I don’t get how that’s possible, but I also don’t think Nyma would support this if it wasn’t true. I guess we will see. I also want to see Jackie Aina use the powder and hear her take on it.
I'm european, but i'm so scared for the elections tomorrow, because it will influence european countries as well. as someone who turned 18 last year and was able to vote in my own country's elections i encourage every american who is eligible to vote to please do it!!! it's so important!!! also, thank you hannah for using your platform to promote voting for so long!

@Ssilnah Yes, I counted votes for a state election once. The number of people who didn't vote properly on their ballot was frustrating. But I would rather that than have people not vote at all. The voter turnout here is high and voting is so easy.
I dropped off my absentee ballot in person last week, so did my family, and I registered my boyfriend and got him to vote for the first time ever. Checked to make sure our ballots were accepted and they were. Thank you for all the work you've done using your voice and helping people register, motivating and reminding how easy it is. Contrapoints recently did a great video on voting with lots of, in my opinion, great arguments to still consider voting for Biden even if he's not your #1 boy, even if you don't love him and he's not perfect, a vote for him doesn't necessarily mean you support everything about him, it's a vote against Trump, it's strategy. i actually purchased it yesterday to try it out to see if she has improved her formula. This is what I will say about it....the mattes feel very dry while applying, one of the shimmer marbles named Flower Power is flakey/patchy, Slippery is useless and does absolutely nothing spectacular when applied on top of either a matte or shimmer. All it does it give it a light sheer. The color Passion appears a dark blue reflective color on my dark skin, which is not flattering to me. The marble shimmer named Hard looks like an average brown matte on my eyes....this is strange because it's only slightly lighter than the shade spicy.....so what was the point of having a marble shimmer that looks similiar to another shade in the same palette (on dark skin)??? I have come to the realization that this palette was specifically made to capture the attention of buyers who are focused on the esthetics/the appearance of the shadows more so than the quality. It is NOT worth $67. Although I have a 20% discount and paid $53. I will be returning it to Sephora today. My mind has not changed in regards to Huda Beauty products. I have been disappointed with previous palettes and make up from this brand and this new palette is also a let down for me. Maybe I have become spoiled by the brands I love and use daily- natasha denona, pat mcgrath, viseart, some ABH eye palettes.

Some of the colors may be pigmented but it feels drying while applying it with a brush and especially when you blend it. I dont even have dry skin. I just don't find her formula to equate the price tag of her makeup

I'm really considering getting the new Huda Palette - I'm actually looking forward to using Slippery. I enjoy doing really minimalistic eyeshadow looks from time to time so in this case, I would probably just layer Slippery over one of the matte shades, add mascara, and call it good.
I definitely agree that Huda is trying to be innovative with the Slippery shade.. but only one doesn’t quite hit the mark. For me, I ended up loving the Sugarpill capsule palettes. I have the first two, and physically holding and using the, they feel great. Sturdy, thick, smooth quality plastic with a nice weight, and in those 2 the blushes are biggest, then the shimmers are second largest assuming you’ll use more shimmer than matte. I’ve really enjoyed having them and am excited to pick up the Black Capsule eventually too
Around 4(?) years ago I bought a CoverFX holiday highlighter palette, it was a 6 pan palette with beautiful shiny packaging, and I use it all the time. No regrets. The shades look great and they are super versatile, I use them as eyeshadows sometimes too. I say go for it.

In Australia voting is compulsory and I couldn't imagine not doing it.
@Ssilnah Yes, I counted votes for a state election once. The number of people who didn't vote properly on their ballot was frustrating. But I would rather that than have people not vote at all. The voter turnout here is high and voting is so easy.
I dropped off my absentee ballot in person last week, so did my family, and I registered my boyfriend and got him to vote for the first time ever. Checked to make sure our ballots were accepted and they were. Thank you for all the work you've done using your voice and helping people register, motivating and reminding how easy it is. Contrapoints recently did a great video on voting with lots of, in my opinion, great arguments to still consider voting for Biden even if he's not your #1 boy, even if you don't love him and he's not perfect, a vote for him doesn't necessarily mean you support everything about him, it's a vote against Trump, it's strategy. I can't nearly explain as well as she did but it is an excellent video worth watching, especially if you think it's a waste of time to vote, are undecided, plan on voting 3rd party hoping for a revolution or to protest vote, etc. Anyway onto watching your video, Hannah, lol. I'm so glad you mentioned Colourpop and their sparkly matte shades!!! I bought their In A Trance palette and was surprised by the sparkly matte blue shade, which just gets glitter all over my face. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew that shade had glitter in it!

i actually purchased it yesterday to try it out to see if she has improved her formula. This is what I will say about it....the mattes feel very dry while applying, one of the shimmer marbles named Flower Power is flakey/patchy, Slippery is useless and does absolutely nothing spectacular when applied on top of either a matte or shimmer. All it does it give it a light sheer. The color Passion appears a dark blue reflective color on my dark skin, which is not flattering to me. The marble shimmer named Hard looks like an average brown matte on my eyes....this is strange because it's only slightly lighter than the shade spicy.....so what was the point of having a marble shimmer that looks similiar to another shade in the same palette (on dark skin)??? I have come to the realization that this palette was specifically made to capture the attention of buyers who are focused on the esthetics/the appearance of the shadows more so than the quality. It is NOT worth $67. Although I have a 20% discount and paid $53. I will be returning it to Sephora today.
My mind has not changed in regards to Huda Beauty products. I have been disappointed with previous palettes and make up from this brand and this new palette is also a let down for me. Maybe I have become spoiled by the brands I love and use daily- natasha denona, pat mcgrath, viseart, some ABH eye palettes.

@@shannamarie_84 im glad someone other than myself has noticed that. The other palettes of hers that I have tried felt the same way. Some of the colors may be pigmented but it feels drying while applying it with a brush and especially when you blend it. I dont even have dry skin. I just don't find her formula to equate the price tag of her makeup

@@nancydrewandtattoos8640 in defense of makeup companies, I think it’s really hard for them to try to come up with things that are ground breaking because the market has been around so long and is so saturated that it’s almost impossible to do so. Everything has pretty much been done already, so it’s hard to come up with new ideas now.

I’m dying for the huda pallet!! Also as for the sugar pill capsule pallets I think the packaging is super cool! It gives off an edgy vibe. The giant pan is a blush and in my opinion I think they’re going for a molecule, sciencey vibe so that’s why the rest of the pans are different sizes.

The E.l.f. brightening concealer looks to be similar to the MAC Prep+Prime Highlighter. I have the shade Radiant Rose in the MAC one and it's my favorite on the days when I am super tired to brighten up my under eyes.

I'm really considering getting the new Huda Palette - I'm actually looking forward to using Slippery. I enjoy doing really minimalistic eyeshadow looks from time to time so in this case, I would probably just layer Slippery over one of the matte shades, add mascara, and call it good.

I definitely agree that Huda is trying to be innovative with the Slippery shade.. but only one doesn’t quite hit the mark.
For me, I ended up loving the Sugarpill capsule palettes. I have the first two, and physically holding and using the, they feel great. Sturdy, thick, smooth quality plastic with a nice weight, and in those 2 the blushes are biggest, then the shimmers are second largest assuming you’ll use more shimmer than matte. I’ve really enjoyed having them and am excited to pick up the Black Capsule eventually too

Around 4(?) years ago I bought a CoverFX holiday highlighter palette, it was a 6 pan palette with beautiful shiny packaging, and I use it all the time. No regrets. The shades look great and they are super versatile, I use them as eyeshadows sometimes too. I say go for it.
