    Loving my new monitor, especially at this price!
    If you want to check it out I'll leave the links below:
    Amazon.ca (Canada)
    32" LG 32GR93U - amzn.to/4bwYQE0
    Amazon.com (US)
    32" LG 32GR93U - amzn.to/4cEkEPl
    I know the Canadian link is the price I paid but if you are in the US check the LG website/BestBuy etc as they may have lowered the price there. And if you DON'T get this monitor, make sure whatever you do buy is at least a similar or better deal. The sale prices happen, be patient!
    And if you decide to go OLED instead... I get it lol. It's risky in a way but hey, yolo! My OLED TV is from 2016 is is still working like a CHAMP.

      Hi! Thanks to the comments I really appreciate the positive vibes. I believe those are the govee TV bars. I'll check later and update the comment if they're different from that. I still like them! Black Friday sales will be coming soon so that might be a good time to shop for them and get a good price.

    This is awesome…..you said everything I was thinking and concluded after my 3 months of research! And you purchased my number 1 on my short list! I ended up with my number 2 as I paid full price an no sweet sale I’m afraid. I purchased the MSI Optic 4k 32 inch. I do highly recommend both yours and mine for anyone looking for something similar.

      I'm so glad others agree it's a good monitor. I'm loving it! I eyed that MSI too but the timing with the deal was just there for the LG so I went for it. I'm guessing you are happy with yours?
      I MAY have just bought a video card yesterday so it's on its way.... I said I wasn't going to but, it was a sale I couldn't resists 🤣 It's a MSI 4080 Super Expert... doesn't have the best cooling apparently but I'm sure it'll be just fine and make this monitor sing. I can't wait. To be fair this 2070 is still rocking pretty good. I bought CyberPunk on the steam sale and really want to play it in all it's glory lol. I think with this monitor and that video card I finally can.

      @@thesahdstudio yes I’m super happy with the monitor! I’m also holding out for a new GPU. I’m an AMD fan so I’m looking at the 7900xtx…….maybe later this year I’ll take the plunge so at the moment I’m using the igpu onboard my Ryzen 7900 cpu.
      I’m also looking to upgrade from the A7iii to the A7Siii earlier next year and a Sony 100-400. So I’m gonna guess I’ll get that gpu in 2026 ;)

    There are QC issues with these monitors if they were manufactured between July and October 2023. My monitor was manufactured in October 2023 and I experienced black lines after 3 months or ~600 hours of usage/on-time. LG replaced my defective panel with a brand new, flawless panel but I’d be SOL if the new panel had arrived with 1-2 dead pixels.
    Great monitor. Check the manufacture date before purchasing in-store or just refund your July-October 2023 monitor if you ordered it online.

    I'm neither a UA-camr nor a hard core gamer so my monitor needs are modest. Having said that, I really wanted 4K so in February I purchased a Samsung 28" ViewFinity IPS monitor from Best Buy when it was on sale for $250 US (and that included tax!). Clearly, at that price I didn't get perfection but I got "good enough" --- except for the stand, which was a terrible, flimsy wobbly thing. But I watched your video about the Huanuo monitor arm and picked one up, and I've been a happy camper ever since.

    • @thesahdstudio
      @thesahdstudio  3 місяці тому +2

      That sounds like a nice setup. I really battled with whether or not I need the giant 32" size. 27" seemed sufficient so I think 28" would be a great compromise. Plus Samsung just make nice screens. Glad to hear you are still happy with the monitor arm! Me too.

    I was about to buy Asus Monitor 32" ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM for + 10% on top of the price (~2k euros) for a 5-year warranty and after a months of waiting because of shipping delays I was thinking the exact same things as you did!
    So I called and changed the order with LG 32GR93U-B and I am waiting for it on Wednesday… let others worry about burn-in and warranty coverage (which btw no retail store covers burn-in whatever the case)

      Did you get a decent price on the LG? Honestly I love this monitor so much. Don't forget your have to deal with reflection on the OLED! That is super annoying at times. I can't wait to hear what you think about it once you've had some time with it! I have zero regrets.

    • @FoivosAngelakis
      @FoivosAngelakis 2 місяці тому +1

      Unfortunately, it’s more expensive because prices in Greece are already about 15% higher (750€ + 85€ for a 5-year warranty). However, it’s not an unexplainable difference like 1700€ + 250€ for the warranty.
      I’m actually happy that I came across your video because you reassured me that I didn’t make a mistake by not going with a more expensive option… you are the best my friend! Thank you for your video!
      On Wednesday I will come back with impressions 🙂

    regarding calibration, this monitor has some of the best out-of-box accuracy for an IPS out there (LG in general is known for that). I'd recommend switching to sRGB mode for maximum accuracy; it'll lock you out of a few options but not as much as most other monitors do - one of those is response time, but it keeps it at 'Fast' which is by far the best across all refresh rates anyway.

    • @thesahdstudio
      @thesahdstudio  3 місяці тому +1

      Interesting! Thanks for that. Any idea what 'Fast' locks or limits the frame rate to? I haven't been able to find that info yet online/

    • @srn7254
      @srn7254 3 місяці тому +1

      @@thesahdstudio it doesn't limit your framerate actually; response time basically determines how fast pixels swap to display what's needed; IPS these days tend to be marketed as having 1ms and that's technically achievable if you go for maximum response time - but that also introduces lots of pixel overshoot and inverse ghosting (might wanna look up what that is if you're unfamiliar as it's best understood when seen), so you're always looking to find the right balance between fast response time without having pixel overshoot, and in the case of this monitor it's 'Fast' under response time settings.
      a lot of monitors have a problem where you can't rely on single response time setting to get the best balance possible across all refresh rates, so you're forced to constantly swap between different settings depending on how much FPS you can get (especially problematic with 4K gaming on PC given its hardware requirements) - but that's not really an issue on this monitor in particular because LG finetuned it exceptionally well to maintain that balance across all refresh rates with a single setting.
      I'm not best at explaining things, but hopefully you're getting my point 😅

    I have returned the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM, because of the price and the annoying reflection on the screen, now I am searching a IPS 32` Monitor for Gaming and Watching movies. Which one should I pick the LG 32GR93U-B for around 500 Euros or the Dell G3223Q for around 600? Dell has 3 year warrenty but has problems with 60 hz is better in HDR than the LG and the LG has a black line problem after 6 month usage and only has HDR 400

    • @thesahdstudio
      @thesahdstudio  2 місяці тому +1

      Honestly I haven't done research in a while so I don't know. Like you said Dell does have a really nice return policy but with that being said my friend who owns Dells has sent his back multiple times so perhaps some of their quality control might be a little bit trickier with the high-tech stuff. ...it's fantastic! :) I loved it. Was it overkill? Definitely. Would I do it again? I would! I got my Beam second hand and a great price. I'm not sure it's worth the full sticker price though. On my other channel I reviewed the Pebble speakers, and while they weren't great, I compared them to some Edifier speakers I recently bought (refurbed) and for the price those are the best bang for your buck. The ones I bought were the MR4's fyi.
