@@greg7656 When the audio input waveform is so large, it's amplitude can't be handled, either by the transducer or the pre-amp. The peaks of that waveform, therefore, are "clipped," or cut off. Clipping the mic is, in truth, never desirable, but I personally don't mind it. Clipping is, however, highly sought after in fuzz pedals, go figure, LoL

Oh man, from Iron Man through STP and finishing with Van Halen. This is where Mr. Lemmo digs in and finds his happy place. The best part for me, with no disrespect meant was the finish, if only to hear Michael and Jen talk like they're still trying to speak over the volume of he amp,...priceless and completely worth my own tinnitus, having cranked this through my old Wharfedales at home!!! Well done guys!!!

How about "Amp of the day show"? I'd love to see demos of vintage amps. Don't underestimate what's on the other end of the cable!
Good guitar and effects with cheap amp is better than great amp with cheap guitar though

I was a sophomore in HS in 1973. Those were the days. 74 and75 were even better.
your mic is too hot.. you guys have to get a better recording setup, do justice to the guitar mastery on display.
@Strat TelePaul I'm not hating on them, they are great, but a few of the clips lately sound like they were dunked in the deep fryer

Accurate. Frankly they've never cared about that aspect which I find odd.
Pony up for a properly recorded sound. Mark was just lazy and never did it
should just go through a sound interface into a laptop and edit the sound onto the video might take a tad longer but the sound will be a good recording worthy of the guitars and playing
'we're all deaf here!' tbh if it sounded like that with a clipping camera mic, mmust've sounded absoultely crushing in person!

Was in Tarzana today from Chicago visiting family, it was a pleasure to meet Norman, and everyone else who was there. It was great to get a pic with these guys with the guitar in the background, then see it on Normans channel a few hours later...
Glad the Mic was clipping. Fed up.with pristine vids on youtube of people playing in perfect conditions. Nice to hear something cranked and the player responding to the amp. Organic and real. Guitar was great. Amp was great. Lemmo was great! Hope the Marshall returns at some point.

First good modern guitar i played was a copy cat LPC from you guessed it, '73. Friend bought it new. i was 16.
This one,,,,not a fan of the creme coils but dig the switching.
Bonus points for STP. We covered Interstate way back and cheated, cowboy vs Robert DeLeo's tricky chords played by my co guitarist.

Love it BUT you got to either turn the camera more right getting the mic 90 degrees from the cab or even better lower the cameras sensitivity. Lower that gain it’s clipping like a mo fo. Can hear the quality of the gear better. Still rad through guys.
