I started watching you about 7 months ago. And since watching you, I've slowly gotten over my fear of spiders. I had one on me the other day and I used to freak out. But instead I got it on a leaf and let it go. That was huge for me and it's because of you and your channel!! Thanks for that!!! I'm actually thinking of getting a tarantula for my hubby now!

I wish I was at that point. Unfortunately I’ve had bad experiences with other insects that any time I see something move near me or on me I freak out and automatically swipe or slap it without a thought. I just react, which typically scares the crap out of anyone near me lol.
But since watching this channel, I’ve gotten to a point where I can look at spiders and not freak out. I use to have to build myself up but now I don’t need too.

After watching your videos this past year I decided to get a tarantula. It's a curly hair and it is so calm and curious. I never thought I would own a tarantula in my life lmao.
Rehousing T's is always good fun. At least they were all acting good, and no bolters this time. All look good in their new homes ☺️

Rehousing is my fave! LOL Honestly, I love watching an enclosure build and rehouse. It's kinda funny, 'cause I'm scared of spiders, but I always wonder if they like the new digs and hope they do ;0)

Hi Kat! I always love your rehousings. Sometimes you say you're nervous about them but you always seem to get it done with minimum drama. I was on another thread today where people were recommending you as a good source for jumping spider information. Pretty cool stuff. Question, which you may laugh at- why not put tarantulas into a home where they can max out on size, instead of rehousing them?
From what I understand, tarantulas feel stressed and unsafe in large spaces. So they don't thrive with excess space.

Do you ever worry you’re going to run out of space? It’s a random question but having that many spiders and considering how large setups can be, it’s just a curious question. I literally don’t know where I’d put everyone if I had that many spiders lol.

Like other followers i love watching you build the enclosures it's very relaxing. It must make you feel so great when the T or whatever walks into it's new home and just loves it. I appreciate all I am learning from you and Dave! Do you have any special ways to keep the acrylic clean? Dave has a very interesting system but it's basically just water and paper towel. Although maybe the acrylic doesn't get smudgy like glass. Also, I cannot for the life of me get what you mean when they are kicking their fur or hair. I must be blind or not know what I am looking for, can you please explain? (for a poor newbie like myself LOL)
