D DAY - Makeover - ( Military Battle Group ).

Ron Sindric from Iowa, suggested a D Day Special make over to acknowledge those who stormed the beaches of Normandy in the name of world peace. I had thought of doing up some of my military models on mass as a 'Battle Group' but was too scared to take up the challenge of a multiple makeover.
Ron made my mind up for me. The time was right, the 75th anniversary of D Day was this week and so I thought it was a great opportunity to go the extra yard and get this video out. I had two days off work because I pulled a calve muscle so I had the time to make this my best ever makeover! - I hope you like it!! - Thanks Ron!

Your posts are ALWAYS informative and of high quality.
But, I am thinking about something else today.
Seventy-five years ago on 06 June the combined Allied Forces stormed the Nazi bastions in France at Normandy.
In this Force there were approximately 2000 - 2500 pilots and support personnel of the RAAF flying with RAF units.
There were approximately 500 sailors of the RAN and several officers serving with British army units.
These people contributed to one of the largest battles in history. Would you consider honoring them in your
up-coming post 06 June of this year ?
