I have the DJI om6 it's absolutely brilliant...I use my new Samsung galaxy s23 phone.. when the 2 connect on Bluetooth...The zooming is the best I have ever had ...I do recommend the DJI om6..I haven't made any UA-cam videos yet..but I have been practicing...Am very happy...the stabiliser is brilliant...good video

I would go for the Hohem iSteady M6 if I do a lot of professionall videography. But I do that VERY rarely and would mostly go ahead with the DJI Osmo Mobile 6.

I originally bought the Hohem for it’s wider range of motion, but no matter what settings I tried and phone balance adjustments made, it never seemed to keep the horizon level. It was “good enough” for fun stuff but I need a gimbal for real estate video reels and shorts. Ended up digging out my old DJI Osmo 4 which actually worked perfectly! Is the 6 just as good as the 4? Don’t know, but from experience I’ll go with DJI.

All of these gimbals will be landfill in a couple of years thanks to their non replaceable batteries, alongside my Zhiyun M2. Thus the cheapest one would be the wisest choice. For me, I’ll be purchasing DJI’s OM SE, which is a about 25% cheaper than the 6. Great review BTW.

Nice presentation, I use a vizu stabilizer but with the Gimbal Pro 2 application you can only choose the 1080pHD option and not 4K on the phone. Do you know a Bluetooth app that works for Vizu that has a 4K option?

I went dji osmo 6 in 2024. I have a s21 ultra samsung. Works good but i think i need counter weight and deffa microphone. Only now i reliase its made for i phone basically because with android your limited to 30fps

Id go for an action cam like dji osmo action or gopro cause you attach it to a stick via a thread, that is the safetest but won’t have mobility of angles, but since the action cams are super wide that counters it

Another fantastic video!! I just used my Smooth 5s yesterday on a hike. Had some issues which were user error, but once I got zeroed it. WOW!! I love this gimbal!!! The only two gripes I have is the zoom wheel didn’t seem to work on the StaCam app. And on ZY cami app you have to be superrrr careful not to single click the trigger while recording. If you do the tracking freezes your video briefly and now your audio/video are horribly out of sync. Hopefully this gets fixed someday.
This video and all of your comments are so helpful for a newtuber. I've just been using my phone and am looking into my first gimbal for those low shots when filming an artifact. The battery life is very important to me as we can be out for 6 or so hours and I will likely be filming a lot just to learn. Really appreciate all of you for your input.

Hi i need your best advice, i want to make training videos of my dog so i need it to track my dog. Wasn't too record in 60fps ideally. I use an android phone. Need a good tracker so if target is out of site and reappears it locks straight back on. I'd be recording in landscape mode. Do any of the gimbal tracking do have 360 rotation? Great video! Thoughts: 1.) Zhiyun has best stabilization. The others are bad enough to wonder why you would buy them in comparison. 2.) All "Fill light" features are useless garbage that raised the MSRP. 3.) For me I'm looking upstream to bigger gimbals since my rode wireless go cant mount and audio is the most important part of video (on youtube)

The question I have is related to the apps. All of these are made in China correct? Any recommendations on the gimbal with the least amount of information collected by their apps? Hohem sounds appealing if you don't even need an app, but I have heard good things about DJI overall.

For that you dont need a gimbal... just buy a selfie stick with tripod or quadpod base. There are so many on ali express of different qualities, length and features.. . they come with wireless remote click options and some can extend over 2 meter in height as well ..

I just got a 15pro max and I will use it for vertical video for facebook etc...for everything else I will continue to use my Sony FX30....I may attach a Samsung SSD to the 15pro max case to record apple pro res externally or maybe I will use a USB thumb drive instead...now I have an older Osmo mobile 3 (ancient!)..I wonder how much better the Osmo 6 or the Insta are compared to the Osmo 3? But I realize that the iphone 15 pro max with a SSD may be too heavy for the OM3... Thanks for the video

These are just for phones. If you want a DSLR/phone gimbal, look at the Zhiyun Crane M2S or M3.

The question I have is related to the apps. All of these are made in China correct? Any recommendations on the gimbal with the least amount of information collected by their apps? Hohem sounds appealing if you don't even need an app, but I have heard good things about DJI overall.

I've watched a ton os videos and as a begginer don't know exactly what to do. I want some gear to make my first travel alone easier, so I tought about a gimbel to use to take selfie sticks and also as a tripod to make full body shots of myself without having to ask anyone to take it, so, taking all this in consideration what model would you choose? For that you dont need a gimbal... just buy a selfie stick with tripod or quadpod base. There are so many on ali express of different qualities, length and features.. . they come with wireless remote click options and some can extend over 2 meter in height as well ..

fantastic video! I just got a 15pro max and I will use it for vertical video for facebook etc...for everything else I will continue to use my Sony FX30....I may attach a Samsung SSD to the 15pro max case to record apple pro res externally or maybe I will use a USB thumb drive instead...now I have an older Osmo mobile 3 (ancient!)..I wonder how much better the Osmo 6 or the Insta are compared to the Osmo 3? But I realize that the iphone 15 pro max with a SSD may be too heavy for the OM3...
