- Gene Kelly performs a few songs in Steve Lawrence & Eydie’s Gormé “Our Love is Here to Stay” (1975) celebrating George Gershwin. He also visits Paris with the his children, Tim & Bridget, alongside Steve & Eydie and their two sons.
So sad that Gene's wife Jeanne passed away so young at 50. He was left to raise a son of eleven and a nine year old daughter.
He did a great job as his kids turned out just fine.
Lovely programme. On 1975 Gene looked very young for 63. What very handsome man with a beautiful smile. Love and miss you Gene. 🌹🌹🌹
The footage of Gene with his kids is just delightful, this was only 2 years after their mother died and they look so happy. The way Bridget looks at him during their number is heart-melting. Honestly every new thing I see of Gene just makes me love him more & more, bless this dear man ❤⚘🌟
babba ruff Yes they do look very happy and well adjusted. It’s really a great testament to Gene as a father! 🥰
fascinating EUGene Kelly!
The song with Gene's daughter is just so precious. Love him so much. 🤍
I loved Steve and Edyie. I didnt know they were such good friends of Gene Kelly.
He stated that he didn’t care if homosexuals were homosexual but he stated that if your a man the dance should be masculine not effeminate. I love how he dances.
Really would like to have seen more scenes with his kids. Love Gene Kelly.
Gene truly loved Paris he did American In Paris with a salute to George Gershwin & would have made it in Paris, but the Studio fought that so he did a beautiful movie on the back streets of MGM, Gene should have won an Academy Award for that movie!
Amo i film con Gene Kelly lui e'una stella straordinaria del tip tap che trasmette gioia e voglia di vivere cosi' leggero sorridente e magico ciao un abbraccio❤️👍
In 2020 only Steve Lawerence is still alive

You know what, I really like this song Gene, you're marvelous. I am with you always and always! I cannot say anything more. HAHA! 😊Hi, I’m Brittney Hill :D . I really enjoyed your upload! I’m moving to London, where the United Kingdom is! I am currently living in Orange County, where Disneyland (YES!) is, Yay, me! My whole life, I’ve always had to do everything by myself, literally, so that’s why I’m super proud that I figured out where I am supposed to live . I am Middle Class right now, and single. My Destiny is actually to marry a few gentlemen, my story is unique. Those Men are, Tom Ellis (he is a London actor on a hit-show in America called, Lucifer), Hugh Bonneville (he is on the hit show, Downton Abbey), and Jim Carter (he is on the hit show, Downton Abbey), Louis Garrel (he is a super famous, French actor, in the movie, Dreamers), Henry Cavill (he is the hot, London Prep, who plays Superman. He is Superman), and Johnathan Rhys Meyers (he is the star of the show,The Tudors. He plays, King Henry. It’s really cool because he was King Henry, in his past life), Jacob Merrill (he is my High School crush

@@claudebahout4559 yours was an understatement, maybe coo coo !
I thought this going to be about his three kids!
Sorry. I picked Gene’s segments out from Steve & Edie’s special “Our Love is Here to Stay.” It included his two youngest that he was raising by himself at that time. He likely chose this project because it allowed him to bring them along. This is the only one I’ve seen his son on, but Bridget did appear on at least one other show with him.
Kerry was grown by that time and starting her own family.
Other than Kerry, who became a child psychoanalyst and author, the other two seem to have shunned the spotlight for the most part.
I think some of their "silence" might be due to non disclosure that they signed at the time of Kelly's death with his widow who retains control over Kelly's image and work. Things got ugly at the very end unfortunately. Betsy Blair's memoir "The Memory of all That" explains the ugly situation a bit, although her memoir primarily focuses on Hollywood in the 1940s and 50s, and her own career with Marty, the Snake Pit and several European films. Great book!

I don’t see my favorite member of Gene’s family but I don’t think he was born yet.
Grandson?
