The worst thing a person could do is having a relative to come and help declutter from a home. They take it upon themselves to throw away things you want ie: craft supplies to throwing away floor rugs instead of seeing if they can be washed and putting stuff away where you don't want it ie expensive jewelry in a plastic storage unit. The list goes on. I rather take my time and do it myself or get a friendly acquaintance to help. They treat you better!!

Years ago.. and again today 😂 Shannon my last child my son, will be moving out on Jan 2,2023. I struggle with paper the most, but memories of my children the little things, they don’t want, things my dad through out years ago of mine, that I still wanted keep me from letting go I guess. I grew up with hardly anything. Like 2 pairs of pants and no extra snacks .. guess what my home is filled with 😂

I wish could join but...my husband had cancer and I to had 3 hospital stays of week or more and 2 surgeries!!! So we have given up lots of things this yr. TV satellite radio heat and air-conditioning to a point usually 62 in winter and 82 in summer so can't afford right now!! Sorry oh not complaining explaining!!! We know how blessed we are!!!

I lived in a 5 bedroom home 3 1/2 bath almost 4000 feet we moved and I gave away had 3 or 4 yard sales and....threw away 4 large trash cans full maybe over full to a 3 bed 2 bath home about 1800 sft. And my garage and spare bedroom still full and I mean wall to wall to ceiling!!!
I moved kitchen and eating area into " formal dinning room to put new floors so now that room wall to wall to ceiling!!! Just over whelmed
