I worked at a movie theater back in 2000 and there were a couple of big Megadeth fans working there that I befriended. One day I wore my Megadeth shirt from the Risk tour and the guys were like "I thought you were a Metallica guy?" and I laughed and was like "You know you can like both, right?"

I was born in 72 & I got my first introduction into 70's rock which I moved my interest into more heavy & dark forms of music like sabbath then into the brutal & extreme like slayer, Metallica & so on. Today I still play it but into more of technical metal/death metal such as "Animals as leaders" & "Jinjer" to name a couple, that is a pure love for me & will until I pass on!!
Same here we did a couple of small parties but we didn't have the guts to do more than that. I didn't have the guts to sing, we just play for fun more than anything, these guys are good and that took guts!

Dude - from what I can hear this is pretty tight. The drummer and everything is tight. I could only wish to have been able to play this song in high school let alone sing with the complex rhythm guitar line. WOW! Pretty great! I was into metal in my hischool also and I also had a band but at that point I was mostly just learning the basics, I was learning lead guitar licks and was the lead guitar in some sort of a punk, thrash, hardcore hybrid band. Now I did get technical later in early 2000s and I had a legit thrash band that got signed to a label, but that's another story. What I wanted to say is that this is AWESOME!

Well done! Back in the 80’s I was playing in bars at the age of 12. I Missed out on playing in a high school band. If I could go back I would have played with kids around my age instead of guys in their 20’s.

Great performance. My theory is the bass player is the best one at the school and he's not a metalhead. He's there to play a classical number later. The metal trio had been practicing for this night for weeks but couldn't come up with a bass player. The night before they decided to present the gentleman with the bass tabs to Holy Wars and begged him if it was possible. The bassist scoffed and said "I'll see you on stage".

Great performance. My theory is the bass player is the best one at the school and he's not a metalhead. He's there to play a classical number later. The metal trio had been practicing for this night for weeks but couldn't come up with a bass player. The night before they decided to present the gentleman with the bass tabs to Holy Wars and begged him if it was possible. The bassist scoffed and said "I'll see you on stage".
