Just doing the same model. The replacement bonnet was a nightmare to get to fit correctly.and took a lot of delicate filing to make it satisfactory. Enjoyed watching your struggles!!! Fortunately it did not have the poor finish yours did and looks ok
Nice press molding. A tip. Put just a little enamel paint in the resin. Not much. For a casting like in this vid, about 10 drops will work. It will slow down that kick off. It will add minutes to your set time. Also adds time to your demolding. But you still get hard resin castings. I've been casting resin since the 90's. Great vid. Keep up the good work.
