srry for your loss
All my deepest to you & your family. I’m so, so sorry.
I really hope I didn’t make shit worse by posting...I’m sorry if that was shitty.
Shout out to Dale's actor though. Did a phenomenal job
Shout out to that dying cow that distracted Dale tho! It was his first and last acting gig! 😭
Jeffrey Demunn portrayed the role beautifully
i think it's important to note that in Dale's defense, they aren't that far into the "apocalypse" i don't think it's even been a year at this point. So i don't think it's wild for Dale do be in denial of the loss of civilization. Especially since he's an older guy, he has lived in it longer. I think what the show is trying to say is how quickly you're willing to devolve in times of crisis, has a direct correlation to who you are and your morals. i.e Shane v.s Dale, when Dale said that Shane was built for a world like this.
Yeah it hasn't even been 3 months yet so they shouldn't be losing everything that made them human and moral their entire lives
Dale was also just trying to point out that they can choose the world they live in, they have the choice to live civilized
First Last not really. It’s not dumb to think that they can be saved. I mean before all this happened people didn’t even consider the fact that people might be able to die and come back🤷♀️
Definitely not a year. Rick woke up 2 months since the global outbreak began and this part of the story is happening 22 days since he woke up. So basically Dale has been living this new reality for almost 3 months.
@@tyb781 he was not far ahead at all. That’s a common misunderstanding of Shane. Everything he did put the group in jeopardy.
I love that you guys think Carol is hot. Hahaha. She is cute as hell.
She gets more and more badass every episode, which makes even more attractive too.
I thought I was weird for thinking that but I guess not?
Honestly her being more and more badass is what makes here attractive she used to have less self defense
Thats what I'm saying
They rescued the lad because they thought it was the right thing to do. They blindfolded him believing the could drive him miles away and drop him somewhere. What they didn't count on was that he went to school with Maggie and knew where she lived.
We know that, but why rescue him, fix him and then leave him to die again?
Criied he was trapped when they saved him, he couldn’t even move, fixing his leg and giving him a chance is why they did it, he had no chance when he was on the fence
@@ohhhh Yeah it was supposed to Rick and Daryl leaving Randall on the next episode someplace much further out. There’s no way Randall could figure out how to get there if he’s that far.
T-dog's real name is Theodore Douglas. I hope this helps.
Daryl would never get mad at Carl like that tbh. I wish you guys saw the deleted scene from this episode of them interacting. Daryl's really gentle speaking with him.
But honestly, Carl just wants to be /out there/ and to get used to it. Remember how terrified he was last season of walkers? He'd rather try to get used to it and be able to fight them off than just be useless and scared. He messed up, yeah, but he didn't go out there with the intention of running off. If you can actually hate Carl for being a twelve year old in an apocalypse surrounded by a bunch of alpha males who are trying to handle all the big things in the group, you may as well hate every child. At least he's trying to do something about being dead weight to the group, and that's more than most people could say at that age. When a kid makes a mistake in real life, do people just go "I hate that kid"? I hope not. Kids are kids. They learn and grow. You literally can't hold the things from this episode against a legit kid.
Fact is, he understands he made a mistake. He acknowledges it and that's why he was so upset at the end. He does feel guilt over Dale.
Dead ass I will be defending my boy to my grave. u.u
also lol how many comments do they even actually read if they're still complaining about t-dog's name i mean people have said several times that isn't his real name
FACTS
yep i agree
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Leaf Lenster 👌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Straight Facts! Carl is 💯 and will always get his respect from me!
to be fair carls character was pretty damn terrible throughout the entire show, not just as a young kid
“Who the fuck is watching Carl?! Where is your mom?!” So many of us wondered the same thing when we watched these episodes. 😂
I love dale he's a wise old man, he doesn't want to see them become like the rest of fucked up people during the zombie apocalypse.
He means well.
Agree, Well Said
He was annoying. Everything wasn't his business.
I would argue that everything was his business if it was going to danger himself and the group.
@@CheddahSlammer nope. Not everything
Dale was the moral compass in the group, and it carried out for the rest of the series.
Welcome to the age-old debate: Is Carl a prick or is he just acting like a 12 year-old in the Apocalypse?
Personally, Carl didn't annoy me. You can't expect adult sensibilities from a kid or everything becomes too convenient. One thing that defines these early seasons from the later seasons is that they act like real people. Nobody is perfect, they don't always make the right calls.
craig Challoner nah Carl’s just a prick
True, the only thing that annoyed me about Carl wandering off was how did his mother and every other adult let him wander off so much?!?!
Yup. I loved that about this.
finally! someone gets it
Its not really his fault, Rick and Lori are worried about other things so they don't focus on him as much.
Humanity is not out the door because they still look out for each other, they still look out for those who can’t protect themselves. The world is different but they have to find a new standard of morality. When you go full savage it changes you and you’ll see how it really fucks people up as the show goes on. Dale always annoyed me but I agreed with his point. People need limits for themselves because life is more than just surviving. Living without any humanity and you are basically a walker.
Beautiful 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💙
Pretty much exactly what I wanted to say
Damn, perfectly said.
Damn! I’m binging on the earlier seasons and came across this comment. That was one of the most eloquent comments I’ve ever read on UA-cam.
But the truth is that sometimes you have to be able to put your humanity to the side to be able to look out for the ones you love and care about. That’s what Dale didn’t understand. He cared more about his humanity than the safety of the people he’s supposedly looking out for. After hearing the story about what Randall’s group did to this teenage girls, and Randall knowing where the farm is, it’s clear there’s only one decision. Truth is, if Dale wasn’t prepared to be living in that broken world, he should’ve stayed in the CDC with Jenner. Instead, he is compromising the safety of the group.
Yall thinking about right now, Dale was thinking about the future.
His whole point about holding onto the old world was about not becoming monsters and once you start killing people, no matter the reason it's going to lead you down a dark path and you might one day discover all the killing and sacrifices you made to simply survive and stay alive isnt worth it.
Right and he was right all along. Rick knew that and made dales vision of society in the apocalypse come true in season 9
But it’s not that black and white like Dale thinks. After the story we heard about what Randall’s group did to those teenage girls and their dad and the fact that Randall most likely knows where the farm is, it’s clear what decision has to be made here. He cares more about keeping his humanity and morality than the people he supposedly cares about. And down the road, we’ve seen people do horrible things where kill or be killed was the only two choices. In this case, it wasn’t about becoming a monster or even about survival. It’s about protecting the people you love. That’s why Dale was naive.
As the show progresses, there are other black characters introduced who will have more of a role w/this group and the storyline. One of the most bad ass character in this show is black and I can’t wait for you guys to be introduced to her😊
leahqb26 Please stop. This show is infamous for its disrespect to black characters. One M does not make up for seasons of terrible representations. It doesn’t even make up for one T...one of the most embarrassing representations of a black man or any man in tv history. No.
Bryce Fryar you’re being dramatic. The most disrespectful and demeaning representation of African American men was when white actors were doing blackface, or many of the stereotypical roles blacks had to play in the 40s and 50s; if we want to keep it real. Before you make a statement about this show being the worst in history to represent blacks, you should educate yourself on the history of blacks and racism in Hollywood.
@@bryce253 oh just shut up
There’s less Latino representation but I don’t care
I’m just enjoying a good show
There are better representations of black people in this show than T Dogg but T Dogg was definitely being used as a racist plot device and his character tells you precisely that in his conversation with Dale after he gets cut on the highway. Dale even solidifies T Dogg’s argument by invalidating his black experience when he belittles it as “just a fever” without ever considering T Dogg’s true and realistic possible dangers against racial tribalism in being the only black man in his apocalypse group. It’s really funny that T Dogg lightly references racial tribalism, references being the weak and disrespected, while the only person who has a character arc about having value in the group of being more than fodder is also the only other person who said some racist bullshit to him beside Merle and the only other racial minority-Glenn, at the camp.
And there’s so much more I can say on this matter.
Saying blackface is the only or most gross disrespect against black people in TV is being unable to read how people currently speak in the room. That’s a position of ignorance. The racism that matters more isn’t portrayed blatantly, it’s weaved in to affirm biases without speaking them: we need a white man to save everyone and black men can’t do so; and the moment something went wrong each time in the first two seasons, T Dogg was incapacitated, not in the kick ass group, or too afraid to help.
@@robsusername1042 aye go on. I'm kinda interested in what else you got to say on this, cuz i thought I was reading too much into some of my problems with the show, especially given today's climate
Carl.....stay in the house.....😂😂😂
“Who’s watching Carl like what the heck!”😂😂definitely agree with you there
You guys are the only people i know who are in disagreement with dale
They don't understand his point of view yet, wait till later and they'll probably realize it
@@113Branty I agree sometimes you just have to do it, hell this may not be real life situation, but I've spared people in pubg only for them to kill me later, just not worth the risk.
You might not know a lot people then or they're all saps. Dale wasnt built for this world and he didnt adapt well to it. Everybody I know is feel the same way as them.
Well they're not th only people. One of my favorite youtubers Jimmy Macram couldn't stand Dale, let alone his argument.
Truuuuue lmao😂. Different perspective for SURE!
Guys, T-dog's real name is Theodore Douglas.
My favorite parts of this episode is when Daryl took the kill shot for Rick. It shows that Daryl understands how hard it is on Rick, because he already put down Sofia. I also like the part where Daryl tortures Randal. It shows that Daryl is willing to do the difficult things Rick asks him to do to help protect the group.
Y'all need to lay off of Dale :^/
People really out here expecting Carl to act like an adult?
I cried SOOO much when dale died, because he was so innocent compared to the others, and when older people die, I get more emotional lol but yeah I sobbed 😭😅
sameeee
He is called T-Dog because his name is Theodore Douglas. And used to play football...
So T-Dog was a play on his name.
I hope Robb is okay? I noticed he hasn't been in any recent reactions. I originally subbed because I liked Robb, so I'm sad to see him absent so much.
*Edited* I edited my original post because I just found out from a subscriber/commenter what happened.
Man ngl tbh I miss dale he was the legit peace keeper he tried his hardest to get the group to keep its humanity
Lol “who is watching Carl!” Not Lori
The first time I heard Dale give this speech I realize “the walking dead” title isn’t referring to the zombies. R.I.P. Dale he was one of my favorites.
In future episodes this guys they’re going to wish they had someone like Dale.
The weird thing is the kid didnt have a gun when the bar shooting happened so the kid didnt even try to hurt them in the first place the kid is 100% innocent and the fact that he was left behind so easily from his original group means he wasnt even that important to them.
True, they could've just drove in the middle of nowhere blind folded then leave him there.
I thought he had like a sniper rifle. That was the reason for him being on top of the building in the first place.
I miss Dale bro... his a really nice person
That scene with Carl & the walker had me standing in the middle of the room yelling at the television “don’t poke the undead thing”
It was such a kid thing to do & I left the episode with a greater appreciation for the writers & director who understood how a kid behaves & for Chandler’s ability to follow direction
Jerry is me at this point in the show the first time around-why save Randall just to kill him later. They should have put him out of his misery where they found him
"Who the F is watching CARL?!!!" I love it, welcome to the Walking Dead Club...
as you progress throughout the show youll realize than dale was right all along... and the fact that yall were happy about dales death was just sad...
i’m late but they have to realize that there’s a difference between watching a bunch of apocalypse shows on tv & actually wanting to be in one. right now they are so for killing the kid, but when it’s actually them none of them is gonna want to pull the trigger
Bruh looks like pornhub have to wait

It's free today my guy. This shit gon have to wait

Editing to remove
Aww no 🙁🙁🙁 thanks for clearing it up though, they never said anything he just disappeared. Love to Rob, he's good people. ❤❤❤
Aww, damn! Condolences to Rob & family.
Thanks, Jessica!
Thanks for letting us know. Prayers to Robb and his family.
That's tough. I'm sorry Rob.
"Editing to remove" what?
CARL!!!! Like WTF?!! That is the most frustrating thing watching this. LORI!!! Watch your kid!!! If I was in a zombie apocalypse I would hand cuff my kid to me. He would NEVER be out of my sight. Even if we were somewhere we thought was safe. Carl's just a kid, he doesn't know any better. Lori - you got one job!!! Watch your kid!!
especially after what happened with sofia she knows that the kids should be number 1 on their watch list.
i loved dale, he was one of my favorites and i never seen people that disagreed with him so thats different lol
“So the answer is to kill him for a crime he may never even attempt”
Uhhhh
I miss Dale
Lori is never watching Carl... it's the end of the fucking world and Carl's just out roaming about unsupervised smh...
It seems like he forgot they didn't PLAN on killing him, they were going to let him live until he mention Beth and the farm then it became risky.
I don't understand how can anyone hate Dale, first it's only like a couple of months in the apocalypse, there is still hope for things to go back to normal, so it's easy to understand his point of you. Also Walking Dead has never been JUST about surviving, it's more philosophical than you think. For me this show is about people most of all, and how far are we ready to go in order to protect what/is dear to us, while still trying to maintain their humanity. It's about survival ,yes, but it is also about hope, and people coming to work together during the hard times, like they always did, like World Wars and stuff, the only reason people won it cause they've bonded together. Anyway that's my point of view.
It's still the beginning of the apocalypse. Dale doesn't want to lose their humanity, ..the world hasn't fully evolved into the survival of the fitte6st that it becomes now. Yal too harsh on a dude that doesn't want to kill a KID in cold blood. Plus, Carl is like 11, .so keep that in mind
Dale is right... Humanity doesn't have be gone. Dale is keeping real. :) Well was... :P LOL
Y’all better leave Dale alone. God forbid someone wants to talk over killing a boy for simply being in the way.
Seriously what yall do to Rob?
That nigga got Shane'd
That's what I'm wanting to know...
I guess he just lost his mom, that's what I've been hearing. Poor guy.
Son Deku Freecss He just pinned to the page that he lost his Mom to cancer and will be back in March
I honestly get too hyped when ya’ll post these TWD Reactions
Stop hating on Dale lmao hes the only one being reasonable.. You cant just go around killing every stranger u see like a pyscho, even in the apocalypse that shit will catch up to u
The disrespect to Dale........
Carl has my respect forever. He is just a kid.
You guys are mean lol I loved Dale I understood where he was coming from, poor babe wasn’t ready for everything he once knew to be gone. Rip my Dale 🙏🏼❤️
I've said this before on past videos but the crew are 100% NEGAN..Change your names to the Saviours at this rate and we're only on season 2 😂 #DALEWASRIGHT
Honestly my favorite group of reactors 😂
Y'all gotta see where Dale is coming from, his whole philosophy on the issue isn't about survival. He doesn't think survival is even worth it if it means sacrificing their humanity. As survivors in this new world, they have the choice to build a world full of bandits and murderers, or they can try and be different than the other groups and keep mercy alive. The others want to kill the boy more because they got more to lose, like spouses or kids, but Dale is an old man with most of his life already behind him, and he doesn't value his life enough to justify murdering someone so young who is also innocent, and doing nothing but begging for his life.
i’m super late but i’d be right there with dale. you can’t kill someone because of some thing you think they might do, it actually reminds me a lot of whats going on now. killing someone because of what they might do.
Carl is still a little kid
Y’all gonna learn how wrong y’all are as more shit progresses. Dale is literally the heart of this group.
Brandon Self dead heart. Rick turns more into Shane...never Dale.
I wouldn’t exactly say he turns into Shane though. Colder yes but Shane was more than cold he was growing into a fucking psychopath. Rick, while extreme, at least cared for the other members of the group. Also we do see him learn the error of his ways.
Nah, I'm glad Dale died early on. His "omg but our humanity 😢" shit would've gotten really annoying
Survival of the Fittest is one thing. Execution is another.
I hope y’all keep the same energy in season 5
"now he's not just the asian Boy, he's Korean!" I snorted way too loud😂😂😂
"COOOOORL! WHERE IS YOUR MOM?!!" lol
Lmfao oo oo Walkins is so me at the end, I was mad pis too! And super irritated lol.
Oh boy! So excited for these next two episodes
lol at the T Dogg comments
So much emotion i love it
I am not sure if anyone feels this same way. But I have been unable to get through one of your Walking Dead reactions because the sound is so quiet. Maybe its my TV, I am not sure. But I have to turn the volume wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy up to hear the show. And then when I have the volume turned all the way up, your guys clapping and laughing is way too loud. I am not sure if its a technical issue on my end, or you guys are putting the sound way down. But I cant do this. It sucks cuz I love the walking dead early seasons.
Andrew A it’s the same for me. Although I have watched the show so much I know what’s happening even though I can’t hear it a lot lol
its prolly not that the show is low but there mics are loud as shit
Same here. But I don't need to hear the clip that much since I know every season.
It is pretty low at times for sure
That’s funny, bc i like the sound on this one. I usually have to wear headphones to hear what ~they’re~ saying. I care more about hearing them well than the show.
‘Fkin do it dad’ was hilarious
kinda funny that a group religious guys can't see that Dale literally represents pure Good. He is the angel trying to keep the people walking the correct path. He's completely correct that the world is what we make it, so if the goal is to survive and rebuild society in this world, we gotta act with love toward a fellow living human. Otherwise the world we rebuild will be based on hate and evil.
And I'm not religious at all btw
If I was in the group, I'd let him know that he isn't alone, and the choice they're making isn't easy on anyone. There's value in what he has to say, but that was not the time.
The writing is impeccable. His death symbolized the path that needed to be taken, and the thoughts of moral civilization needed to die, for their survival.
Lol that zombie pulled a Hulk Hogan on Dale chest!!!
All of y'all are me lol. "Who the fuck is watching Carl, they weren't even sleep??!!
The whole thing with Randall was a reminder that you need to be in a group with people to survive, and because if that you got to come up with a process of deciding who gets to join your group and who gets killed which comes later in the show
Carl was like Palpatine "dew it"
Right nobody watches Carl in a dangerous time being the apocalypse 😤😂
Dale was my fav, legit cried whrn he died
I look forward to your reactions everyday
*Character does anything*
"That's a real ass nigga!"
Lmao
Got a room full of saviors here lol
literally one of my fave group reactors♥
Just caught your reactions recently, came back to see you react to the whole thing. Season 2 is my favorite season, the character development is insane. That being said, Dale wants to keep their humanity, he knows that this turn means the end of everything, and that is hard to accept. CARL!!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I can NOT wait for the next episode!!
Dale was the odd man stuck in the past, hanging on to civilization. his death is the marker that things cant go back to how they ever where.
Shiiiit 😂 I wish I could watch this with you guys an have these damn conversations with ya fools 😂 shits funny as fuck. Keep it up! On point
T-dog's real name is Theodore Douglas(he told us this info in Episode 2 of this season)
Don't do my man T Dog like that lmaooooo. Back when the episodes aired he was the only brotha we had surviving the apocalypse so black twitter had his back. We, of course, waited to see if he had actual lines each episode which he barely did:(. I feel the frustrations with the group tho but that's why I love TWD because it's so realistic. No way in hell is people from different walks of life gonna be on the same page about these issues. It is very conflicting when you have to decide if a person should live or die when they did absolutely nothing to hurt you. Dale was a real one this episode, he knows the group's humanity was important to keep intact. He went out with integrity and I was sad about his death which was bad ass Carl's fault. Carl pissed me off so much can Lori watch her kid, and trust it won't be the last time he's this annoying but I did come to love him later on.
The thing is their has to be some sort of degree of what dale is talking about otherwise everyone would be doing their own thing for their own selfish reason (like Karl in this episode) and what they think surviving is. The whole group would fall apart which is what happened during this season. You think if we follow Shane into Choas and take over the Farm by force like he wanted, would result in anyone being safe besides Shane. Cause that was the next step if Randel was killed. I actually don't understand why you don't like Dale, he is reasonable with his facts, and at some point civilization will be reestablished even after such a horrible state. People still in the Chaos won't be able to climb out of the muck, and would be left for dead. I am sorry but just like you guys were getting angry at dale I was getting angry at your reaction, I don't understand how you think the world in the Walking dead is only about survival, when Rick and the group are keeping some degree of civilization alive.
It's so sad watching you so happy seeing Dale being torn apart by a zombie
Dale is an important character in the Group he can be nosy sometimes but since season 1 all he cares is the wellbeing of the people around him
I side with him in this episode and i cried for him a good man 😭
Lmao u guys are hilarious 😂
Lmao pat had to had seen this episode
R.I.P. Dale. The last of the old world morality. Onward to new world survival mentality. :-) ♡
Blackpink’s full interview with strahan and sara will be released tomorrow
Can’t wait for them to see season 4-7
How y'all forget about judge Mathis like that
Carl only gets more annoying 😂
Not really. This is the peak of his rebellious phase really.
@@roseofthegarden_ Still an annoying fuck for the entire show.
Not at all. If anything he only gets better from here on out.

Y’all literally yelling fuck you at a kid 🤦🏻♂️. I bet y’all would be total perfect warriors if this ever actually happened at that age.
The writing is just so great. Dale's death was very poignant to the tone of this episode (and season in general). His death, and the fact the group had to deliver the final blow, was symbolic, that the idea of a moral civilization had to die, for their survival.
