I remember that final time I cleared GW so I could sim it and I felt such a high from the accomplishment and almost immediately went to the fish from finding Nemo and asked, “Now what?”
Yep we all have that feeling. Once GW is on sim you never look back at ir really and have less to do in the game.
@@AhnaldT101 if you’ve ever played duel links, I hope they add something like the vagabond that randomly shows up once a day with a random squad that you can fight for some extra rewards. Less stress more content!
The only thing challenging with galactic war is bringing myself to completing 50 to be able to sim it. Lmao

I was around at 29 completions last week, this mornin I found out I could sim it.
Either I did soo many of it I forgot I reached 50 wins or idk but its such a time saver 😊

Galactic War?
That is a name that I have not heard in a long time...
Another tip: Once you have multiple teams, use high damage teams for the hard battles and durable teams w/ health/protection recovery on the easier battles. In Ahnald’s case, once he gets a first order team, use that on 6,11,12 and phoenix for the rest because phoenix has a lot of recovery.

Im lvl 72 with lvl 70 7* seps and lvl 40 4* phoenix, so basically if i get my phoenix up there too i can do the same?
Muhnson phoenix, mon mothma, geos, anything with protection and health recovery. Before level 85 phoenix will probably be the way to go. But yes, you can.
Remember when the final node of Galactic War used to be almost unbeatable and they had to nerf it ...

@@ShukaHusk it's actually only easy if you're shitty at this game across the board. If you put effort into getting a good PvP team together, GW is nearly impossible to complete.
Especially since the game only counts the power level and power level is entirely broken...
A lot of players won't even get past the third battle because they will be matched against a squad with one OP toon that simply solos everything the players have. But the power level makes sense so yeah...

hi im a new player. does it make sense to have all my chars sit at around the same lvl, for example ALL at lvl 46, as the difficulty depends on the power of the top 5 characters? I fear if I have my 5 phoenix at lets say 46 and keep the rest at lvl 40 I will have a harder time as difficulty depends on phoenix sitting at lvl 46. I am also using phoenix and beat GW the 1st time yesterday. only the last battle was really tough, had to sacrifice nearly 3 full teams.
oh, and 1 important question. is it possible to beat a team that has vader and kylo ren with the phoenix squad? I feel like phoenix is not doing enough damage for these 2 fellas. sorry, another question. when I upgrade my abilities between lvls 1 - 8 does each upgrade increase that chars power aswell or do upgrades have no influence regarding the power of a char? I was wondering about this as the upgrades to abilities give u for example 15% more stun chance or 3 % more crit chance and I wasnt sure if I should focus on chars that are at lvl 40 in my example from above instead of my phoenix at 46..
@@SkypherOfficial small level differences won't make that big of a difference, but after around 5 levels you'll want to get them caught up. Gearing up abilities only level up that ability, not the person's power. Kylo Ren and vader are a bit tricky but with Kanans unique, he can help with Vader AoE and you'll want to use Ezra as much as possible, since he's an attacker
I highly suggest this channel because it helped me farm and create some of the most powerful and op teams that Galactic Legends has. Thank you AhnaldT101 for helping me complete and unlock multi sim for Galactic War, it's very helpful to farm characters.

TLDR get Bastila and any assortment of Jedi. That is what worked for me back in the day.

Actually my friend started to play like 2 month ago, and he's strugguling with galactic war, I told him to use bastilla lead, this video is gonna help him a lot
When I used to struggle in GW, the best thing to do in the last battle or 2nd last was to use every character I have (except for the main team) to take as much health of the enemies as possible. So I could easily finish them off with my main team. It made things muuuch easier!
I still remember when I got a full Talzin lead NS team on that last node. I was so mad because I couldn't beat it 😂

One of my Guild mates recommended your channel to a newer player who had questions on who to farm first etc, and I gotta say. I am at 1.3M Power, so I don't really need those beginner videos, but I think it's really great you still do these beginner videos for new players even years after release!
My three month old second account is gear 7&8 first order with Larry and Hux; before I got them, I couldn’t beat galactic war but now it’s a breeze 😁
I've just returned to SWGoH after a long time... a long time. I'm mostly using my Pheonix squad to go through all Galactic War's. I think one important tip (especially, at higher levels), that was already mentioned below is to have another heavy hitting squad that can nuke leaders or specific heroes on hard encounters.

I’m about to hit level 40 tomorrow and I’m glad I came here to watch this! I stated farming Phoenix team on day 3 because of your new player guide and I’m a little bit behind where you are with my farming so I’ll have to run a some other characters when I do my first galactic war but watching showed me how to play the team when I have them ready to use. Thanks for your amazing content!
This is a perfect opportunity for them to make a relic tier event for endgame players to get more relic 8 pieces or a new currency to help with the gear crunch, or even make it like a challenge tier event with different "levels" that can be done daily.

As an end game player I use Galatia War to get bounty Hunter contracts for the quests.
I remember how huge it felt when I was first able to clear the whole Galactic War table regularly. Such a big deal while leveling up!

I ran Separatists and did pretty well, used a healer to keep them going, and ended up full clearing about 99% of the attempts I did before switching to Bastilla lead Jedi and getting 100% until finally hitting 85 and just sim'ing.
I do remember using a Phoenix team and was slow and it didn't go as well I think.
If only I had your videos 4 years when I started playing to explain me this... oh but I did! Thanks for all these years Ahnald :D

Ahnald has me being a very endgame player but still so entertained that I’m watching an entire video on Galactic War
as someone who just started as a f2p, one great thing to do is do the legendary character events (just like thrawn stages 1 and 2) as soon as possible, as they give 50 crystals each it's a great way to maximise crystal income
I spent 20$ on a sepratist mega pack, got geo brood alpha, and the rest is history, never lost a galactic war.
About the scripting part, especially changing characters, you can also add in the odd character in early stages to bring back later. For example; Use Jedi counsellor early and try to end a match where he has high turn meter with all abilities ready.
Then later on if you have a tough match that you simply have to end with less health than you would like, you can bring him in on the next match with the heal at the ready.
So pretty much keeping a few back up “near max” turn meter characters for emergencies or spare characters if needed
Been playing since 2016 and I found that the GW still has a few purposes. One example, is the prestigious quests. Its also a great place to get to know and learn a new toon's kit and figure out which synergies work good together against a wide range of opponents.
This content is awesome! It opens up viewers who are years away from your level! Definitely relatable content to early and mid game players! Keep it up!

This is a lot harder than it used to be. I remember 6 years ago when I did this the teams were poor with no synergy. My pheonix is 43 with max everything they can and I can't get past wave 9. I am against a level 72 vader team. I think it has got harder since anhald made this video
First of all, excellent video Grand Admiral! A lot of these tips I kind of wish I learned a bit earlier to save the stress that comes with GW. It’ll definitely help new players like myself with this event.
I’m currently lvl 83 right now and galactic war, while not too difficult, can be pretty intense sometimes (especially against zeta teams). Fortunately my Phoenix and Empire teams are able to wipe out the board 99% of the time (the only time they didnt was when the game thought it would be cool to send a gear 11 ns full zetaed team on the last node).
Also a tip for beginners for completing Galactic War with Phoenix: use Ezra’s first special, flourish, as much as you can, ESPECIALLY against enemies with no buffs (yes, you read that right). The reason for this is because Ezra gains 75% tm from the attack AND his cooldown is reduces by 1. A good combo that helps me take out gmts and sidious is to use flourish, then watch + learn (call chopper or hera to assist as that gives both allies tm gain), flourish again, and then basic (which usually hits twice). This combo can pretty much annihilate any toon you may come across (except for like tanks) and it’s been extremely useful for me personally during GW. It’s so good that I usually prefer to use choppers dispel first (as it gives prot and removes tm), and only have ezras as a backup dispel.
I made huge mistakes early on and would quit halfway through if I lost a single character or just restart everyday because I didn’t understand how it worked. Now I’m working my way to 50/50 and this guide is still helpful even as far in the game as I am!
I used phenoix squad for a long time in grand arena and got all of them on relic 6 and kanan and ezra on relic 7

Ayyy, this is exactly what I did, I went all in on phoenix squadron from level 35-65 and kept with them cuz they were so good for Galactic war. Well worth it

Extra point that used to help me on the couple of really difficult nodes, I would sometimes throw in a garbage character to have them waste their big cool downs then I could attack with my real team (Like Phoenix) straight afterwards.

Man, I know everyone thinks Galactic War is easy as Pie, but it's been a pain in my backside for a good while now. Thanks to you and this Video I've been able to conquer it.
Nice to see Ahnald giving something back to the Padawans. Our guild has a mix of Relic-ed up masters as well as members who are under level 65. And its an interesting experience. I wonder if it's common to have long term members of a guild who are years apart in development.

I'd consider myself a In the Middle Player, Not really A VET. Player And not a beginner. I mostly farmed for fun a couple years ago and took a mass break. I came back in August of 2020 and wanted to farm correctly, but was harder since I never farmed correctly in the first place. Guides Like these helps me so much. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Really useful tips. I'm lvl85 but am probably guilty of one of the tips you gave about spreading gear, etc too thin. Am starting to focus more now on teams but it's taking me a while. GW is something I rarely fully clear so I'll be trying some of these tips. Didn't know you could retreat and start over. Thanks, great video.

I would recommend a Bastila lead with a jedi team. You get the bonus protection at the beginning at the start of every battle and it just makes it so much easier to take less damage

Started playing mid 2020, finally being able to sim galactic war was huge
It has been ages since I've seen characters with such low low low health bars... I had almost forgotten that such a thing existed.
Finally. Sometimes, when it's really boring, I play a GW. I start with my 5 weakest characters without any sense and work myself up, just to look, which chars are able to beat the last knot. That's fun sometimes. :D
The grind to be able to sim is real. I remember getting stuck behind Bastilla teams with my Sith team 😢
Before I got a great team, my biggest problem in GW was unmasked Kylo just trapping any of my teams in an endless loop. Not enough damage from my team and he always healed. I’m glad I don’t have to worry about that problem anymore.
Love your vids! I always get my ass kicked in galactic war so I'm happy to learn a bit more! Until watching your guides I didn't realize how wrong I was playing the game. I am almost level 85 and still haven't beaten galatic war once! Trying to get Zeb leveled to 7 star so I finally gave all 7 star phoenix atm lol
Starting on the november 2020 shard update i’ve farmed jango, bossk, wicket, and jolee to 7-stars

That 'script' tip is legit. I've noticed that I might try to do the same sequence of attacks because something like Darth Vader decides to one-shot one of my characters early - and yet regardless of RNG, Vader will keep killing my dude at the exact same point in the fight. But then if I switch to attacking someone different, the 'script' changes, and that one-shot doesn't happen and I can clear out the battle.
Thank You so much for this tutorial! Without this video, I still wouldn't know that you can retreat and try again to play a stage without losing characters lmao That's why I always didn't have any characters left to complete the last few stages

Cknsidering that not long ago, RANCOR of all modes become the most relevant content again, I wouldn't be surprised if a new tier of Galactic War for endgame player is released and actually put GW back into the conversation
Great advice to go for Phoenix. I struggled in GW until I started that team (later than I should have). Don't forget Sabine! She will pay off later in ships and you'll find it difficult to make her a farming priority a year in.

Galactic War, I remember the days when you'd possibly encounter titan team after titan team after titan team, and still not at the last node.
Best ways I used to clear he was having stunners, ABers and assists.
