Homemade marshmallows are 100% better than store bought. Sugar, water, corn syrup, and egg whites. Cook them, whip them on high speed for 15 minutes but into a lined pan and let set overnight.
I love how they sing the praises of the preservatives and crap they put in to extend shelf life.
Yes, I was thinking that I probably won't want to eat them again after watching this!
Yes! I’ve made vanilla, chocolate, cinnamon, and gingerbread marshmallows. It’s hard to decide my favorite, but probably the chocolate.
GMO-free corn syrup for survival, please.
well if you're using sugar instead of corn syrup for at least part of it, of course it's going to taste better! Try removing the corn syrup completely & it will taste even better still! You can also buy sugar only marshmallows from most countries around the world, there's only one country that make super sweet yuck with corn syrup in everything!
I've home made marshmallows, it's fun (although messy) but really no superiority in taste compared to most commercial brands available where I live
@@ClaireCelticMystic no, ditch the corn syrup completely & use cane sugar!
Pretty mellow episode
Lol 😊 mellow
Animal bones!? 🩻
with gelatin from pigs, yuck, not for vegetarians
There are brands that don't use gelatin. The Dandies marshmallows you see at 5:38 are completely vegan!
Skimmed riiiiiiiiiight over the animal part. No details on the processing of that?
How marshmallows are made. Where is gelatin in that title?
Nobody wants to hear about that
no details on how corn syrup is processed either, it doesn't grow like that you know, the corn has to be extensively processed to create that primary marshmallow ingredient! Gelatin is a tiny part of the final product compared to corn syrup, so if any ingredient is going to get it's own feature of making, it should be that, shouldn't it
just so u know, most marshmallows are made from pig gelatin. kosher marshmallows use beef or fish gelatin. maybe kelp as well 😊
and Dandies are kosher! fish 🐟 gelatin, i think
@@chananahar992 Dandies marshmallows are actually completely vegan, so no animal products used whatsoever :)
Most delicious video 🤤
My parents made marshmallow bunnies back in the early 80’s for Easter one year, they were so popular they were still making them 8 weeks after Easter. They never ate a marshmallow ever again after that😹😹😹
Thanks, great video !!
There are so many errors in the narration of this video that it would have been better silent. People really should stick to making videos about things they actually know.
Animal bones, Cartilage, Tendons, Sinew!!! Please if you have a heart there are vegan marshmallows made from actual gelatin!! Trust me they're much better and you don't have to think of what you're eating without throwing up😀
Most commercial gelatine is made from seaweed these days. And no the thought of gelatine made the old way before the discovery of seaweed does not make me want to throw up as you put it. Vegan’s have only been around since the early 1900’s before that meat based products was never an issue until somebody who never grew up on a farm got to see how it was all done for thousands and thousands of years. Modern living has made so many city dwellers Squamish over basic living requirements, and most if that all happened after WWII
@@dawsie It was once necessary for our survival to consume animals. That is no longer the case. We're past that phase of our history and it's time for our morals to catch up. When a necessary evil is no longer necessary, what is it?
@@LightxShadowxFoxx oh grow up!
@@mehere8038 ?
@@dawsie I eat meat and gelatin grosses me out. Probably does for most people, we just try not to think about it lol! I need to find these gelatin-free marshmallows 🤣
Now do hotdogs 🌭
homemade > store bought
I will never eat a marshmallow again, pure poison. Yuck.
If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus Is Lord" and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
Amen my friend, keep on spreading the good news. He will come soon.
What does this have to do with the video?😑
corn syrup & corn starch? yuck! Glad I live in a different country!
Have any of you ever done the marshmallow up your butt trick?
They were making frosting in a kitchen...
Crap, flick from one clip to another, why do people even bother.
