Love the discussion going on! Remember, people are at different points in the game. Characters like Padme might not be great or heavily used in my neck of the woods but she is great at other points in people’s lifecycle in the game! There’ll never be a perfect ranking!

i feel like starkiller is what gas back in the day. i agree, starkiller is the best because he can almost beat any team in GAC even GLs. best investment imo.
Jedi are my best built squad so I was planning on building jedi night revan to pit with Yoda, bastilla, ahsoka and hermit yoda
I'd love to see an r2 an 3po rework so they have a lot more synergy like in the movies

Funnily enough, the 2 do have a lot of synergy without specific callouts, just in the way they both have all relevant tags to each other, meaning each of 3po's unique apply to R2, and number crunch sees 4 tags on 3po, not great for where the games at but they do actually have quite a bit of synergy

Was really shocked you had Grand Inquisitor at #1, but I guess you're just a huge fan of the Inquisitor Team. Great to be in the Empire today!

@@BryGuy1312all you need to know is that they suck until you get Reva. And Reva is the hardest character to get in the game so only the top 1% of players have her.

IMO Padme is incredibly powerful mid-game. Padme cat can still beat SLKR and JMK, in the GP range where rosters' datacrons aren't insane defense stack yet, and padme gideon is my only viable way to beat the nasty Triumvirate-talon-savage. Padme has been the win condition for several gacs, on offense or defense.
Of course relativity makes a big difference in ranking! I was looking at an end game analysis where Padme doesn’t have many high value situations but 100% earlier on she’s way more impactful.
Was thinking about my next farm once I’m done with Jabba (the outrider is taking years..) and this list was just what I needed! It’s great to be in the empire today!
I'm done with JMK and GAS, going for JML. Starkiller is definitely on my list once I finish Luke. He seems like a very fun character to play with.

surprised about JKL being so low - he's got loads of flexibility and when i know i don't need a full strength JML team, his leadership ability means he's really easy to split out and beat another major team. i think people do underestimate just how useful he is at times
I recently got starkiller for the exact same reasons. The mix-matched teams are so nostalgic, I think back to aayla and dooku type of meme teams that could work. Also just playing the games when I was younger. Thrawn however, is criminally underrated. I think thrawn up until very late game is extremely good. Insane plug and play viability, I used to run him with my Rex and fives. Fracture is just so insane to buy your team time that it might need
I remember being a major advocate for talon when she first came out (totally not biased) and since I got her too 7 stars before she was double drop farmable and to R2 It was pretty smooth sailing to get SK. My hard carry team in GAC 🎉

Padme should definitely be higher. She might not have an ideal squad with jmk and qui-gon BUT she does amazing in proving grounds for people that don't have a gl or have see who isn't the best there.
And from my experience gas beats rey 90% of the time even with ben as long as there is no cat or sortie or something weird like that(Also shouldn't the title be from worst to best?)
I use Padme as lead with JMK in tbs, more successful than JMK lead
Padme CAT is what took me to kyber helping me beat most if not all the JMK on defence
How does gas beat rey? Whats the relic reqs, lineup, etc???
@@fugtugsughug1020 no need for crazy relics. Just have everyone at r5, r7 gas and if you can r8 fives. The goal is to time it so that whenever rey is using her third ability gas is standing up. So that's how it goes:
Rey goes first
Then rex gives tm to everyone and you get finn to damage immunity (maybe even kill him) and then attack someone else.
Rey does third ability and gas goes down
When gad goes up you get rid of fin and take another character below 50% health
Then reys does third ability gas sits, when gas stands up you get rid of the character you got to 50% health and get another character to 50%
And that's how it goes. Works all the time in a typical ben-resistance rey lineup
I hesitate to say 90%+ win rate with GAS vs Rey as it generally is somewhere between 20%-50% success rate (that is being generous with recent datacrons) but I think the point you’re really making is earlier on GAS and Padme are incredibly valuable. I’m taking more of an end game view and Padme and GAS are not as helpful but 100% right that earlier on they have more value!

Tbh that’s most of this list. This list is accurate for like 1-5% of the player base.

Currently going through the f2p grind for starkiller, I went for him just because I love the character but this video has excited me even more 🎉
Love the video Ahnald! Having gotten Starkiller pretty recently, I wholeheartedly agree with his number 1 ranking. He is a BLAST to use! I think overall everyone's rankings will be a bit different depending on where they are in the game, but your list is pretty solid. Being a hardcore Mando fan, I personally put Beskar Mando in the top 10. When he hits 20 stacks of birds, he often does instakill enemies, prevents revive, and can ignore Stealth and taunt. The damage immunity is icing on the cake. Granted, I have him at R8 purely because I like him as a character lol!
Coming back to the Game after a ~5 year break my roster seems outdated but I am glad you still are making hilarious and good videos :D
I might use this for a little inspiration which legend I should prioritise
Starkiller and Cal sound good, always preferred star wars game characters compared too movie characters

Yeah Starkillers requirements really put him at the top for me as well. I use all of the characters needed pretty often.

What I love about Starkiller is that he makes the impossible, possible. I recently got 3 stars on the Malgus PG by using a crazy Starkiller team, he is the god of plug-and-play.
Nothing brings me more joy than soloing a full omicron Grand Inquisitor (non Reva) with my R7 Omicron Fulcrum in TWs
Tip of the cap to you Ahnald for being brave enough to put together a ranking of the list of legendaries, Star Wars characters people adore. Any way you put it people aren’t going to 100% agree with it but you put it out there regardless. Keep being you man 👍

I agree that GAS is by far the best legendary in the game
You can't really use SK outside of GA and TW, whereas other legendaries can do something in GCs or other gamemodes

From an early game perspective: Padme is amazing, she gets stuff done other teams just cant with her survivability and courage damage. Although as you said her team gets picked apart later, so im happy to still use her with JKA, GK and Ahsoka. Also yes Emperor Palpatine is insane, him Mara Jade and Darth Vader can defeat alot of full relic teams while I only have r5 Vader. If you arent fast enough I will just dominate with them. And what you said about C3PO is also really fitting. I had the full CLS team ready apart from him and once I finally got him running it just changed so much. The constant exposes, translation buffs and another assist call make CLS my best team right now. (Until I get my hands on JKR I guess, DAMMIT CG GIVE ME MORE THAN 2 JOLEE SHARDS PER PULL)
an omicron that lets r2 and 3po be a powerful duo in GA would be crazy

If CG doesn’t incorporate R2-D2 with GL Leia, then he should be in a Padme team with Jar-jar, CUP, & Boss Nass! They should also make Kyrotechs easier to farm.

Great video as always Ahnald! My only change is that Aphra should be above Cal Cestus, following the Darth Revan logic of ranking the legendaries without using other legendaries (like considering Malak for D Revan), Cal Cestus can't really beat any GLs without giving him some other legendary jedi or JML, while Aphra can beat almost every single GL, except SLKR and Kenobi (and she can beat them without omis). I have Cal Cestus myself and I can definitely say I had a lot of fun with him as you said, but in terms of standalone viability, he can't reach nearly as high as Aphra.
If he followed that logic, the whole CLS team would be far down. So would SK

@@matthewsharpe393 indeed it would, but he followed that logic for Dr Revan so isn't it unfair to not apply the same logic to the other unit? I want to clarify that I don't agree with the logic for Dr Revan, but since that's the logic used on him, that should be the logic used on all the others.
@@hampter8992 the same as Ahnald's, but just switching the positions, with Aphra and Starkiller on 1# and 2# (you can make the argument for both being 1#, so I will just say that they are the top 2 without saying specifically who is 1#), 3# GAS, 4# Cal Cestus, 5# JKR. But this is just my opinion
@@DroidekaFan-fq3on it's totally fair. I understand your point. It just gets convoluted at some point because so many legendaries work primarily with others.
Plus the game is 5v5 primarily so you have to factor the other 4 supporting characters in with each legendary.
The only support to ahnalds placement I guess I could give is that Malgus is such a long farm that you have to deal with DR without Malgus for so long and so DRs ranking is lower due to that

I dont even play anymore but still watch. And pappy palps was my first legendary to get some sith/empire rolling. Then good ol yoda to get the jedi going for light characters
My Gear 12 bando squad with kuill, IG-11, Enfys Nest, and Hondo w/ omicron do really well. max whistling birds should totally be able to insta kill, but mid game my squad does real well in GA
i agree tottaly , i just uncloked and upgrade Starkiller and he is amazing
A CLS team replacement for Han and Chewie would let people use t hose 2 elsewhere too, with something like beskar mando, hondo, dash rendar, lots of scoundrel options that could potentially be a lot more annoying real fast with guard + han shoots first, etc.
I mean, GI can dunk on JML normally with or without omicrons. GI imo should be higher, dude is underrated

Funny think is, as i am finishing my JML farm i use JKL with qui-gon for even more POWER. And with this i am able to sometimes beat stronger teams without using the effect of the omicron 😂

Doctor Aphra is definitely my #1, she and her team are so fun to play and they can take down GAS and Starkiller teams, not sure about Kestis because I haven't faced him yet.
I went for Grand Inquisitor partly for memes, a bit for PvE uses too. I'm surprised how much fun his team is
I'm going after him currently because of how much Inquisitors are needed for Conquest feats
I love starkiller but when you get his requirements you have to farm up thier separate teams. Only mara jade goes with the starkiller team. I also personally have bb8 dead last on the ranking. My top 3 are:
1.GAS
2.Starkiller
3. Jedi knight luke

Im honestly, enjoying R2D2 for my budget CLS team. But it's another case like padme, the team eventually just doesn't cut it anymore and gets split up.
Dang, it’s great to be in the empire today! Starkiller will always be my favorite legendary. Wish they released more legendary characters. 😓. But as we see Cag pumping a new GL with a new raid every year, seems unlikely. lol.

I don't know what came first and what quest were added. From the base game all the way up to its current state.

Justice for Darth Revan!😭😭 I actually understand why he was put lower with the new Meta, but I still use Darth Revan lead instead of Malgus to easily 1 shot JML in Grand Arena. I think he still sits at least in the top 10.
Not to mention he is the ship meta right now!

Ahnald i cant believe you love the Grand Inquisitor so much he should be at the bottom of the list with his requirements being so high and his team as bad at it is (unless your late game with Third Sister) he is probably the last legendary anyone should go for no mater what part of the game you are in (unless your late game with a guild farming Third Sister)due to him and his team being so bad

I like using JTR as my LS UFU for SK. Her ability block, TMR, and healing immunity have been massively clutch for me a few times.
But that's against Rey Swolo teams only. Basically the only use for her lol.
BB8 should be under Thrawn imo. I find him way more useful. I've never had a gac where I didn't use Thrawn. I almost never use BB8 lol
C3P0 over Malak feels off to me too but I guess I get that rationale 🤔 feel like Malak has way more viability, especially when he gets to r9. His survivability there is bananas

For the 1 place I would actually put Cal because as you said you can just plug him with some leftover jedi and even beat Malgus but on the other hand starkiller I agree he can beat some GLs yeah but you NEED to put him to Palpatine (correct me if am wrong)
And the universe cried out in happiness as there was a great uptick in the number of starkillers unlocked over the next few months.
Grand inquisitor is my number 1, goat quisitor needs more respect
Use r2 every GAC on jmk and gear 9 baze for jmk mirror match. Works like a charm.
What characters would you consider GL light? I'd Reva and Malgus are 100% GL light characters. Maybe GAS, Starkiller, and Jedi Knight Cal too?

I still use Padme lead in every Territory Battle and Territory War on offense. She's better than GAS in RoTE because of her lead ability. It keeps GK alive long enough to finish

Would you have padmo higher for proving grounds? just hit 4m and im not ready for it but the research has padmo as a team that can 3* upto malgus

End game analysis, I get way more mileage out of Palpatine than those other guys. Lot of Grand Arenas I don’t use CLS and DR and Malak are only really better if Malgus is around.

I unlocked my beloved Starkiller about 7/8 months after he came out telling people he was secretly god tier, but ever since I got him I have seen LITERALLY 0 GL REYS making him a maybe Malgus killer for me
i know im late to the party but.. Grand Admiral Thrawn really is a shell of his former self however, like papa palpatine he has also stood test of time. 95-98% of his usage for me is against Reva squads in Conquest/ Proving Grounds bc of all the TM gained anytime status effect is inflicted or resisted really helps you keep pace and keep the Inquisitorious in check so they dont just run away from ya, honestly 99.9% of the time i catch up and lap them on TM. esp with Mara Jade & Papa Palp tossing debuffs everywhere, malak to tank and traya to dispel. got my Tie Inteceptor to 7☆ with that lineup.
Im considering going for cal after i finnish up grand inquizzy got most of his reqs at 4 stars with baby cal at 5
