Wow. You need to listen to this song that he sings with the Melbourne Symphony orchestra. If you loved this version. You will love that version even more. Love your reaction Love from Australia. Sending love and good vibes to John and his family 💕💕
Can I suggest you listen to songs he performs with his band and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. The version of Help, His song 'You'rre the Voice', 'Playing to Win' and 'Long Way to the Top. We love our John. With all our hearts.
This song was originally sung by the Beatles and written by John Lennon. John Farnham released this version in 1980. Like others have said the version with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is also amazing and performed in front of 15,000 fans. John Farnham is a national treasure 🇦🇺❤️
John farnham is one of the best male singers of all time on this planet. Hope he gets well again soon and back on stage where he belongs. He should have been more notised world wide. He was still an amazing singer and performer at the age of 70yo.
Definitely watch John with the Melbourne symphony orchestra. He is the best live entertainer the world has ever seen and he is very very funny. Much loved in Australia. A really humble kind man also.
Two very swoon worthy songs of his are Burn For You and Touch of Paradise. Then there is Gethsemane, from the last night of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1992. His version is the first time the pain, despair and resignation that Jesus experienced was expressed so perfectly. John's vocals are flawless and the emotion is gut wrenching.
PLEASE check out his WHISPERING JACK album he has many many awesome songs on that album freedom, when the war is over, burn for you, the voice touch of paradise the list goes on... he is our treasure here in Australia and how he never was just as big in the USA and overseas absolutely amazes me. Another couple of singers to listen to are Tina Arena, and Jimmy Barnes both awesome also.
His far better performance of this is with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra ua-cam.com/video/dv54giOSRKs/v-deo.html and another one is "You're the Voice "at the same concert ua-cam.com/video/6m2m_9Uijso/v-deo.html I know you will love them
I appreciate all reactions to John Farnham. I am grateful for all of them. There is no wrong version. Some people just don't know grateful. It's like you washed up but the other person says that's good but you didn't do it very well. So next time you don't wash up. You mow the lawn but somebody says yeah but you should have mowed it shorter. What is wrong with people? Don't we appreciate anything anymore. Don't we say thank you anymore. Or is it now thank you but.....
@@DaveWhoa I'm over that one. I want diversity. I want to hear them all. There are many roads to Rome. You know countries that only allow one version? Russia and China.
Farnsey in any form is superb! I do love the MSO one but this still showcases the man and his amazing skills! Same barber, different haircut! He still nails it! Get well Farnsey!💕
Check out the one of this with "Melbourne symphony orchestra" it's much better than this one... Don't get me wrong I love this one too but I adore the other one better xx

A lot is made of another video with the Symphony Orchestra, but I really enjoyed this simpler, less theatrical version. Thank you for showing it.

Your reaction was the same as many other reviewers. Emotional responses, enjoyed the slow heartbeat tempo, the plea for Help

You listen to the wrong version, Help live with the Melbourne symphony orchestra is the best.
What a shame you picked this one. Although John is always great, his version with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is the best.
Totally agreed
You should listen to stan walker singing amazing grace he is maori from new zealand
John's performance of this song from his Classic Jack Concert with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is miles better than this. Please check it out.
