I absolutely love this car. My uncle brought one home a month a ago. He got it off auction to resell but the person who was about to buy it didn’t so now it’s just chilling next door at my uncles. The best part is that I can take it for a spin whenever I want. Every time I step on the gas, it makes me soo happy!
Fellow owner here. Sounds pretty good to me. I've never heard the S62 uncorked in person, but the nature of what you have in the SS exhaust fits the car. I really like it! Eisenmann stuff, for example, sounds great too, but I wouldn't want the car shouting at me all the time. And if you're spinning in fourth, get some better tires. I had Pilot supersports, right now have Continental extreme contacts, and I can't recommend them more. 2nd gear, 4k rpm, drop the throttle, and it just hooks with zero spin.
Thanks for your comment! I agree about the tires. I have Dunlops on the car that have a ton of tread that the previous owner installed, so I can't justify buying new tires at the moment. I had Pilot Super Sports on the M3 and then when they got low I picked up Michelin A/S 3+ because I drive my car year round. With regards to the exhaust- it does sound good, but keep in mind that the mic was on the trunk. It's significantly quieter than the muffler delete I had previously. I will be posting an update soon - new parts arrived yesterday!
The M3 drives more like a go kart and the M5 drives like an insanely powerful luxury sedan. However, I find myself driving the M3 more because it is not as rare, special, nor as valuable as the M5. The M3 is shockingly practical and I’ve been able to fit my child’s car seat in the back. Also, the parts availability on the M5 is becoming an issue and I have collectors insurance on the M5 limiting my mileage. With all of that said, the M5 is ridiculously fun and gets a lot more attention. The best way to put it…they’re very different cars and if I liked one a lot more than the other I wouldn’t still have both :)
First, you will have to break it in, which takes a long time, or some miles, a lot of miles, and remember it’s like a musical instrument, it’s take TIME !
Did you get some discount for getting the whole exhaust from supersprint ? Haven't you considered to go the route evolve medusa headers & Eisenmann Race mufflers ?
Out of the box, Supersprint mufflers are no louder than stock cans given the rest of the system is OE. Mine had more of a boomy sound at low RPM and no more sound than stock at high RPM. Overall not worth replacing the stock cans. Probably need to go the header route too. I think your car with the resonated x pipe sounds perfect!
Try the Rogue resonated X-pipe if the Supersprint non-resonated is too loud. My Tubi system has even bigger resonators in the x-pipe, and it behaves the same way as the resonated Supersprint. I think the Rogue X is a great balance.

Love it ! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You should give the mufflers some time to break in.
I’d love to hear from your perspective, the difference in driving experience between your M5 and M3. Which do you prefer to drive around town and why?

Nice. But personnally speaking, i prefer with mufflers delete.
Dude, use a selfie stick. No one wants to see anyone else's face THAT UP CLOSE. It's creepy.
