Next time you are at the car wash check to see if they have hooks on the wall to hang your mats then use the pressure washer from the car wash to clean them. I worked for a car rental company and this is how we always did the mats

I bought bathroom rugs to put over the mats in all my vehicles. Extra layer of padding and much easier to clean.

Our 1998 Buick Saber is truly on her last legs, lol. Bought her with 78,000 miles on her for 5000 when my car was stolen and trashed and I needed one quick to commute to work. For the time, she was a bit of an upscale model. Our 2005 Jeep Liberty (6000 dollars, 123,000 miles then) has some good years left in her still. We've given her two catalytic converters, fixed the air conditioning, and this summer put in a new starter. She hasn't cost us much since we bought her in 2014. I'll keep her as long as feasible, given car prices now

I drive a 2003 Ford Explorer. I bought her new. She has 102,000 miles. In the 20 years I’ve spent no more than 2000.00 on repairs. She drives great n ride great. I’m 65 n I will probably drive her till I no longer can drive lol. Buying a new vehicle now you loose so much money. They drop in valve thousands of dollars as soon as you drive off the lot n wow the price of them is crazy. I love mine , she might not have all that fancy stuff on her but she has all I need.
@@Tobywedinikki I drive a 14 year old base model Corolla. Her name is Nicole Justice, and I refer to her as "she" just like you do to your car. She has 117,000 miles. My baby girl has manual locks and windows. She doesn't have not one fancy schmancy bell nor whistle. People made fun of me for a long time, even when they asked for rides here and there. Eventually they stopped teasing me because I stopped replying to their comments. They still ask for rides 😉 It is often inconvenient to reach over to roll the window up / down, but at least I don't worry about ever being trapped inside. Long live simplicity. Sometimes my Nicole Justice takes me to the car show to meet some of her friends.

I always splurge for the winter mats package when getting a new car (or get the dealer to throw them in). It's so worth it. My carpet still looks brand new!

Yeah we drive our cars until least 19 years old. I just spent $750 on a new fuel gauge. We don’t know how long we’re gonna be driving and so we’re fixing up the old cars.

I use a cargo net and large recyclable bags to organize things my trunk, but I might try the baskets because they make things look neater than my bags do.

I use a sturdy ziplock bag in my console so I can grab everything out when I go to get my car washed. Keeps the interior clean too.

The next time you want to clean your car floor mats take them to a car wash that has clips on the wall. You can pressure wash them, and they come out amazing. Or you can do it at home if you own a pressure washer. Thanks for the great tips.

I loved all ur ideas, and I am very envious that u have a Dixon. I had a dachshund when I was younger and have always wanted another. However the price of them r a couple thousand, I'd have to sell a kidney to afford one at that price. Lol

I use a carabiner to clip my car keys to the cart in the grocery store.

Most products have synthetic scents which are toxic. Those are really not good for you. A good substitute is using essential oils on a cotton ball or whatever you choose to hold drops on. Place in the car out of the way and know that these scents are not harmful to humans, you may not want your cat to come in contact with it but you will be a lot healthier using a safer product when using scents. Love your videos, you have a lot of great tips! ❤

I'm all for organization, but I don't think it's wise to keep any medication in a vehicle because of how hot it can get inside. It's supposed to be stored at regular room temperatures.

I was going to say the same thing. The heat breaks down the medication, so it is not recommended for them to be stored in a vehicle, especially in the pill organizer, which would also expose the pills to fluctuations in humidity.
But it is a great idea for those who work out of their car all day doing sales or client visits. They go thru meds and of course need different ones. I keep a bottle of Tylenol caplets and ibuprofen tablets in my center console along with chapstick, lipstick etc and honestly it is one part of my vehicle that doesn't seem to get as bad as the cabin air.
I wish cars still had storage. My console is a joke.

Make a note don't store meds in heat of car it can change the strength of meds. Also if u put perspiration drugs in a container without label u can get a DUI possibly get a D poand

Call me old fashioned, but I dont think we really need things to do at a red light. There are so many distractions in the car, as it is. My biggest pet peeve is people making videos while driving. I do love the idea of having a neat little organizer bag containing all those items, though. I also have fur babies, and I carry their special items in a reusable bag. Thank you for all the tips!

I don’t want to be a Debbie downer but putting medicine in the car isn’t a good idea. I work in a pharmacy and meds shouldn’t get too cold or too overheated so between 65*-77* is ideal. It will make the meds less potent and can break down the coating. But the other hacks are great!!!

You have great organization ideas. But scrubbing your car floor mats in the kitchen sink is just gross and unsanitary! 🤮 Hope you disinfected your sink and all around it with bleach. I would've done so in a laundry sink instead.
