Yes, the situation in the Middle East is pretty messed up, but at the very least, I can give Israel credit for humiliating their three closest neighbors, despite being the underdog. Not just in terms of military might, but also in terms of gathering information. I mean, knowing when the Egyptians pilots have breakfast is pretty damn impressive, if you ask me.

The results of the war and its relevance today are controversial, even in Israel. The ongoing control of the parts of Judea and Samaria which were captured in the war are a key issue in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as well as the closure of Gaza and the annexation of eastern Jerusalem. To a lesser degree, the annexation of the Golan Heights is also somewhat controversial, but I don't think as many people care remotely as much.

It’s highly commendable that you don’t avoid supposedly “controversial” topics ( nothing really controversial for anyone who knows proper history but anyway) and you have the balls to talk about them, that’s how it should be anyway. After all you deal with the military and not the political aspect of the stories. Well done!

They earned respect simply because of that.

Can we all just sit here and think about how brave the Israeli army was despite being surrounded by all sides they prevailed in the most dire situations like seriously love from America🇺🇸
Brave in surpise attacking Egyptians. Thats like calling Germans or Japanese in WW2 brave cause they surprise attacked nations while holding diplomatic talks
@@advisorynoticeme when I lie

Yes, the situation in the Middle East is pretty messed up, but at the very least, I can give Israel credit for humiliating their three closest neighbors, despite being the underdog. Not just in terms of military might, but also in terms of gathering information. I mean, knowing when the Egyptians pilots have breakfast is pretty damn impressive, if you ask me.
They were never the underdog, the Arab armies was " parade armies " armed with ww2 leftovers with idiots on their leadership, they was still using cavalry!!!
They Israeli on the other hand had ww2 veterans better equipment and the element of surprise, the Arabs didn't standed a chance
@@Pavlos_Charalambous israelis were using ww2 equipment as well, so they had the same gear, but israelis had better tactics and intellegence gathering then the opposing teams thus israel destoryed the egyptian air force in one day and used the air superiority until the end of the war, also israel always knew the enemies next step so the could counter it...
@@tomkhankin6540 centurion was superior to pretty much all tanks present save the patton of jordan but those got annihalated by superior airforce of Israel.

Jordan, Egypt, Iraq: "Attack!"
Israel: "No..."
Egypt: "Fall back!"

Jordan: "Attack again!"
Israel: "No..."
Iraq: "Attack!"
Israel: "No..."
Jordan, Egypt, Iraq: "Peace?"
Israel: "I wasn't listening, but the answer is no..."
Love this comment xD but.. we are in peace with Egypt and Jordan now luckly!🤙🏼
I've heard many war stories, but this one remained a mystery until today. It's good to see there was some honour amongst them.
Counterstrike. That's indeed going to be very touchy. It's a story with multiple assets. In just of the military, it's a great story but with the effects to this day, aren't pretty. History really has effects on those things these days.
The song is awesome. In just pure of it, the song is really thrilling and defeating three enemies in six days is something you don't see a lot. But in terms of what it caused to this day, I am not really a fan of it.
And you guys mentioned Desert. Those guys are awesome. By you guys, I got to know those guys.

This would only be controversial to be people who want to rewrite history the same way the Armenian Genocide is controversial to Turkey.
@@who167 Well the Palestinians are trying to rewrite history in order to claim land that was never theirs to begin with as actual historical plaestine is just the Gaza strip a few miles to the north. Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and the West Bank has been Jewish territory since the time of the 12 tribes of Israel and the Judges.

Well Israel is "ironically" nazi germanys best student. They fiht nearly exectly like it, they use the "Lebensraum"(living space) ideology to justify their state, they try to repopulate conquered areas with their own ethnic settlements, etc. , they ignore itnernational law and human rights on a regular basis, etc.
(just to make this clear the arab extremists arent in any way better)
But its kind of sad for a "democratic", western oriented state with a people who have a history of being treated like shit to do the same things that happened to them (obvoiusly not that extrem)
Also they are technically a religious extremist state and not a proper democracy.
But well the clusterfuck of the middle east just gets harder to solve every day.
