I hope it gets warmer! Right now, it is tough so it's going to be hard to hook into a few. I fish with swimbaits as well, in the summer i use more topwater baits but swimbaits are a good year-long bait depending on how you retrieve it (slow retrieve in winter, fast in the summer)
I’ve actually went to oak mountain a lot as a kid but could never really catch any bass, what part of oak mountain did you guys fish at? There’s a lot of different places, I used to normally fish around a beach part, is the certain lake you guys went to called lunker lake or something else
The lake with the beach area is called double oak lake. The lake we fished is lunker lake. lunker lake is at very very end of the park if you go from the main entrance to the very back. It will be the lake on the right, above the damn before you leave through the back entrance of the park. If you come from the back entrance it will be the very first lake you see on the left. Oak mountain actually has other lakes that are better than double oak (In my opinion), beaver lake is another good one. It’s the lake below the damn at the bottom, the very first one u see on the right when you come from the back entrance. I hope this helps!
@@adamjusino7308 this definitely helped thanks a lot I will definitely check lunker lake out for sure next time I go really appreciate it, I’ll be sure to smash that sub button my friend
I loved the sunset! Very beautiful.
Ayee I’m heading there tomorrow morning when I get off. It’s one of my favorite smaller lakes for big bass and there’s some real big girls in there.
Oh yeah there is! Goodluck!
@@adamjusino7308 thank you and to you too next time you go fishing
I liked the under water footage of the baits in the end. Looked cool!
What do yall do with those fish??
We do catch-and-release fishing. All the fish were returned back to the lake unharmed.
Both are good at fishing👍
great video!
Hoping i can hook into a few from there in a few weeks. Glad i was able to see this. Do you fish many swimbaits there?

How much does it cost to fish there?
It’s $5 to get into the park. You can use all of its amenities, trails, parks, lakes, etc.
Can you bank fish there
Yes! Every time I go, I see a lot of people fishing from the shoreline.
Winner winner chicken dinner! 🐟
