I love my sentro! I knit, crochet and just started learning tunsian crochet, but my sentro helps me make beanies faster for displaced shelters. The only thing I wish they would do better is their row counter. It broke after two weeks and I wasn't using it yet for the hats. My hubs fixed it with a digital row counter, Back in business making my hats.
Once you're casted off the machine (there's usually instructions with the machine how to cast off) you pull on that loose end you used to cast off so it closes (that's the first layer). Now you have a really long tube with one end closed. Pull on it gently to help with ripples. Now fold it over itself so the open "starting" end is over the closed "cast off" end. If you have the loose end from the very beginning you can pull it closed like you did the first time, or just get a string around the edge like when you casted off and pull it closed. Double layer hat!
I just got this machine and I'm trying to figure out how to take the hat off... Do you have a video showing the full process of taking it off and then turning it into a hat? That would be so helpful :)
Do you ever have trouble with stitches being dropped or skipped alot even if you're going slow? Cuz I'm having that problem with mine and idk if there's a solution or something
I just got mine for Christmas and have noticed it kept dropping the stitches on the chunky yarn I was trying out. So the machines must not like it... seems fome on dk though.
This whole time I haven’t been flipping them inside out and doubling it like you did! I just thought I was bad at making things 😂 today I learned

If you break parts again in the future, Amazon has a set of all the replacement parts. They also fit my Jamit brand loom.
