paid them more than most people in this video. What's their difference? It's not skin color, it's values of drive in learning and being a better value to an organization, and the people that organization provides services to. Thats it. That's the magic... just take what you'd consider "white privilege" and just do those things that those people do. They learn, they spend time searching technology on UA-cam for instance, not just music videos and funny memes. I've watched probably 3,000 hours of training material on this website alone. It has gotten me many jobs and several promotions. No college professor, just drive and actually caring about my career path. It's not magic.. I lied when I said that.
@@joejohnson4456 that is not remotely true at all. There is verifiable data showing how a black family who has an appraisal got a very low value and then a white family does it and gets almost double the valuation. The access to schools, medical care, food, all play a part in achieving success. There is verifiable proof that those opportunities are specifically lessened in black neighborhoods
@@theman44ful Where's the proof? Finding justification to substantiate a victim mentality narrative is not proof.
tech jobs are a joke. Its baffling how much money these people make
Instead of hating on them you might look inwards and wonder why you aren't working in an industry that's serious about compensating you for your talents eh?
the future is now, old man
@@BTrain-is8ch however they're living in one of the most expensive counties in the nation too so again they're making more than they really should be compared to everyone else..
@@masonhaggerty186 Money is not a zero sum game. Them making more does not imply that anyone else makes less.
It's not really possible for anyone to make "more than they should". Literally all of us make exactly what our bosses think it takes to keep us showing up. That's the economic definition of what someone should make.
The only valid comparison, and the one every HR department does annually, is between people of comparable skillsets and typically within a designated geographical area (legitimate candidates for hiring). What's going on with anyone else is irrelevant.
Why?
watch this video
understand and realize how useless and expensive the college is
Loudoun county is one of the most educated counties in the US also. So I don't track what you're saying?
Probably from all the overpaid government employees I bet.
Federal government pay is public information, just look up the GS scale (and the pay cannot exceed a certain level). Loudoun county has a lot of tech work also which pays well. If you underpay government workers you do invite corruption like in Louisiana.
