It shouldn't even be possible to share a medal.
You may call him stupid all you want, but they aren't competing against the system, to attempt to get as many golds as possible. They are competing against the world, to demostrate they are the best. Y'all don't understand the competitive spirit and mistake it for arrogance or bad sportsmanship.

How is he stupid? Did you miss the part that the guy who won wanted to do the jump off? They have to agree to not do it, so even if the silver medalist wanted to share, he wouldn't have been able to.
