This was such an informative video (together with your video on your top five things to do in Reykjavík) . Made so many notes for our own trip in summer ‘23! Thanks guys.
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy your trip! Just be aware that if you are going in July-August, it will be significantly more crowded than when we filmed this video in June.
Haha, you're not going to believe this, but our channel is exclusively filmed with our iPhones (aside from the drone shots and underwater GoPro shots). Handy and easier to carry. The picture quality is not as good as with a camera, but good enough for what we do :).
@@JamesandLaurent I do believe it. That’s all I use for my channel, but Im not traveling like you. Ill be in Iceland 7/20, now Im only bringing my iPhone. Using any special apps? I use Filmic Pro mostly for video. Thanks.
We love New Zealand and have been there many times. But Iceland has something special. And Iceland is a lot more convenient for travelers in Europe and North America.
You can because they are all around the main ring road. But days will be extremely short (as little as 5 hours of day and 19 hours of night in December), which means a lot of driving at night and very little time to see all these sights.
This is amazing ! i will be there in january 15 .I can't wait, and want to get there soon after seeing your amazing video. Thanks so much for sharing Dear Friend.
Iceland is one of my favorite countries. It is incredibly beautiful, extremely gracious people, and the entire country is as clean as can be. However,it ~is~ expensive. I strongly recommend going to the interior of the island, which requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
June is the best as it is before the high season and days last almost 24 hours. October is fine too, but days will be much shorter and the weather will be gloomy.
What the "Great Ring Road" videos ignore is the left-out part of Iceland: The West Fjords! Personally I am relieved. I live there and actually LIKE not being swamped with tourists.
Really, James and Laurent? You couldn't learn how to pronounce five Icelandic names? What is the point of your video if you create a barrier between what is, and what you as a foreigner would like for things to be? Your video is the opposite of immersion. 'Don't mix, don't mingle, don't learn to pronounce'. I wonder if you learned "hello" and "thank you" in Icelandic. If you maintain a barrier, your viewers will feel the barrier.

This is what I call “the perfect video” ❤ thank you so much guys
Our pleasure! Enjoy your trip :)
What a wonderful video! All must see highlights of the Iceland holiday which I am planning for June 2023!
Have fun!
how was your trip =D
Great to see some suggestions that are not ‘the usual suspects’. Thank you for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
Really great video! I took notes and am heading there on Sunday.
Hope you enjoy it!

Nope. Just normal iPhone.
@@JamesandLaurent Awesome.
super cool and helpful video! thank you guys 💕
Glad you liked it!! We hope you enjoy your trip.
New Zealand has everything that Iceland has and more, plus a much warmer climate!

Excellent vdo. May I observe and experience all these natural wonders if I go during Northern Lights hunting time in Winter - November or March ?

Whales are so cool and I love the glaciers
We do too! And you can see both in one trip!
Great video, this was very helpful, I made a list of the places and will see each one when I visit in June.

Thanks for your advice.
At the glacier lake, book a kayak tour instead, so peaceful.
We visited 9 of those 10, pleased you didn't put the plane in.
Kayak was too much work for us :)
Excelente conteúdo digital!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks. We appreciate it.
I will go to Iceland as soon as I can
We hope you get the opportunity to :)
Thank you for all your advice!
You are so welcome! We hope you enjoy your time in Iceland.
Hi. Which month have you visited? Can we go in mid October?
June is the best as it is before the high season and days last almost 24 hours. October is fine too, but days will be much shorter and the weather will be gloomy.
Can’t wait!
Thanks. We don't like to brag. But this is probably our best video to date :).
Great video!! Which month did you guys visit Iceland?
June. Best time of the year, we think. Longest days. Not yet as crowded as July and August.
Great vid, thanks for posting
Glad you enjoyed it
Superb - thanks

Haven't been there for 25 years :)
Que top.😂❤
Thanks. We appreciate it.
V nice video
Thank you so much 😀
Can you recommend hotel/hostel to stay at Iceland?
What is your budget? Unfortunately, hotels in Iceland are expensive and the luxury and service quality don't always match the high price.
@@JamesandLaurent 100$/per night two people
That will be low. Most hotels were around $200/night, and we were there during the off-season.
Top
Thanks. We appreciate it.

😍😍😍.
It's a very unique place, indeed.
Too expensive, though...
How you doin', guys?
Very expensive indeed. We are doing good. Very relaxed after the trip.
❤❤
❤❤ you too 😁.
Saw this on UA-cam
That makes sense :)
Team Iceland or team New Zealand if you could only pick one?
We think we like New Zealand's South Island better, but Iceland is so close and so easy to get to that we'll definitely be back.
I live in NZ and prefer Iceland
Bommm
Thanks. We appreciate it.
