    After watching your skin journey throughout the years with all the treatments you've done this is the most dramatic difference I've seen!!! Your skin has improved so much over the years and it's looking SO GOOD!!

    Hey Nikki! I'm an esthetician and I thought you should know about a new treatment for indents in the skin. There is a new filler that stimulates collagen and over time would permanently fill in the marks. You should talk to your derm about it

      bellafil. It is still new but promising for certain types of acne scar. I'm a medical aesthetician, not a MD so I would of course advise going to a doctor to ask about this.

    I've been peeling people for almost 8 years and never has anyone become light headed. Not before, during, after or days later lol Strange how common it is 💁🏻 And I wouldn't recommend using aquaphor. It causes white heads, expecially if your acne prone. A medium to heavy moisturizer is sufficient. Also using an HA serum first then moisturizing helps tremendously.
    Also, with jesters you can get a peel every 3-4 weeks depending on how many layers/desired outcome/etc. I noticed a difference in your skin, get a series of them and you'll see really good improvements!!

      Jonathon Patrick how much do you charge Jonathan?

    • @src3360

      Linag33 depends... anywhere from 65 to 100$

    • @Linag33
      @Linag33 8 років тому +1

      Jonathon Patrick she said she paid $375 that sounds so steep right? I mean I get going to someone that is a professional but for a peel it's to much.

    • @src3360
      @src3360 8 років тому +1

      Linag33 Well dam, that's kinda ridiculous for a jessner. But hey, if she thought it was worth it then that's all that matters. Perception is reality

    Vitamine E and Rosehip oil works WONDERS! I also had really bad pit scarring on my cheeks from acne. I would mix the rosehip oil mixed with the sticky vitamin E gel and after less than a year my skin looked amazing! My hyperpigmentation was gone and the small indents in my face were definitely not as noticeably. Because I have super sensitive skin my dermatologist doesn't want me getting chemical peels so that routine was my alternative.

    • @keltoumsaidi5066
      @keltoumsaidi5066 8 років тому

      i would like to try that too i have a hyperpigmentation :( i tried so muck things and nothhing Works for me :( i have a very sensitive skin (oily skin) is that gonna work for me 2?

    • @sophiet1467
      @sophiet1467 8 років тому

      Hey for your routine with Vitamine E and Rosehip oil, how and when would you use them? for example would you apply and leave on overnight? thanks :)

    • @Carla-de2sz
      @Carla-de2sz 8 років тому

      Keltoum Saidi I would say only use at night, not in my morning cause it could be too much

    • @Carla-de2sz
      @Carla-de2sz 8 років тому

      sophie thibert I would use vitamin E oil only at night cause the only I had was sticky, but I would use the rose hip oil morning and night. I would use it as a serum, after moisturizing. I would PRESS the vitamin E on the places I needed it and apply the rose oil everywhere and especially where the E was cause it was sticky. TRY NOT TO TOUCH YOUR FACE. It takes a while to soak in

    I did the Jessner peel at home. I ordered it thru "the skin peel shop" I loved doing it at home and I was surprised that the lady you went to didn't first apply it the same way that I was directed to by the instructions. Mine came with a first step primer, then day 2 the peel, then 3 days the last step (neutralizer I guess) My results were amazing. So if anyone out there wants to do it go online bc it's way cheaper and easy also. The end result was amazing! OH and FYI the white layer around your mouth etc is called "frost" and it shows the peel is working right. If there isn't frost the peel isn't working right

      BreezyRenee333 if you trust the place u go then go for it but it has effective results and those kind of peels are usually for people who is fighting w acne or acne scars

    • @EhIDONTCARE
      @EhIDONTCARE 8 років тому +30

      BreezyRenee333 Thats exactly what happened. It chemically burns off the top old layer of skin leaving fresh new skin behind. It just speeds up the shedding process and theres nothing unsafe as long as you follow the directions properly

    • @devon.pfeifer
      @devon.pfeifer 8 років тому +9

      No, there are different degrees of peels. A good majority of peels cannot be left on the skin. They need to be neutralized, usually by a solution of sodium bicarbonate and water. A jessner's peel is a more aggressive peel, and is usually what causes this type of reaction. Superficial peels are quite different, as far as what you look like during the healing process.

    Omg i just came by your vlog of you getting a chemical peel on your UA-cam account. I am now an official subscriber for the first time and you are my very first. You are such an inspiration.
    I have also lived with problem sensitive skin stemming from dermatitis. Im constantly on antibiotics to keep my acne at ease but it still never stops, and the scarring is the worst.
    I'm so ashamed of all the red spots and holes left in my face and now watching some of your videos have given me hope to one day have beautiful skin.
    Im only from a casual small town in New Zealand and i can't imagine what the cost of getting one of these chemical peels will cost but it is now my mission to get one. After Christmas is done, I'll be ringing around to get different prices and see who is the cheapest and start my saving. Though it may take me months to save, as I'm on a tight bugdet will be putting $2 away a week to get what i think will finally help me refresh my skin, my self-esteem and my soul. Thank you for being such a beautiful inspiration and i very much look forward to watching so many more of your videos :) xx

    It would've been more comfortable if you're aesthetician gave you a post care kit. Just for the peeling and itching. Usually you would use 5-7 days until your skin is healed. I highly recommend chemical peel for any skin concerns. It can drastically change your skin texture. And btw you're skin looks amazing!

    Hi Nikki! I was just wondering what you think was the most effective regarding your cystic acne. I never used to have and all of a sudden this past year I've been having raging cysts all over my chin and mouth area. what do you think is the most effective? and also do you think it's worth it for me to go to an esthetician instead of a dermatologist? Idk if u already have a video about it but if you don't I would be so interested in hearing your final thoughts about how you got over your cystic acne and what you think was the best thing that helped it.

      oh also I have super sensitive skin so I'm terrified about trying chemical peels and everything. I can't even use salicylic acid bc I get chemical burns from it.

    At 11:40 you said you were getting Microblading done and that’s a brow tattoo treatment. I believe you were talking about dermaplaning where they remove dead skin with a scalpel type tool and it also helps removes vellus hairs on your face.

    How were the results as far as the freckles and sun damage on your face? My friend told me chemical peels are a good way to get rid of them

    Does this work for hyper pigmentation due to acne as well? I don't have the uneven texture, just the spots from it.

    thank u soo much.. I've been wanting to get a chemical peel for so long, definitely will b getting it. i had 4 laser treatments done for the nastiest acne i got about 2 yrs ago. it helped me alot but i still have some acne scars and alot of people have recommended chemical peel but i wasn't sure if it works. ur skin looks amazing!

    Why were you only allowed to use cteaphil? And aquaphor? I've struggled with cystic acne since I was in 4th grade! I'm now 24 years old with so many scars and for some reason, now I have acne on my neck. Wish I had the money and time to go through a peel and other treatments. Do you have any recommendations for any scan care products or vitamins? Really enjoyed this video and I loved the results!(:

    Haha omg we are the same person in terms of skin!! I've done 3 chemical peels, dermaplane, facials, and every prescription med under the sun. I'm definitely probably going to try microneedling next! For me, after the 3 peels, my complexion was definitely a lot more even, and definitely sped up any acne still trying to heal itself!
