- Nowhere better than Florida in February. My and young Hunter @hpsfishing came down to fish Headwaters for a little while. By far one of my favorite lakes I've ever fished. This is day 1 and 2 of the trip.

Nice, 7 pounder. I met you a few days ago at the headwaters ramp driving the silver tundra. Nice to meet you. I’ve fished that lake a few days this week and caught tons of fish but no big ones yet. Nice to see you catching a big one it give me some confidence. Maybe I’ll run into you again this week. Looking forward to the next Florida videos.

First time trying a small community lake. Caught a decent Bass on first cast. I thought, Oh Boy! Spent another 2 hrs there without a bite! LOL

Thanks for the note! It’s been relatively tough as far as size goes the last 8-9 days. Catching about 20/day but nothing over 4.
We matched those numbers on Thursday and Friday. Our best lures were a Strike King KVD 1.5 wake bait fished over the flats in the north west. I got 7 in less than an hour doing that Friday AM. Our best was a 7.5 lb caught on a spro KGB chad shad fished along the former canal that runs along the berm that separates StickMarsh from Headwaters. I'm looking forward to the rest of your videos from the lakes in the area. Did you fish Garcia, Kennansville, Stickmarsh/farm 13 or Three forks?@@SBFishing

Ahh we were jokin around. I have seen him post in the Fb group and looks like he stays on em. And I see he throws glides out there and catches em!
@@SBFishing lol i got ya was jus razzin ya but ya you should hook up with him... he is the one who takes out mike from bullshad (who recently moved to florida) and they tune the new baits and dobyns cullshad rods
...cool ass dood and he lets ya do what ya want just wanted to show him love but if ya wana learn headwaters Kenny Hass is #1 by a mile thats who Roland calls lol
Kenny’s partner Dan has put me on two 10s, and multiple 8s and 9s. It’s definitely worth hooking up with those two. We were outside of the tackle shop in town when Roland came up and asked Dan where the bite was 😂

How is it running that lake? That one is on my list to definitely hit at some point.
Probably one of my favorite lakes. I’m pretty sure the water is up a bit, but I’ve had no issues running it. Just take your time, go slow in areas you have not been.

I worked with them for 6 months and we parted ways. Still use their rods, no bad blood whatsoever just a short contract. Got a pretty massive one in the works though...fingers crossed cause I'm STOKED. @@c.shoefish
