Quick question i have the DS-HD1 model and i have both front and back doorbells . I have a mechanical chime . Do i need a power booster on both the front and back or can they both work off the one and share the transformer connection?
Does Hikvision make a (network) hard wired camera which would be compatible with my existing system? I have a Ring doorbell (wireless) which is disappointing.
The Ring has its own app. We like to use Hikvision because they have there own doorbell that can also tie into the camera system for standalone. So no, not that i’m aware of. If your only doing a doorbell camera, there are a few more options available. If your wanting your doorbell to tie into other cameras, Hikvision is a good solution.

Yes, Hikvision makes a hardwired doorbell camera that has POE capability and works with Hik-Connect. DS-KB8113 IME1. Do not get the Chinese version or you cannot update the Firmware. Best place to buy the US version is BH Photo. You can also install this doorbell camera onto your hikvision NVR system.

I love hikvision and wanted to love this door bell, but it is trash. Has awesome features if it would stay connected.
