As of the latest firmware update for this doorbell, it is no longer mandatory to use an indoor station and the doorbell can be used STANDALONE, with only hik-connect.

Can this be integrated in to home assistant ? MQTT, webhook or some other way to inform HA when there is motion event or someone pressing the door bell?
Device work great in home network. But when I am outside of home on 4G network, just receive message missing call. Doesnt received a call at 4G network. Normaly work at home wifi and LAN network, but outside doesnt work. Any solutions?

I have fitted one of these and use via Poe. It's already paid for itself by preventing an attempted break in, the alarm sounded when it was pulled off the wall. Question....can I add a chime to this, sometimes when my phone isn't near me I miss someone at the door?

good news! there's no need for indoor station anymore....so it's absolutely standalone if you whish! Check for the newest firmware

Door station spose to be WiFi sported but i couldnt work it out, only works with rg45 wires, any body has any idea
Can you use something like a 12V out to ring an old style doorbell in the rooms in your house that can’t hear the doorbell?
If the outdoor unit is connected with a POE switch... is it necessary for another power adapter for the lock? Wont the lock take power from the outdoor unit? Like it does from the hikvision 602 kit?

Firmware v2.1.5 build 200904 is standalone. And it is working without the monitor/indoor station even with wi-fi only connection.

USING DAHUA POE SWITCH
AND CONNECT INTERNET THROUGH ROUTER TO POE SWITCH
BOTH DOORBELL AND INDDORSTATION GOT POWER THROUGH POE SWITCH AND FOLLOW ALL THE SETUP PROCEDURES STILL CANT FIND DOOR BELL IN MAIN INDOOR STATION .

does this really need the monitor for it to operate correctly? what about just using the RTSP feed in your own Blue Iris or Synology NAS.
I was wondering the same thing I have a synology and I think that this would be a great addition to my system
@@whowhatisthat88 there is an updated video on youtube that explains that this is now possible on this unit. it does not need the indoor monitor and can be hooked up to SS or Blue Iris etc
Can it adjust the outdoor station ringing volume when you pass the button?
You can adjust the station ringing volume on the intercom itself (log into the station over web > configuration > video/audio > audio tab). If your using a station, you can adjust the ring volume on there as well (which is the stations internal speaker volume)

What’s that noise it makes after you answer it? Is it just feedback because they’re so close together or will it make that noise when it’s installed? There’s no way I could tolerate that noise with my ear issues!

There is a sd card but it stores only pictures from who rang the bell. It stores no video or movement detection although there a page for detection.

In vdp DS-kV6113-WPE1 there is a terminal AIN1 and GRD, with 5v in open condition, to connect door sensor alarm, after connecting a reed swtich door sensor, where to configure alarm, whether alarm will display in Monitor DS-KH6320-WTE1 or in Hikiconnect phone. I have connected a magnetic reed contact on the terminal but no alarm aprears anywhere. Please help

It may work with rj45 to hdmi adspter into a standard led monitor? This would make it a standalone doorbell...Anyone tested?
It can be standalone to an extent if you use it with sip which is what I have done. I agree that its a fantastic door bell and it would have been cherry on top if it was standalone
How did you manage that? I set it to SIP and used freepbx. I can get a sip client to ring when pressing the call button on the bank but it won't connect to the call

I even managed to change the call tone on the door station to a "normal doorbell sound" rather than a phone ringing sound. I set the call button to ring a call group and I set the ringtone (alert info) to ringtone six which is a door bell sound

I do have the ds-kd8003-ime1 model instead of this doorbell but it's a similar new hikvision model so that shouldn't matter
How far will cat6 cable run from a poe switch to the door station without compromising the video/call quality?
It's been my experience with PoE as long as you use solid copper core cable then a max of 328 ft but there's variables like temperature and UV exposure and UTP vs STP.

Thanks for the tip about another bell, but I am looking for something more robust and resistant ... and unfortunately all video intercoms compatible with google home are very small and apparently fragile!

Just bought the KV 6113 doorbell and upgraded the firmware. However, I'm losing video after a couple of hours. So when someone calls or when I try to view live view though the app, I have no video. It keeps getting stuck loading around 80%. I googled and see a lot of people have this issue. Is there a fix to this?

It only has 1 relay. Some of the other Hikvision intercom door stations have 2 relays

This can get a bit technical, I suggest consulting a gate installer - it's all ELV, so shouldn't need an electrician

I have problem with two DS-KV6113-WPE1 door station (one is main another is sub) and one DS-KH6320-WTE1/EU indoor station. From time to time sub door station get lost. No matter what outdoor unit I choose to be sub (tried switching them) I always loose sub unit. Tried every combination I could think of (settings, firmware, changing PoE switch...) and seem to be out of ideas. Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Not from the door station. You can from the screen as the screen has a relay output which triggers when the screen rings
Is it possible for the intercom to automatically record the call duration when the intercom ring button is pressed? I can only find settings to 'manually' record via the web browser log in. It would be nice to be able to save recorded video when the doorbell button is pressed (I know it automatically does a screen capture) **I'll be hooking this up to my NVR** TIA.

I had one the seemed to power up then fail, next was doa, next got installed and seemed to work come back later dead. Was not pleased

jako265 I uninstalled IVMS 4200 and re installed it and then it came up. But I couldn’t get it to read the card, the company I bought it from said it’s not a mifare card that comes with it
The card in the box is mifare. It's temperamental. I've managed to use ivms to add cards at some sites and the same door station, when I connected it to a different pc and ran ivms, it didn't work. It does work if you use the webpage but you can't wait the card once you've added it
