when i download the blender it downloads as "blender-2.93.1-windows-x64.msi " bur even after bringing some changes in the code that you had provided like he download link I'm unable to install it can you please suggest something🙌🙌
Hello, thank you so much for the video, but can you please let us know how to render a short animation ? I found another clip on UA-cam but the author was going so fast and just lost us, I like the way you explain things, I've managed to render images in PNG , but I have short animation that I would like to render in MP4 format, can you please help?
Hi. I will make a new video on rendering animations using colab and hopefully have it uploaded in the next week or so. 😀
I've released a part 2 to my video on rendering Blender files on Google Colab. ua-cam.com/video/eOxawEi5cNk/v-deo.html
you can actually render animation here just set up your blend file format as ffmpeg while it's container as mpeg-4 then set starting frame to colab to 1 and end frame to whatever your animation frame ends up.
!Help! I need to renderize with blender 2.93, but he told me "blender-2.93.0-linux-x64 command not found", What can i do?????!
If we want to render multiple files with single code?
Just copy and paste the last line of code and change the file name
@@MicroSingularity thanks i have also some few questions more will ask let me understand it first
any way to use luxcore with colab?
is this still valid, I tried and says permission denied.
I’ve made a few newer videos about google colab on my channel
Error: cannot read file () : No such file or directory
Please help
doesnt seem to work anymore sadly -> "Device does not support queues."
You just need to change OPTIX to CUDA in the last line of code
@@MicroSingularity I did that and it doesn't work with either sadly although it used to work with me. I have rendered over a 1000 frame with 1000 samples till now don't know what happened
hlo plz helppppppppp
I didn't understand the step the filename which directed to your google drive.
it constantly shows me nosuch directory found
this would be great if it wasn't for the fact that many of my projects are literally hundreds of GB in size thanks to that pesky fluid cache
1.) Your samples are just 40 in the blender but when rendering it shows 1600. how?
2.) your render in cola is rendering 100 samples per second while mine only renders 8-10 samples per second in colab.
Any idea why?
Lol mine actually took longer on Colab, 1.33 vs 1.22 with my GTX 980
dose google colab have any gpu limits?
Yes. Google doesn’t publish them though. You can upgrade to colab pro to improve usage limits I think.
when i run blender it says no such file or directory found and then blender quits. I have checked the file path can someone help?
Is there code for 2.93 ? Your code is 3.0
Sorry. I updated the tutorial here. It explains how to install a specific version ua-cam.com/video/A8FiCPUEv9Q/v-deo.html
can i close my laptop while working ?
Yes but it will stop after 90 minutes
Hi im having problems with the filename itkeeps on saying that it doenst read the file directory. How can i fix this?
Hello do you know how to render with a CPU ?
The servers are saturated and I no longer have access to gpu
Can I render with eevee by this method??
Not yet. I have another video about a service called Vagon which can.
is this process work for cpu device or not?
It does. But it’s much slower
Hiya I have a problem with blender version 3.0.0 Beta as of 28-10-2021. In google Colab Blender version is not working.
What is the error?
Have you tried changing OPTIX to CUDA in the last line of code?
@@MicroSingularity yup, scene is pretty small

Do you have an textures in your scene or complex simulation?
@@MicroSingularity Nope just good ol procedural texture with simple geometry
Does anybody know who to install a plugin like the blender animation nodes on to the runtime-instance? i would enjoy it, to render without make every instance of an object created by the animation nodes real. that would save me a lot of render- and setuptime and everythings stays procedual
Maybe its just a line of code.
It worked but the result is full of noise. So, What is the code for OPTIX denoising when rendering? I am strugging to find it.
The GPU you were randomly assigned didn’t have OPTIX and only supports CUDA
@@MicroSingularity Oh. Alright. Any idea on how to reduce the noise?
Maybe switch to intel open denoiser
@@MicroSingularity Thanks. Switching to Intel Open Denoiser worked like a charm. Amazing!
@@dreamyvisuals9181 can I know how you did this ? Even I am getting a noise.
Hi, I was following the tutorial but came across this message when tried to execute the last command - "src/tcmalloc.cc:283] Attempt to free invalid pointer 0x7fd14c02b000", if there anything I can do to fix it?
ua-cam.com/video/hMCE6-ddTdY/v-deo.html
@@MicroSingularity I also keep getting the "device doesnt support queues" ALTHOUGH I have changed OPTIX to CUDA. Is there any solution to this?
Can we render fluid and other types of simulations with this?
Yep. As long as the simulation is baked
Hi! If on my machine i have version 3.1.2 for windows, and on a tutorial is version for linux, wouldn`t it`s gonna affect the result? And would you still recommend the code from this tutorial or you have the newer one? Thx
Nope. Just download the equivalent Linux version.
How we can include back results if we have a fluid simulation, as there is no specific keyword for bake file path ?
i have intel hd graphics and now i am damn happy that i have it

if i use this gpu.py then render time increases alot ...useless..too much slow with tesla t4
very useful video, works nicely!! Could you please make a video explaining how to render multiple cameras?
Does this work with AMD GPUs? Thanks.
The rendering is done with Nvidia GPUs on colab but it doesn’t really matter whether you use AMD or Nvidia on your local PC.
@@MicroSingularity Thank you very much for the reply. Very good tut!
The GPU is limited Lt says l can't use at at the moment
It’s happened to me recently as well. It returns after a day or two
after how much time did lt happen to you?
Thanks a lot!...This method works very well...my render time reduced significantly😃
i getting error commond not found when i run the last code
pls help🙌🙌🙌

but i dont have cycle x I have Blender 2.93.1so can I use that code for cycle X
you are really a true artist knowing the value of time and curiosity thankyou soo m8uch for replying so fast and the main thing making this so amazing video
Thank you 😀
Hello my rendered images are saved at /tmp/0001.png. where can I find that folder in Google drive I have searched and failed. Collab is saving my renders at different location please help me🙏
That folder isn’t on google drive. It is saved to a temp folder on colab. ua-cam.com/video/eOxawEi5cNk/v-deo.html
My rendering is pretty slow even my pc is faster lol
what if i dont have any gpu on my machine
