One tip, instead of using the shovel to pick surfaces and floor from the ground, the Hoe for farming is actually great to take with you everywhere. You can use it to dig Xs, take enemy spawners, remove surfaces like slime and acid and use it to remove floor tiles, wires and logic tiles. The only thing the shovel does that the hoe doesn't is remove ground blocks to create holes or rivers.
@@dacrystalcreeper7300 They used to also be useful to get ground blocks on the biomes for planting on your farm, like getting beach ground to plant beach seeds, but now that walls and floors are the same thing, they aren't needed for that anymore.
2 SMALL tips for you chippy 5:26 make a dresser and put the crown in there, that's the vanity slot. When you get glowing items I believe they will still glow as well (good for fashion) Lastly, all bosses (unless changed in 1.0) have a set difficulty. Also, a blind first playthrough is the best save all hidden lore hidden gear for the second run, blind runs are more fun bc it's your official run. Not a hold my hand run.
... WAIT... your saying the GLOW level on glam items, lets you see better? So I can just equip a stat set, and then vanity a +glow set over it, and I'll be able to see better AND have stats?
@ICountFrom0 i haven't played since "100%" the alpha a few months ago but the +glow of a vanity item shouldn't have been added to your stat glow (iirc) only that some gear had colored glow and would affect that IE a glow blue chest piece of +2 with a set of +5 means the first 2 or your 5 had a blue glow Now I could be misremembering bc it's been like 4-5months since I played but I'll check when I'm home after work

A tip for you Chippy: As time consuming and Tedious as it may be, Farming and Fishing are incredibly useful due to every ingredient giving you different buffs when made into a dish, and these buffs can become very strong, especially when you go all the way down the farming talent tree and start being able to grow golden plants. It's also very fun to realize just how many different dishes there are in the game because every different set of ingredients is it's own dish. Definitely a challenge to get them all, though not really worth it😅
You should get an iron hoe! It's not only useful for farming, but also for harvesting mass amounts of slime tiles or acid, foraging, digging up X markers - with each tier increasing its range of clearing. Iron hoe starts at 5x5 tiles, I believe.

In your crafting area you should put your chest in the middle and surround it with crafting stations that are applicable, as long as they are within a block (even at the edges) they use what's in the chest. I have one for cooking, one for main crafting, etc Get used to using railroad tracks and conveyor belts.
