I think it's a big mistake to just give this to Kamile Harris. She might be okay, but I not giving the peope input is a mistake.

The least chaotic way is for Biden to end his campaign, and chooses Harris as the presidential candidate. They can then pick a VP per usual (behind closed doors). This effectively prevents the existing delegates from changing anything, and no candidate campaigns are necessary. Of course, the new ticket will still have to campaign successfully against Trump
Biden should give a great speech before 8pm, or open the floor up to let the delegates decide a candidate including Kamala. I recommend RCV and think it would be great to highlight that it is on the ballot in three states this November, including a swing state. Tim Ryan seems partial to the idea.

Everyone knew that Hillary wasn't a good choice and because of 'everything she did' we lost several supreme court positions, Roe v. Wade etc.. Politics isn't about banking social capital and good will, unfortunately. Are we really going to gamble again?
