Will Wilde. Exemplary harmonica demonstration. With the expansion to all keys of 1847 Seydel Will Wilde tunings, harmonica perimeters have just experienced another "Big Bang." Then the additional Wild "pedal" to the metal makes a very cool ticket to ride.

I love playing with switching harps but it's always on a knife edge. One slip, particularly wrt the one you are picking up and it's 😮

Fucking awesome! Lately I've REALLY been thinking hard about making a metal band that leans hard into delta blues/boogie woogie with the lead guitar/harmonica sharing the lead spot. I think it'd be absolutely awesome.

Definitely gonna get a harp and learn, i play guitar and love all music. You're playing is amazing. Do Big Mouth by Underworld, harmonica works well with EDM as much as it does rock. I thought there might be at least one version of it on UA-cam but sadly not.
I've played on a few EDM tracks, check out 'Do Si Do' by Diplo that's me on the harp.

Will. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the Wilde Tunings of the 1847, and what key(s) or notes would be played to replace a richter/ standard tuned harp. I'm understanding it slowly with the help of your other videos.
My questions: For Canned Heat's 'On The Road Again '. Since the "minor 3rd on standard tuning is 6 OB", and " on Wilde Tuning its a 1/2 step draw note on hole 7". But What 1847 model Key ?
Also Big Walter Hortons. 'Walter's Boogie.' Song key of E, 2nd position, I use an A key standard tuning. However, what harp key would I use in 1847 Wilde Tunning ?
Lastly, is there a 1847 Wilde Tunning chart that outlines the note layouts for all 12 keys ?
This is where I get turned around- what 1847 Wilde Tuned key(s) do I use to replace a standard tuned harp for a specific song, so I play the proper notes, but in Wilde Tunning.
I've always been a big Seydel 1847 fan and really want to get this knowledge down, so I can make a jump to your Tunings.

You use the same key Wilde Tuned harp as you would use Richter. For example C harp plays G in second position.

@alleycat-145 the 'Wilde-Minor' harps are labelled in the second position key (same as Seydel's Nat. Minor harps). But the regular 'Wilde-Tuned' harps are labelled in the first position key just like Richter harps.
im not sure i understand completely, are these all seydel 1847 that you custom tuned for lower octaves? all of the harps in the jam were custom tuned that way? (sound awesome btw, great job)
Thank you. No, the upper register (holes 6 to 10) is configured differently to Richter, in a way that allows you to bend all the draw notes.
