I used to watch GOTD because of the guitars, now I watch it for Lemmo's playing.

Born at an earlier time Lemmo could have easily been a Page, Clapton or Beck.
I understand the significance of those old time names and respect that they inspired a lot of people to play guitar -but in my opinon Lemmo is more interesting to hear play. He's no "could have" - he is his own.

Bought my first(of many)guitars from there. Dave Z was my go-to guy.
"Hey, where's the Beef!?" He's on the couch playing the hell out of that 1979 Maui Blue Stratocaster! Awesome job as usual and that first song had me in a trance...could have listened to it for hours! Love the high energy from Jen as well as the cameo appearances from Pappa and sister Lemmo! Makes me want to spend a holiday at Chateau Lemmo!
I'd go as far as saying this was a GOTD for the ages, not just for Mike but the whole series. All of the songs were so well done you really impress me every time

I remember the first 2 videos of Lemmo that Norm's posted where he's playing with a bass player; those songs he played were incredible and I played those videos on a loop for days. Followed him on Norm's since & I'm very happy for the dude. So humble and genuine. He doesn't have the
"I'm too good to work at a guitar shop" vibe I can see so many cats who couldn't hold his jock have...just a very cool guy. Now that his personality is on display it's even a bigger kick to watch him play. All the best mate...

Love the shirt! Being a huge fan of big guitar bands(Zep,Sabbath,Maiden,Priest,etc)and an 80's guy, had a real sweet spot for classic synth rock. And, oh yeah, saw DM on the Violator tour, stunned by how good they are live, the songs still sound great.

This is awesome. I worked at a store called medley music in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania and I bet you visited there also LEMMO but Cinteolis I remember being a big deal with my manager Dom who worked there at some point.I think the gentleman who owned it was name Bernie unless I’m mistaken but yeah I worked in Philly for the better part of a decade doing live sound and of course selling live sound and musical instruments at madly so I always feel connected to my boy Lemmo!!! And big props to your family for all their support
