We depart later this week and I am saddened😢because it has been an absolutely amazing vacation (the land (glaciers, waterfalls, black sand beaches, glacier hikes, lagoons, volcanoes, continental divide, geysers,) the people, the exceptional customer service, the food (especially Icelandic Lamb) the whales and puffins, and Icelandic Horses have made this a vacation of a lifetime. Iceland 🇮🇸truly is a place where one can experience the beauty and extreme power of a nature. Thanks again for providing such great content.
PS…I fell in love with the Sky Lagoon so much that I would love to return before leaving. I didn’t try Blue Lagoon though. Should we try Blue Lagoon before leaving?

@@Antman94b no problem ask away. We love mirrorless cameras. I shoot with an older canon which is the RP. Of the 2 i would recommend the r50

The question i've not found an answer to anywhere on UA-cam or anywhere "is there like trains or busses to head to different places much further away my hotel from reykjavik?".

In the lagoons they were very warm around 100F so perfect to relax!
AMAZING Video!!! So informational and well-paced. Would we still enjoy it if we decide not to rent a car? We'd still try to participate in any tours offered.
Honestly you can do it without the rental car but it will be a lot more expensive and also a lot more limiting
First day of summer isn't really summer in Iceland 😅 - Summer is June-July-August. If you are lucky then May and September are usually pretty decent as well.
I can see on the videos that summer has not started, the grass is still not green which is perhaps the best indication to see if summer has arrived or not 😉

It all depends on the cards that you use. We have a card with no foreign transaction fees so it was no problem

I have t mobile so i can use my phone abroad. However, for most USA companies the roaming charges are very high
