Nothing like putting nuclear waste all over your spawn point, meaning that permadeath is on because the moment you spawn you die to radiation. And the schemes he tests to get rid of the waste.
System stress testing is a legitimate profession, and even if you don't wanna be a UA-camr, you can still do this sort of thing and earn a paycheck. That's basically what Josh is doing. Every video he does is a brief 'how to' guide for stress testing.
@@ItsBitz They did. The Devs asked him for his save-file with the conveyor tornado, so they could use it to optimize the game. His save-file is the main reason performance got so much better in the following updates.
@@The_Keeper Oh definitely. It is his work of tormenting the system in the game and pushing it until it is screaming that helps the devs optimize the game. It is like instead of going into the code and seeing what needs to be optimized, he does it in the most hardcore way.
Fun fact: If anyone mentions to Josh that Satisfactory cars don't de-spawn after they fall into the pit but instead gets place at the center of the map like a pile. It would likely be the end of his PC at that point as we all know he will no doubt want to test it out to find the limit.

When Josh was releasing T-shirts I was really hoping he'd work together with coffee stain studios to make a shirt with like ficit style font saying "might I suggest the face ripper 9000?" and then have the shirt just coated in tube entrances and exits.
I like how Josh has become such an awe-inspiring agent of chaos among the Let's Play community, that reaction videos to his handywork are becoming a sort of rite of passage among Let's Play youtubers.
Josh is cracked. The level of dedication and sheer vision he has for the insane builds he does in his videos is nothing short of amazing. They almost transcend gaming into some kind of modern art piece.
Worth keeping in mind, he was playing this pretty early on, and the game grew more used to his shenanigans more and more. As such, he just kept pushing the limits. This was the first FPS breaking monstrosity of many.
9:20 that is HILARIOUS!!! The community always joked that LGIO was just an unofficial QA tester for every game he plays, but it's super cool that they actually took all the weird stuff he did and used it to improve the game!!!
The devs do you work with let’s game it out most of the time giving him early access to stuff literally he does a lot of the stuff to test the game out for the developers but if you haven’t heard already since this was one year ago, already talked about it to people
I find It realy cool that the defs actually used josh´s save. More devs should watch and use his vides, they are better then any kind of Beta testing as no Beta tester ever has the stupid amount of determination to push things as far as Josh does. Dude puts soooo much time in his Builds, it´s insane.

I stumbled across Josh's channel a couple of years ago, mainly because his satisfactory videos were just so entertaining. When you think about the amount of time he takes to do these completely outrageous builds and finding new ways to break the game, its no wonder he's only able to produce about 1-2 videos a month.

There are two types of dev reactions to Josh's shenanigans... The Satisfactory Route, and the Hydroneer Route. Because Josh singlehandedly pushed the games so far in terms of performance, that one decided to go through his data and improve their game and the other has a substantial bounty in game for Let's Game It Out.

Hey, actually I did find that cliff spot when I was searching for coal. It was that same coal spot too. Though instead of falling down it, I built a bridge across for me and my tractor. (Tip: the tractor was nicknamed "Sugarcube" by the satisfactory community.)
Don't feel alone with the "avoid all clip in" thing. I can only allow it if I'm sinking a storage and it's temp or if it's just clipped through the box but not the machine. If it's going through something it doesn't matter if it's allowed, it will annoy the crap out of me lol.
One thing I allowed myself, was where I had a belt that I wanted to run straight over to a factory, there was a solid wall of rock in the way, so I built foundation partially clipped into the terrain, surrounded with wills on all sides, with the conveyor wall on the appropriate side, and the same on the opposite side of the rock, connected by a belt. Made it look like a little infrastructure project, where I'd tunneled through the rock. Didn't have to divert the belt, and only took me 10x as long as just going around lol.
I figured everyone and their mother who played Satisfactory would have already seen Josh's other videos. But I stand corrected! An expert player no less!
You weren't kidding about Josh having patience. Most of his videos require a gazillion hours of game play, because he likes to play in such a unique way. Also, he's not afraid to grind hours and hours just to make something ridiculous that will be shown on screen for a few seconds.

Ah I remember my first factory, started in the desert, only coal I saw was up a waterfall, and instead of doing the smart thing and looking for a way up I just built a conveyer staircase all the way up, good times~ xD

Considering what you said about dropping a car in the void, and what he did in one video making the car equivalent of a kid's ball pit, that explains why the game suffers so extensively if you try to drive all your radioactive waste off the map. I also wouldn't be surprised if he's using a cheat for item supply. I mean, that, or he has the ultimate patience in the entire world. When you see how little he builds to produce stuff like plate, it's amazing he has the resources to create all that insanity.

I learned to play Satisfactory from Josh. So yeah conveyor bridges work miracles. Oh, yes that void claimed me as well, except the hostile critters knocked me in.
Josh knows how to do it right, because clearly it eventually does get to what he wants it to make, however. That's also why he can do it the exact wrong way.
“Lets game it out” knows exactly how to play every game in such a perfectly chaotic way that’s its so ducking hilarious. Whenever I’m sad or pissed off, I start watching him or one of my friends shows me one of his videos (cuz they caught on that I find him hilarious) and boom. I’m rolling on the floor laughing
I know LGIO seems a bit goofy, but he honest-to-god does good work to see where and how far a game will break when pushed; also he's very entertaining. His work on this game got me interested in the game, and then when I looked up ImKibitz's work, I bought the game and I've got liek 2500 hours in the game and the only reason I don't have 3500 by now is that my build got so big my computer can't load it anymore.

One of things that makes me love Satisfactory is that the conveyor belt tornado is no less efficient than just plugging A into B once the tornado finally saturates. I just hope you never need bigger belts.

One thing I allowed myself, was where I had a belt that I wanted to run straight over to a factory, there was a solid wall of rock in the way, so I built foundation partially clipped into the terrain, surrounded with wills on all sides, with the conveyor wall on the appropriate side, and the same on the opposite side of the rock, connected by a belt. Made it look like a little infrastructure project, where I'd tunneled through the rock.
Didn't have to divert the belt, and only took me 10x as long as just going around lol.

Josh's dedication is...frightening.
You weren't kidding about Josh having patience. Most of his videos require a gazillion hours of game play, because he likes to play in such a unique way. Also, he's not afraid to grind hours and hours just to make something ridiculous that will be shown on screen for a few seconds.

Ah I remember my first factory, started in the desert, only coal I saw was up a waterfall, and instead of doing the smart thing and looking for a way up I just built a conveyer staircase all the way up, good times~ xD

Considering what you said about dropping a car in the void, and what he did in one video making the car equivalent of a kid's ball pit, that explains why the game suffers so extensively if you try to drive all your radioactive waste off the map.
I also wouldn't be surprised if he's using a cheat for item supply. I mean, that, or he has the ultimate patience in the entire world. When you see how little he builds to produce stuff like plate, it's amazing he has the resources to create all that insanity.
You definitely need to watch this entire series. Also if you want the fly on a wall experience... he streams making these videos.

I know LGIO seems a bit goofy, but he honest-to-god does good work to see where and how far a game will break when pushed; also he's very entertaining. His work on this game got me interested in the game, and then when I looked up ImKibitz's work, I bought the game and I've got liek 2500 hours in the game and the only reason I don't have 3500 by now is that my build got so big my computer can't load it anymore.

One of things that makes me love Satisfactory is that the conveyor belt tornado is no less efficient than just plugging A into B once the tornado finally saturates. I just hope you never need bigger belts.
