Huda Beauty is a brand that I can't get behind, I'd rather put my money elsewhere. Sugar pill just feels like a gimic to me. Honestly nothing has made me stop and want to purchase it in awhile. Maybe I'm just overwhelmed with the massive amount of selection there is.
I just bought the Tatcha Liquid Silk Canvas, and I’m obsessed. I have the Tatcha Silk Canvas and I don’t really LOVE it. I LOVE the new liquid version. It’s a beautiful soft and smooth application, and my makeup looked amazing all day. I’ve been through so many high end primers, and this is by far my favorite so far. With that being said I did just get it yesterday so I’ve only used it twice. I would definitely go to the store and try it out first, and even ask for a sample to take home and use under your makeup before making the investment. It is a little pricey.
Huda definitely had 9 pans out like this for a long time, “monochromatic” ones longer than CP for sure. (Even though many aren’t true monochrome.) The bigger thing is these mini pastels are definitely mini Mercury Retrograde style, and in the works for a while. Colourpop can have a 4 week turnaround, Huda has a normal brand’s turnaround of 6 months or more. How did they copy from the future, based on their own big palette? My summary, similar on accident. Get the ABH X NG glow kit, it is too gorgeous for summer. I immediately panned the white shade Forever Lit. It is great by itself or to mix with the shades that might be too dark on you. The formula mixes and blends so well. I also love it on my collarbone and shoulders for tank tops in warm weather. I still have to see the Pink capsule in person, but it is on my intrigue list. Not sure if it is wishlist yet, but the color stories in those damn capsules are really striking and I have a soft spot for Sugarpill. My wallet seems to want to open for them easier? 😆

Kevlar B Lightning this is an interesting analysis, I hadn’t thought about the brands respective lead times 🤔 I think jeffrees salty comment is based on the fact that Huda copied his jawbreaker marketing campaign with being inside the claw. She struggles with original campaign ideas it seems...
Z N That was just one aspect of the marketing, she did one separate theme for every palette and was coherent with that one. It was doll/toy theme on every marketing pic. I ALWAYS think a palette is going to be bigger than it is, I 100% relate to you on that! I was so shook when my Viseart Petit Pro arrived, I knew it was going to be small but I didn't think it would be THAT small
Lady, you are the first beauty creator I've subbed to in a long time. More and more it feels like I'm unsubscribing from people, but you are so refreshing!!! Thanks for keeping me company while I've been sick this week ☺️ Edit while watching: I also have a problem visualizing the size of products online. They do it on purpose I'm sure, the whole "bigger is better" marketing tactic. I'm always surprised how small things are in person!
Those Sugarpill "collections" I think are sooo cute! Yes, this is the second collab Pur has done with Trolls. Apparently there's a new Trolls movie coming out. When I was younger I had an eyeshadow pallet like these but it was from Covergirl or Maybelline. 😂

What happened to the statement Norvina made at the beggining od the year stating that ABH wpuld only be having 1 release until their Winter release?! They've had like 4 since sheade the statement.
I love the abh Nicole pallet. It’s my favourite highlighter. I was so sad when I hit pan on half of them and I was so excited to hear it’s coming back. Literally just ordered it
I'm so excited for that cream bronzer, it looks like it's catering to olive skin tones which is exactly why I almost only buy from fenty. The only brand who helps me out😭😭
The Tatcha Silk canvas is AMAZING. Also, I love that Fenty has bronzers coming out that are a little on the grey side -- too many people walking around with war stripes of warm colors on their faces. There should be a little grey in it, thats how shadows work! Love your content!!
I love ur vids. I struggle with my self and u make me happy. I don’t like myself bc my weight but u help me through it. Watching ur vids after a long day before bed is my fav thing to use to decompress
Pur does have a great palette I just picked up- pretty, vibrant, smooth. I think called the visionary. I also have a bronzer/highlight and a mascara. Their section in my ulta is growing. Focus is on being a very clean brand- quality ingredients and no icky stuff
i used to like benefit .. but not so much anymore.. i like the rollerlash. ive been watching because im terrible at makeup .. ive learned so much watching u and kristy.
I actually like the Huda’s pastel palettes, It’s impossible to use colourpop’s ones alone but with this one you can actually made a lot of looks with just the 9 shades. I think it’s just a better option and you can really tell the quality is so much better.
Oh god... everytime you upload I know that I have to go to sleep after that video 😅 it's 11pm here in middle Europe. Your upload time is perfect haha thanks for reminding me I actually have to be a productive human being the next day. About the Jolina palette...she is really cool, I am sure the products are great quality. She deserves it 100%
With the over saturation of makeup and even companies it's almost impossible for anything to be original, that and each product is trying to copy another brand or look or trend. Honestly its overwhelming almost YEARS ago when I wore one brand of foundation, my holy grail per say and I bought only the products I used every day and didnt have multiple products for the SAME thing it was less overwhelming than having a collection basically. At any given time I have 6 foundations I wear not to mention the dozen that no longer works or the shade isnt right atm or I just got bored and the multiple other products for all the different looks and moods I find myself getting bored even easier and putting TOO much thought in it and constantly considering what I will purchase or try next. I mean I def buy more affordable brands now and try more along with a mix of high end but I've always loved makeup but didnt always feel the need to hoard it up and buy more than I can use up in a few months. I mean it's the time and industry we're in? Does anyone wear the same foundation for years bc its SO good, and Robert Welsh mentioned how they're so many realeases now....too many! And brands that come out with so many new collections etc tend to discontinue others or they are first a limited time which sucks bc when you find a product u really enjoy u worry how long it will be available or will they change it, or at least I do!! I feel makeup is made and marketed more around online mua, and youtubers and influencers than the customers necessarily, like they make as much as possible and change as much as possible, so they and the ppl they sponsor or the ppl with all the views bc of it make money while "regular ppl " are in a never ending hunt for the "perfect " this or that or the trend instead of what the best and works the best for them. Which is kinda normal, but really who can keep up, it feels like we constantly are told we NEED this or it's so much better but what if you already like what u own?? And to a point have so many products is ridiculous bc u can't use them all. They WILL go bad some will last years but let's be honest we may use one old pallet or a coupe go to eye shadows and blushed we've had for years but not 30 of them! I go through and throw out foundation every 6 mo and if I keep it a year and it's still good and I've not used it I throw it out then. Ugh there's my rant lol
I'm not even that much into make up but I still love to hear Hannah's opinions on things. I have 3 eyeshadow palettes and I've never used 2 of them. The only one I use is the one I bought myself from nyx. I got the other two as gifts, one for my bday and one for Christmas. I really gotta use them one of these days tho ^^
I like hearing about makeup from you: I can say that we have very similar taste and opinions and you are like my Pilot, you just fly through all the good stuff for me and I love it, thank you So much and I actually can listen to you as well which I just can't do with a whole lot of people. xo
I love that you gave that Devil Wears Prada quote as a comparison. So far 2020 has been summed up in that quote for me. I talked about how for Valentine's Day everyone was releasing pinks and purples (also revolutionary) and now we have pastels. Can't wait for all summer brights and the earthy colors for fall ;). It makes sense, it sells ... but I am getting bored. Granted I am also on a full year no buy so maybe that has something to do with it. I have to say - the cream products are calling to me (I think Samantha Ravndahl has corrupted us all) so those are already on my wishlist and something I will jump on in 2021 when I am off my no buy. Loved hearing your thoughts! Have a great week.
I haven't been online alot lately, but I just wanted to pop on and comment a nice hello! You look lovely Hannah! Your eyeshadow game is getting STRONG btw 👌❤️
Also wanted to make a random hidden gem recommendation as I was thinking about Benefit. Their complexion products are not incredible, however......have you ever tried the Dandelion Twinkle highlight powder?? 😍🤩 I bought it on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! The texture is sooooo soft and silky! It's a more subtle glow, but the way it melts into the skin just got me hooked! It doesn't emphasize texture, and the soft pink color is actually very flattering. (on my skin tone anyway, which is very similar to yours)
So many releases are just “meh” for me. I don’t buy benefit because they’re not cruelty free, but even if I did I don’t see a shade for me in their stick foundation (and I’m fair). I do want to try cream contouring but I’m just not sure what to go with yet. Also, Huda did have the 9 pan palettes before colourpop
I bought the huda 9 pans on a Black Friday/cyber Monday sale and I do love them. They were half off which is why I bought them and I enjoy them. Buildable, fun colours and especially cause I was trying to break away from the basic glamish look, I really liked them.
I honestly think you would really like the Nicole glow kit ! It is sooo blinding and glowy yet it somehow sits on top of the skin in a way that emphasizes texture a lot less than lots of other highlighters :)
the only thing that I‘m definetly going to buy is the sugarpill c2 palette. I‘m so excited about the colourstory and I love the sugarpill eyeshadow formula!!!
OMG Try the Sugarpill Palettes! I am not kidding they are the best imo!! And btw the Lethal x Jolina is from a German beauty youtuber, she also has a few videos in english if you'll be interested in checking her out (Jolina Mennen).
Smokey Glow: "you know how like you touch a highlighter and you want that wet, silky feeling?" Me: No? I don't know. I mean I've only ever owned baked highlighters... Am I missing out?!
Emily Broadstone i do think baked highlighters feel more “chalky” and stiff compared to others. I've owned one baked highlighter i thought was good quality and would have worn it if it wasn't for the shade. But i do think they feel different from others though
Please try a regular highlighter!! They are honestly so much better (of course in my opinion!). A more affordable highlighter that's good is the Maybelline masterchrome in rose gold if you just want to try a highlighter that's not baked! You need a lot less product though, so use a light hand if you're used to baked highlighters! I hope you like it!
A baked highlighter is really i feel for more of a natural look. If you're looking for lots of shine and somthing buildable a regular formula or a formula like the colourpop super shocks are great for that!
Re: everything being smaller, this happened to me all the time when I started watching UA-cam/experimenting with makeup in 2018. I would see a UA-camr hold and show a palette, then at Ulta be shocked at how small it was. I have decided all UA-camrs obviously have tiny hands (and not that the perspective of filming or photos affected it). Notable moments-the Dose of Colours 5 pan palettes and the BH cosmetics take me back to Brazil palettes
HUDA’s eyeshadow formula is my favorite formula on the market; the mini obsessions were definitely before Colourpop. It started with the Mauve Obsessions, Warm Brown obsessions, etc.
Jeffree's comment wasn't really just about the 9 pans. It was because Colourpop had just released their 9 pan in the same colors. Then Huda did the promo pictures in a giant claw machine which was very similar to Jeffree's Jawbreaker pics.
Jolina Mennen ist a German Influencer and she was one of the first who supported Lethal Cosmetics and seems to be close to the people working there :) I see where you coming from in relation to staying with customized palettes *but* this palette is actually more affordable than making a whole Lethal palette so it's a great chance to try out their formula! Also it's a good chance for Lethal to get more popularity. A lot of other influencer were like "oh never heard of that brand before" or "was interested but didn't try it yet. But I want to support Jolina"
After watching the videos you & Abby made using Lethal shadows I really wanna try some. I like their shadow selection too, it's a lot less overwhelming than CP's byop.
influenster sent me the tatcha liquid canvas and it’s pretty good! i haven’t tried the balm but i like the liquid! it’s not greasy, feels like skincare, and blues my pores. i also bought the NG glow kit and it just came in today! so glad to finally have it
I have both of the Tatcha Primers and I agree I Love it and it totally feels like skincare which I also Love 💜💜💜 I filmed a comparison between the two and I don't however feel a difference between the Balm and liquid once it's on the face I think they preform the same 🥰💜💜💜 Oh and Just saw that You also have a Channel so I Subscribed 💜💜💜
I’m the opposite with Fenty: I always get excited about their stuff because they are innovative but ultimately not a fan of the product. The bronzer was patchy on me, the small eyeshadow palette I have is just meh, the glass is good but overrated, the liquid lipstick I have is ok but nothing groundbreaking.
Benefit have had a foundation stick before! I had it in high school when full coverage was rare! It was in like a silver tube, veryyy cakey, wonder if it’s the same formula re branded

I have the Sugarpill x Little Twin Stars palette. The shimmer shades are not transforming or extraordinary or anything like that but they are decent, and I do think they look pretty on the eyes.
I remember like 14 years ago they sold these little brow sets with wax and powder. You had to brush the wax onto the hair then brush the powder over it to stick. Wild. We've come a long way
The matte formula for Sugarpill is so-so. Some are better than others, most are really dry and don't live up to the hype. The shimmers I've only swatched at Riley Rose, but they were really nice. Kitten Parade and Wink Wink were super cute
I'm the same about the Nicole abh palette. I missed out the first time and I feel like the highlighter scene has improved since but I also don't want to have fomo. I'll probably get it, lol. I'm really excited about the fenty products, total yass for me.
Im so glad I am not the only person who has trouble gauging the size of palettes online, the first time i ordered from colourpop I was so shocked the 9 pan palettes were a little smaller than I had expected but I got the sweet talk and oh my gosh I was like at least 1/2 the size I thought it was going to be.
Also Pur collabed with the Grinch and it as the WOOOOORRRST.
I bought the liquid liners on sale and they were complete garbage

I ALWAYS think a palette is going to be bigger than it is, I 100% relate to you on that! I was so shook when my Viseart Petit Pro arrived, I knew it was going to be small but I didn't think it would be THAT small
Lady, you are the first beauty creator I've subbed to in a long time. More and more it feels like I'm unsubscribing from people, but you are so refreshing!!! Thanks for keeping me company while I've been sick this week ☺️
Edit while watching: I also have a problem visualizing the size of products online. They do it on purpose I'm sure, the whole "bigger is better" marketing tactic. I'm always surprised how small things are in person!
Jolina is a German UA-camr! I like her and her humour!
I like her too but I am a bit disappointed because she promoted this unhealthy weight loss pills.
Those Sugarpill "collections" I think are sooo cute!
Yes, this is the second collab Pur has done with Trolls. Apparently there's a new Trolls movie coming out. When I was younger I had an eyeshadow pallet like these but it was from Covergirl or Maybelline. 😂
RocknRollRat those old maybelline palettes looked exactly the same with the Pur ones!
"i hope you guys like this video" girl I slam the watch now button every time I get a notification for your videos! love your content and I've been wanting a brow wax so bad, I've been waiting forever for the iconic London one to come back in stock at ulta
Jolina is a german youtuber. As lethal cosmetics is a brand from Germany/Berlin, the collaboration makes a lot of sense. She is one of the biggest german beauty-youtubers, she posts a lot about her journey as a transgender.
Love your videos Hannah!♡
What happened to the statement Norvina made at the beggining od the year stating that ABH wpuld only be having 1 release until their Winter release?! They've had like 4 since sheade the statement.
Pretty sure that was only for eyeshadow palettes.. 🤷
I do think she said just one palette will be released until holiday and a few smaller releases would be happening throughout the year
That's what I was thinking lol
here to hear that "yass or pass" music 💛 ETA - I feel you on the picking a different foundation to fit what kinda skin day one's having
The only brand who helps me out😭😭
I don't normally wear makeup but I love binge-watching this series! I also love all of your content!
The Tatcha Silk canvas is AMAZING. Also, I love that Fenty has bronzers coming out that are a little on the grey side -- too many people walking around with war stripes of warm colors on their faces. There should be a little grey in it, thats how shadows work! Love your content!!
The Fenty ones are contours not bronzers. That’s why they are “odd” colors.
I love ur vids. I struggle with my self and u make me happy. I don’t like myself bc my weight but u help me through it. Watching ur vids after a long day before bed is my fav thing to use to decompress
♥️♥️
Pur does have a great palette I just picked up- pretty, vibrant, smooth. I think called the visionary. I also have a bronzer/highlight and a mascara. Their section in my ulta is growing. Focus is on being a very clean brand- quality ingredients and no icky stuff
I feel like their regular line is fantastic! But it's the weird collabs like trolls, mlp, or the grinch that are just sub-par..
I looove the sugarpill shimmer formula! I still have the cold chemistry palette and those colors are some of my absolute faves!
i used to like benefit .. but not so much anymore.. i like the rollerlash. ive been watching because im terrible at makeup .. ive learned so much watching u and kristy.
Brow wax is kind of a throw-back product! Elf has had one for years.
She deserves it 100%
Last time I was this early, there were original products 😂
Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t benefit have a stick foundation before with and even WORSE shade range? Like three colors?
Hallie D correct
Looking at that ABH mascara packaging just gives me secondhand embarrassment.
I like hearing about makeup from you: I can say that we have very similar taste and opinions and you are like my Pilot, you just fly through all the good stuff for me and I love it, thank you So much and I actually can listen to you as well which I just can't do with a whole lot of people. xo
I think I love that Amber bronzer from Fenty. Looks like it will be a really good cool toned contour which can be hard to find.
You look cute af. The hair, makeup, jacket 😍😍. The only thing I’m excited for is the fenty blush. It looks so pretty.
You look so good in this video
"evolved into a shiny pokemon😂😂" pokemon are either shiny or not just a heads up 😄
@Sarah Fridley Maybe Hannah evolved into a glowing Pokémon, the first of its kind. 😉
I love the Troll palettes! I want the purple and the neutral. I’m 41 ☹️❤️❤️❤️
I've never been this early to a video before, wow we love supporting our queen
yaaaaaaaaaaassss the sun is out at 6 pm and hannah uploaded.... hello serotonin
Ohhhh yay I'm definitely excited about the Fenty cream blushes bronzers and highlighters. Not enough cream bronzer on the market!
OMG Try the Sugarpill Palettes! I am not kidding they are the best imo!!
And btw the Lethal x Jolina is from a German beauty youtuber, she also has a few videos in english if you'll be interested in checking her out (Jolina Mennen).
Smokey Glow: "you know how like you touch a highlighter and you want that wet, silky feeling?"
Me: No? I don't know. I mean I've only ever owned baked highlighters... Am I missing out?!
Emily Broadstone i do think baked highlighters feel more “chalky” and stiff compared to others. I've owned one baked highlighter i thought was good quality and would have worn it if it wasn't for the shade. But i do think they feel different from others though
Please try a normal type highlighter you’ll know the difference for sure!! Won’t go back. That’s what I did.
Yes!
I normally don’t watch makeup channels except for NikkiTutorials, Jeffree Star, or Shane, and I just think you’re such a breath of fresh air!!!🌸
HUDA’s eyeshadow formula is my favorite formula on the market; the mini obsessions were definitely before Colourpop. It started with the Mauve Obsessions, Warm Brown obsessions, etc.
That benefit range is *so* bad. The lightest shade is a contour shade for me...
Exactly... Like you have zero deep shades but also zero fair shade??? Who are you marketing toward?! 4 people?
I'm with you. Things always look way bigger on IG and UA-cam and I'm always surprised how much smaller they are in person.
Your makeup is a vibe!!! Ur Eyes plus sweater/jacket = ꧁mood꧂
Hannah you will LOVE the Nicole Guerriero glow kit, i can't recommend it enough
Also it’s always smaller in person. Like brands want you to think things are bigger it works in their interest
Okay I’m seriously going to need a skincare routine!
influenster sent me the tatcha liquid canvas and it’s pretty good! i haven’t tried the balm but i like the liquid! it’s not greasy, feels like skincare, and blues my pores. i also bought the NG glow kit and it just came in today! so glad to finally have it
I have both of the Tatcha Primers and I agree I Love it and it totally feels like skincare which I also Love 💜💜💜 I filmed a comparison between the two and I don't however feel a difference between the Balm and liquid once it's on the face I think they preform the same 🥰💜💜💜 Oh and Just saw that You also have a Channel so I Subscribed 💜💜💜
Called play sticks!
Love this series. Keeps me updated on new releases! Also, your eyes are so sparkly.
jolina mennen is a german trans beautyguru and they also did 2 lipsticks and a gloss and I LOOOOVE the gloss, it is sooo beautiful and also feels like an oil!
I get so happy when I hear the “Yaaasss of Pass” sounder.
I just wish this were longer.
I was recently broken up with, and I have been rewatching your videos to keep my mind busy (although he is from your area in NY so that reminds me of him but still lol). Thank you, hannah❤️😭
Sending you love ♥️♥️ you got this 💪🏻
Alyssa C girl i'm from her area in ny and i can tell you none of the guys here are worth shit
You guys 😭❤️ thank you! My heart hurts so much! I never comment...thank you 😭❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼
I have the Sugarpill x Little Twin Stars palette. The shimmer shades are not transforming or extraordinary or anything like that but they are decent, and I do think they look pretty on the eyes.
hannaaaaa, where is this sweater from? it's so cute!!
I’m on a no buy month. I’m passing on everything lol
Fenty amber looks so nice and contour-y but I got amber the stick and it's SO much warmer than you think ughhh
I'm a weirdo and I do my eyebrows with beard balm because I like how it works lol so I'm assuming the brow wax is probably similar.
YAAS. Just received the Midas Smokey Glow and Green Tea Macchiato 🥰. First Midas purchase.
Sis, I got my Smokey Glow palette today, and it is so gorgeous in person! I can't wait to play with it. Awesome job on it.
I'm the same about the Nicole abh palette. I missed out the first time and I feel like the highlighter scene has improved since but I also don't want to have fomo. I'll probably get it, lol. I'm really excited about the fenty products, total yass for me.
just started the video and oh my lord ...
YOU ARE STUNNING! ❤😍
Your makeup looks so pretty. Love these videos.
I have been wanting a highlight with no base colour for so long. I'm so excited, yay fenty!
Pur did have a trolls collar for the first movie and I think this is for the second movie
