    Good job! Love seeing you beat all those guys on the little Honda. When I turned 30 and didn't have to race seventeen year olds anymore, i bought a 125. It was so much fun beating all those guys on their big bikes.

    Great job Low Buck! I enjoyed watching your two motos more than any pro race on the planet. Considering the disadvantage you started with, I would call this a huge victory on your part and the "little" giant killer. You did much better on the first lap of moto 2 by getting up into the fray sooner!
    And don't forget, rev the shit out of that thing. It's a Honda, you can't break it, and you'll get a little better drive, especially in that deeper, loose stuff.

      Thanks! 3 videos.
      Did you watch my Sunday moto? (2 days of racing, sat,sun, 4 motos) my best finish was 14th, out of 32, again from last place. Mud on lens in moto 2. Here’s Sunday: ua-cam.com/video/o4q4IWd58vs/v-deo.html

    Dude, you are rocking it. If you like the ergo metrics of the bike, (and a lot do) Breathe on that engine some, perhaps some suspension stiffening, (so she won’t “knife in” and you can keep her rolling into the turns) and try two teeth down on rear sprocket, you will impress your buddies. This is inspiring to me (66yr old) haven’t raced since ‘85. Keep up the good work sir, 👍

      Thanks. I’m thinking big bore, cam, and porting next. 52t instead of 50t rear sprock also.

    It would be great if there was a class for the 250s that are out there. The Honda crf250f, Yamaha tt250, and the Kawasaki Klr 250, and the Suzuki Dr 250. Stock and modified class. Guys could afford to race then. Sure the mood class would be unreal what would be spent but the stock class would be great. Super competitive and a blast. Their would be so many aftermarket parts made for these bikes. It would be great for the industry and motocross in general. No young guy is going to ride in it but alot of older people that don't want to spend a lot would love to be competitive. Just an idea.

      Totally agree. The pit bike class has become very popular, and very competitive, for that very reason. For the young guys too.
      The Super-Pit class.

      Yep, it’s definitely a 450 track with the sand and uphills but I did see a few 125s burning some hot lap times.

    Are you still using cut stock springs with emulators? How much did you cut, is there a spacer, and if you don’t mind how much do you weigh?
    Nice job in this race, you moved up well!

    • @lowbuckgarage1
      @lowbuckgarage1  2 роки тому +1

      BBR heavy springs with emulators, no spacer, XR250R shock with remote reservoir, I weigh about 185.

    👏👏👏 Favorite video this year! I was at the Glen Helen GP a couple of weeks before this race on my 230, this makes me want to do DITD this weekend. Let me know if you’re going to do next years World Vet on your 230 I’ll be 60 after seeing this would definitely like to do it.

      I’ll be back! Still deciding on whether to drastically hop up the 230 with more motor mods or just sell it and get a 2016-18 MX bike. What would you do?
