Hey chippy. I haven’t you haven’t already, you can craft from nearby chests. So if you take a double chest and place a crafting station in on every side of it including the corners, that’s a great way to easily craft
Once you get more scarlet and tin, you can set up great boulder mining rigs with up to 8 drills per boulder using the conveyer belts and the mechanical arm from the automation table, so that the ore gets smelted automatically :)
I've been super in love with the art style and exploration of this game, it really feels similar to my first days playing terraria. Core keeper is such a gorgeous game and always seems to have more surprises in store. I'd absolutely love to see more Core Keeper from chippy from time to time!
I made the biggest mistake that I always make in these kinds of games (Terraria, Minecraft, Necesse, etc.) where I lock-in on grinding and exploring that by the time I get to the bosses, they feel too easy. I’ll have to do another play through.
Try it on hard mode and hardcore character if hard mode is not enough for you, been having a blast with hard content, even fully gear and boss can still 2 shot you, make it that much more tense
Ofc, I've played through the game with a standard character first before doing hardcore characters, you not gonna make it very far if you immediately go in with hardcore.
exactly what i did lol, i think this game should've balanced the progression locking a bit better though tbf. Like after the wall, you can pretty much go straight up to solarite without doing any other bosses. Kinda feels like the early hardmode ore progression of terraria. I didn't end up fighting azeos until i had solarite i think (partially because of those god damn feathers taking literal hours to get), and i was sad he was so easy even on hardmode because his attack patterns were pretty sick and fun to dodge. Definitely gonna have to do proper progression on a future playthrough, but its annoying that i have to handicap myself because the game allowed you to progress way too far by default
Doing my first playthrough now lol. Just chilling with azeos wilderness atm but i feel like i could go straight galaxite or better without beating bosses if i let similar feelings went through 😂
Literally me. I’m got thousands of most ores, a couple hundred of the high end ores, and only beat 3 bosses. My skills are all really high. A couple maxed, a couple close. Haven’t fished once.
Heya Chippy! At 4:09 that is where you can get the weapon component, which you need to find 3 broken Cores scattered in the Sunken Sea. Each core has its components as well and you need to collect them all in order to get the Legendary Bow
@@ChippyGaming You can use conveyor belts to move items and the robot arms (from the drill crafting station) to pick up items on the ground and place them into other things (smelters!). You can combine all of these to make a little ore mining factory on each node if you want as well. ;)
I think you've realized at this point but progression is intended to go ivy - azeos - morpha - omoroth (the next titan) but I do recommend for the desert area you fight the slime boss there AFTER the titan. the lava area is very dangerous. I definitely did something similar in my first playthrough where I got a bit ahead in gear by going to the next biome in progression before killing the bosses but tbh for a first playthrough being able to do that really eases you into the game! By no means do you have to listen to what I say, it might even be more fun that way.
Probably a little late to tell you before you went and organized your items. Don't throw away any gear that you have, if you need to make a storage for them cause thanks to the upgrade station, no gear you have is truly outdated, you might have a favorite stat or build you like to have and only that specific gear has it, just upgrade it and you still can. Also you probably should start marking your map, I usually use the gemstone marker for boulders, ? for areas I not sure about, flag for those that I do but don't have what i need yet, skull for boss area (this is probably most important as it sucks to want to refight the boss but you didn't mark it and may not remember where it is).
I suggest trying out shields. You can parry enemy attacks by blocking right before you're hit, making you take no damage or durability loss (besides -1 durability on the shield itself). It's borderline overpowered.
I found a freaking go-kart track on the first day i was playing.... driving that around after mining long corridors saved so much time early on. I still carry it but i have rail systems setup that go straight out from my base in all the cardinal directions. I've only beat the first 3 bosses and some hidden slimes i found so far. I have only got scarlet ore and below automated and fully conveyor belted back to my base. So much fun
Pro tip: When you fight azeos the sky titan you can slow down its heal via poison debuff if you're having trouble keeping up with shattering crystal. Which can be an issue on hardcore mode
What I usually do with boulders is set up 8 drills, build a ring of conveyors around it, then have mechanical arms deposit the ore into the proper tier furnace, then out of the furnace into the chest, all powered with one generator. Rotating the items is done with R, I think.
What did you to to chippys couch you monster still waiting for next episode 😂 jk I’ll deal with chippy gaming content for now keep up the amazing work chippy❤
@@ChippyGaming Not a bad idea. The reason why I suggested longer vids is because we did not see your process for getting through to the stage in the game you are in now. Won't stop me from watching the compilation video though. ☺
Chippy please don't stop uploading videos of this estimated length! Also this upload rate is fine for me, since you can put in the time and effort and that just makes your videos worth to watch completely even more :^P
Finding u after years of not seeing u, amazing to still see u play terraria and now core keeper, just finished the full game ( core keeper ) and now back on terraria 🌴🌳 have fun in the core 🪄⚔️
Just finished the game . Was playing even in early acsess but now the 1.0 is out i felt like finishing it . Hard mode all bosses full story had the same feeling like in Terraria its great . Crafted the Legendary equipments only a few collectibable and steam achievements left from the main stuff + the seasons and small things i didnt seen yet . Note : you can force season events in settings gameplay options they are cool .
love core keeper at ties. other times, I get annoyed at how much resources I need to farm to recraft boss summon items. I want all the loot and its annoying. I love the bosses that I can just buy the summon item :D
I love this game but it has a lot of problems (played only on hard) -Melee builds are too punishing -You can skip 3-4 biome tiers with bombs and craft op gear -Sea combat is a mess and both bosses are too hard for the time you face them -Urschleim is annoying as much as Wall of Flesh is in terraria -Portal charge times -Gardening planting Mods are actually pretty cool as i imagined and there are ones that can fix last 2 problems.
Nice to see another active series on the channel given that Terraria is still in a more "resting" state. Also I like the combination of live-footage paired with voice-over compiled segments.
I've been playing this with a friend and we somehow got pandorium and overpowered gear before fighting any of the bosses past the great wall (this is before we even bothered to check the wiki). Now we have automated every ore and we're starting on the bosses.
I'm loving core keeper right now, be sure to subscribe so you don't miss future CK videos!

Oh you also can drill significantly faster using 8 drills on an ore
Woo love this so Much Fan Girls hard 4 Chippy
Something to keep us busy until the next terraria update.
Red hatt
4:41 chippy just walking past the free fishing rod just sitting there😭
4:33 “I've arrived probably a little bit early”
Is roughly 2.5 biomes of progression early, or in other words, very early.
Once you get more scarlet and tin, you can set up great boulder mining rigs with up to 8 drills per boulder using the conveyer belts and the mechanical arm from the automation table, so that the ore gets smelted automatically :)
Some thief looking enemy trying to kill Chippy,
Chippy: this archway looks cool.
But have you kept the core

You can use more than one drill to increase the rate you get ores! Up to 8 drills can be deployed per boulder.
ohhhh that’s cool

Just the thumbnails and titles convinced me to buy and play this game. I cant wait to finish the game so I can watch your series!
I'm so glad chippy didn't have to experience the Slippery effect pre-nerf

Being a Core keeper veteran (I think ? I have 270h) and watching you discover the game and make theory is so fun !

can't wait for chippy to go a little further out than he should...
no spoilers haha
@@ChippyGaming Not telling! I only discovered what's out there recently.
Another tip chippy is that a chest or Chests that are in the i block radius around the crafting station or something similar will pull from the chests
I love this in my subscription box as I do my 1.0 playthrough.
You can actually use up to 8 drills per boulder to speed it up by you guessed it, 8 times, which I highly recommend doing for all of them
Chippy you should look into fighting Malagaz again. He drops a really cool dash item
when u interact with a core it gives u hints what u should do next like what boss and in wich biome
Did you ever find a structure with a lot of musical instruments? If so I built that and it was put in the game!
I haven’t found it yet, but I’ll keep an eye out!
@@ChippyGaming 🙌🥳
I can’t wait for mac compatibility! 😁
someone's probably already said this but, bosses can be refought for more big chests!
The best item in the game is a teleport compass thing dropped by malugaz at like a 20% chance. well worth getting it.
Love your CK vids! Any chance we can see a complete playthrough? if not, longer episodes would help. looking forward to the next episode!
I’m gonna mash all these together into one video at the end I think

these videos make the game look crazy fun
This game is so good, glad you found it!🎉
Love your content keep up the great work
Made more progress in this video than I have in 4 days lmao
Oh that looks cool ill check it out
I haven't used any healing potions or food buffs yet. I think it's a lot more fun to dance around and not die
finally chippy playing my favorite game

It would be rlly cool if this game started having new mods made for it
You're my best friend, Chippy
I always look for the sycthe and fight Ivy before Azeos so I can use poison to nerf it's healing.
i wish i could record all of my gamplay on my xbox and show what i have learned ughhh... i love this game :)
If you fight Azeo's again theres a decent chance to get an upgraded dash feather
love core keeper at ties. other times, I get annoyed at how much resources I need to farm to recraft boss summon items. I want all the loot and its annoying. I love the bosses that I can just buy the summon item :D
each skill have difrend effect, like fishing kinda funny because it give dodge chage, slipery like a fish lol
You can talk to the core for progression tips
The creature in the wa'er is the Atlantean Worm.
I noticed you were still watering by hand. Take a closer look at your automation bench. I suffered the same mistake :) You're welcome.
This game looks kinda good actually i know terraria collab'd with it but i just didn't gaf. And it's multiplayer? Might get it
Galaxite Chakram is OP
if you reforge your items it increases their stats
it tells you the name of the biome you're in at the top right in the map
hey james are you gonna do a playtough similar to this when 1.4.5 is dropping? I would love to see it
hey chippygaming, are you playing on classic/normal difficulty or hard difficulty?
I love this game but it has a lot of problems (played only on hard)
-Melee builds are too punishing
-You can skip 3-4 biome tiers with bombs and craft op gear
-Sea combat is a mess and both bosses are too hard for the time you face them
-Urschleim is annoying as much as Wall of Flesh is in terraria
-Portal charge times
-Gardening planting
Mods are actually pretty cool as i imagined and there are ones that can fix last 2 problems.
you can actually mine and pick up the waypoints with a drill rather than spend your resources on a portal
just wann ask if anyone know what mod chippy is using? like with items in chest and still can craft in benches.
The fact that the stardew valley guy and the terraira people made a game together blows my mind, its got the best of both games in one
Bruh when will it go on sale 😩
I might straight up buy the game for 20 dollars (not including tax)
I think the titans are really fun but Azeos is too easy and all the hydras are too easy also
YEAHHHHHH
Fight some boss more than once better items
Who up keeping they core?
ill play this on mute in another tab because i dont want this game spoiled for me haha
Swords are bad, daggers and axe are better
FIRST TO SAY FIRST
your videos are great man, I honestly cant wait to see the next one. These are REALLY making me consider getting the game myself...
