It’s kinda sad that the bottom dollar and profit of the show came before telling a fulfilling story like the comics

@@Kirasfox from my understanding, the sole reason they didn’t keep paying him was the fact a new contract would have to be negotiated since Chandler Riggs was about to turn 18 and AMC didn’t want to pay him any more so they just found a way to kill him off, they did it with other characters like Dale and even having characters like Maggie leave the show was because of contract disputes. Daryl Dixon is actually solid and we’re gonna get a lot of world building. I’d say even if you don’t cover Maggie and negan for now, please do cover Daryl Dixon. I was frustrated how quickly the nuns got dispatched but honestly it’s been pretty good overall. Not perfect by any means
I actually thought the nuns dieing so quickly added an element of reality to the show. Let's be honest, young military and actual combat knowledgeable men would very quickly destroy them, they served their purpose and their courage was amazing. They stood no chance and knew it, yet winning wasn't the goal, protecting the boy was, buying him time and space, and they did in heroic and selfless fashion. Practicing with weapons and actually engaging in war and death are different. Put a black belt of 20 years in a ring with a 2 years trained mma fighter and see who wins, it won't be the black belt, it will be the.combat warrior , trained and experienced in actual fighting and who can handle the truth of being hit and hitting, over the one who trained to throw hits, but never has. Then the real world truth, males are made for combat, bones structure, muscles, nerves, all made to fight, faster, stronger, more aggressive, against smaller and more defensive women, the nuns had no real desire to hurt or kill, except a few, and they stood little chance against a stronger and better armed opponent. If the nuns had fought from a distance , used technique and distance they would have stood a better chance, but face to face, guns vs melee weapons, they did far better then I thought they would.
The best part of fear was seeing normal society utterly collapse, which we really didnt see in the main show because rick just wakes up after everything already happened. We need more of the first season of fear in different parts of the world and how they adapt to it. Maybe even from the government and scientist perspective trying to keep it secret and contained. Or from the perspective of a soldier. There are so many avenues they can take it even as short stories, but they seem to keep wanting to do the same thing with the same characters.
Agreed. When I watched Fear the Walking dead I had the urge of watching everything going down and once it hit the status quo of the main show, I dropped it. If Fear The Walking dead were an Anthology with each season covering a self contained plot showing the start of the spread at different places around the World, I think it would have been way more interesting. Perhaps a character or another crossing over, but mainly self countained seasons.
Fear had so much potential. They butchered it worse than negan did Glenn EDIT: Whilst spin-offs show some variants, the ‘variant’ in dead city isn’t a new variant at all. A pile of walkers in the sewers became entangled along alongside rotting and stuff and it was like 4 in one. It was pretty cool
Trust me, Daryl Dixon ABSOLUTELY deserves the hype. I strongly recommend that first season, it's some of the best content we've had in years... Daryl's Character really gets some layers in this show, it's the most expressive I've ever seen him.
I've heard it gets better. Regarding World Beyond: that's new information to me and that's great if it's how the Daryl Dixon episodes go but come on, how was I supposed to know that lol there's so much in this universe to learn that it feels impossible to keep up, especially when a good amount of it ends up being disappointing. This comment is what I wanted to see from this video, I asked for people to provide their own opinions to perhaps challenge mine and here we are, I just wish some people weren't so rude about it. (Not aimed at you btw)
@Howesenberg yea, I feel that. There’s so much content now that if you aren't already caught up, it will definitely feel overwhelming. And yea, some people can be very rude. They gotta realize you WANTED them to sway you. 😭 I'm not sure why they saw it as an attack on their shows.
Daryl dixon is the best spinoff, it also explores the very problem you have with his character and is about him discovering what he wants. Also the action and character drama are much better than any of the other spin offs
I don't know how anybody is watching this crap. It's like the threshold for quality has dropped in the whole population to the point they don't even realize when something is trash, they just except it. The first season of the walking dead were soemof the best television I've ever seen. Then it just went to crap. The quality took a nose dive. Dont know how anybody can watch this stuff now.
Daryl Dixon is moving in the direction of "What Daryl wants" - they just can't do it in the 1st episode as the narrative shift wouldn't make sense for a character who has been the protector for so long. The cinematography alone is worth watching the show and seeing the initial outbreak in Paris was amazing (not a spoiler as there are scenes in the trailer). I rank the spin offs in this order - FTWD, Daryl Dixon, Dead City, World Beyond, Tales ... with The Ones Who Live most likely topping the list but TBD
Just wanted to say congratulations on how far you've gotten; from covering Breaking Bad up to here rn, you've brung out some cool content. I hope to see more of you soon, especially with the new Walking Dead coming out!!
Fears first season is so damn good. I loved that scene where they're on the water and watching the city get bombed. It was like an expanded scene of the cold open of one of the episodes in season 2 TWD. the rest was forgettable, I got through to like season 4 or 5 because people said it got really good, but I have no idea what crack they were smoking because the writing took a nose dive and somehow got worse as it went on. Travis' death was one of the stupidest and most underwhelming things I've ever seen.
I’ve watched every project in Twd series, and not gonna lie Daryl Dixon was the best spin off I’ve seen so far. While there were zombies, it felt like a significantly different atmosphere compared to the other shows. I won’t spoil anything, but I definitely feel like there is potential.
Episode 2 of Daryl Dixon is so much better than the pilot I have no idea why they didn't release them both on the same day, really would've made up for the wait.
i would honestly advise you to look into daryls character a bit more and understand that since rick died he's been searching for him originally for his body and now as he knows he's alive for him.
That happened back in season 9 and has since stopped talking about it. Again, that's a goal of his focused on someone else, the formula gets a bit stale after a while and I find it boring.
@@Howesenberg i just think thats part of his character and part of why fans love him so much he cares about others way more than himself in a way he's kinda selfless but he's also badass and is able to fight for himself at the same time. i feel this spin off is as much about him helping others and also him finding himself in others. Either way I understand your viewpoint I just think there is more to it than that. i would recommend giving at least 1 or 2 more episodes a go but if you don't like his character I cant guarantee you'll get hooked.
@@nerdTimmyswork he finds it very hard to connect with anyone on that level to have a kid with them. calling it "lazy writing" is just a lack of understanding of his character on your part. you dont gotta like it but it aint "lazy"
Daryl Dixon season 1 is incredible feels like they don’t tone anything down at all, plus variant walkers are looking like they have a lot of potential and….. the book of carol (season 2) 👀
Because season 2 has already been paid for. Which is rare in television history, usually the first season comes around after a pilot screen testing for an audience, to get executives excited enough to trust they may profit from the season, than a test run of season 1 comes around, and is usually a lot shorter than later seasons. Take the first season of the walking dead for instance, which was only 6 episodes. The second season was 13 episodes and from then it was 16 until the final season or two which were 20+. @@mixxavelly9189
I think Dead city is actually worth watching (even though it feels like more of the same). The problem with TWD being a "cinematic universe" is that I don't think the concept warrents enough material for all these shows. At the end of the day there's only so much you can do with zombies before it gets repetitive. I understand why AMC made all these spin-offs though (more money lol, this franchise is their cash cow now).
See, to me 'more of the same' just suggests it to be a waste of time if it's only offering your the same experience as before. Based on these comments it seems people are more interested in the first couple seasons of Fear than anything else
@@Howesenberg I mean, fear is the longest of the spinoffs so would produce the most Contant. so maybe that’s part of the reason why people are suggesting the show. just a suggestion.
Fear is the only one I think should be covered. or atleast the first 2 seasons. What I loved about Fear was how realistic the downfall of society was. Nobody believed Nick and what he saw because he's an addict, and initially the only people turning were druggies who'd overdosed. Nobody knew what was going on. But in some scenes where you see paramedics who'd been bit. You know whats coming and its horrific, but course they are clueless as they don't know the bite will kill you. And then season 2, setting the show outside of the US was great in seeing how other countries handled the situation. And especially Mexico was a great choice because it was the Cartel who took over where the Government abandoned. Not too different from Mexico today, especially in the Northern regions. After Season 2 it became a standard people vs people show and I stopped watching after season 4. Which is a shame because I think seasons 1 and 2 are 2 of the best seasons in the entire TWD franchise.
Colman Domingos voice is just too good. I made it to the season where the main cast just gets mostly completely replaced by people we don't care about at all. No opinion on the other series mentioned, so follow your gut - I'll still watch since I don't mind spoilers. Keep up the great work!
Fear the walking dead has a strong beginning but gets progressively insane. I remember the somber tone of the first season. Some existencialist refletion on the character of nick, how a person that struggles with chemical abuse feels confortable now that he can only live in the moment, and the future is uncertain. This same uncertainty breaks Travis character, as he learns he can no Longer trust figures of authority, as he learns to have agency in this world and learns that it is impossible to save everybody... A character shows up with a van that has a button that reveals AUTOMATED MINIGUNS that kills zombies, so i just stopped watching 😂
I’m glad you recognize Strand and Daniel are the best characters in Fear, even better than many characters in TWD. I definitely would like to see you cover fear. It’s definitely the biggest and most important twd spin-off so you don’t have to cover the other spin-offs.
@@westonmeyer3110 How? He’s just a con artist from the old world who’s only allegiance is to himself and eventually to the Clark family. I like his complex relationship with Daniel as well. What’s bad about that?
9:58 LOL This is LITERALLY the very last scene of the World Beyond Series, and it has nothing to do with any of the episodes that preceded it. Again, DON'T BOTHER!!
That is the plan. I don't think I can stomach much more anyway lol This video was more to find out what people would be interested in IF I was to return to the universe. EDIT: Pinning your comment because I want people to see this is my main goal for talking about the spin offs
I think you'll find the character aspects you want in the Daryl show if you keep watching. The story does develop more than just Daryl grunting and protecting! Also the WB Jenner scene is literally the post-credit scene of the entire show and has literally nothing to do with the rest of it. So I wouldn't say it is a good indicator of the quality of WB. Also also Dead City spoiler alert: The "variants" in Dead City are not real variants. Just funky looking normal walkers. A-la the bloated ocean walkers, spider filled walker, or moss/fungus covered walkers.
At this point i'm so invested in the walking dead that i have to watch all the spin-offs. Started and finished season 11 this week. Might as well finish everything. Though in my opinion the Daryl DIxon spin off is the best out the bunch (expect Fear the walking dead)
I haven't watched Ftwd but what I've heard is it starts out pretty good but slowly becomes a terrible show thats hard to watch but i haven't watched so i dont know
I've heard 1-3 is good, 3 being the best, then it completely falls off a cliff with a change in showrunner, huge time jump and forced introduction of Morgan from The Walking Dead
I personally like all the spinoffs. The World Beyond was okay. Dead City was bad. Daryl Dixon was amazing. The Ones Who Live are what the fans needed. Fear The Walking Dead was honestly good until the last two seasons.
FTWD seasons 1-3 are probably the best in the entire TWDU. I’d rank the spin-offs like this: 1. FTWD S1-S3 2. Daryl Dixon 3. Dead City 4. Tales 5. FTWD S4-S8 6. World Beyond
It would be a great idea to just put the Benny hill theme song in every scene of human characters running away from the zombies. It would really add a lot to the tension
I think in Fear you get to see two (of my favourite moments) the son, with the swept back hair, becomes a whisperer because he believed that the herd had saved him from a pack of dogs. The second favourite moment was Strand talking to a cosmonaut that is currently up in space, through a radio he found on a beached yacht. I personally like watch shit hits the fan in these movies and disaster movies, mass panic and mass destruction.
If you havent watched fear season 3, id atleast give that a go, it wraps up the in a really awesome way where the first 3 seasons feel like a complete story, after s3 the writers change and the characters are written a lot worse, s6 was good in my opinion, but the inbetween seasons are not that great
It's insane that Fear the Walking Dead started out as a spin off/prequel focused on the early days of the apocalypse but then after 3 seasons nearly every main/supporting character from the first three seasons is killed off and one of the main characters from the main show takes over the series. Only for then two more characters from the main show to show up as major characters before finally getting rid of all the returning main show characters in the final season and reintroducing the original protagonist to finish up the show. Fear The Walking Dead is insane
I think after the walking dead you should cover the night of the living dead, dawn of the dead, day of the dead, because it’s only right to cover where it all started with the zombie franchise
@@HowesenbergI know many who think it’s crazy to NOT quit watching after half the first episode lmao. Random Side note: hey did you guys know Terry Crews shops at the Costco next to where I live lol. He’s really nice , polite and respectful.
I have to admit World Beyond's second season snuck up on me and I missed the entire thing, but I respect the show for its fresh take in the walker world. The show actually provides a new perspective of the world at a different time, something FEAR initially promised but far too quickly fell into the routine of find secure communal, tension, communal becomes unsecure, run.
7:35 . i dont usually comment but i believe you should take sponsors by anyone paying good, your audience should do the research and see if they like it. regardless, im glad youre getting that bag bro.
It's just that I'm sick of creators pushing products that they clearly don't use, you can see through the fakeness and I can't fake it in good conscience
The first... like two seasons of FTWD was sooo good. Less about The Wildest Cowboy cop with a Big Iron on his hip, chewing ass and kicking gum, and more about a (relatively) normal family dealing with the outbreak, it was fantastic. They should have contiued the whole "this is what you could do" scenarios and what troubles could arise, like when they were on the boat, and lived with a militia, then a huge hotel ect. Awesome ideas of what someone could do in the apocalypse, and I thought they were going to explore more of those kinds of scenarios, so I was psyched. They could have done such a great job, a whole new spin on TWD world. But then it was just TWD: Bargin Brand. The characters would constantly flip-flop too, which was annoying. They destroyed Strand's character 100x over, and he was the BEEEST thing about that show. But, I think all of them will end like this. Great hype, huuuge potential, but it'll just be average, medicore and generally just C- grade all around.
So you want to watch a zombie perspective that would get borimg hearing grunting all episode every episode as they sit around or wonder aimlessly for there next meal 😆
I'm thinking of changing the rules by me being the one who seeks out sponsorships rather than the other way around, sponsorships should always be genuine
The one with Maggie was just ok. It was a nice relaxing watch but nothing too exciting. The Daryl Dixon one brought me back to the level of excitement I didn't feel for this series in years
Definitely give Daryl Dixon a shot. I'll admit that the first episode isn't that good, but trust me, it gets so much better. I almost dropped it after the first episode but I'm glad I didn't. Legit probably the most expressive Daryl has been since early walking dead. This show will not disappoint if you give it a shot.
Very rare that I comment on UA-cam videos since I always go back to the start page as soon as it ends to click a new one like a robot. You can really feel the hours and days, hell even months, you put into the videos you make, I haven't watched all your vids primarily just the walking dead series before I catched up on the latest seasons. If you compare to other youtubers it's just a google voice driving you crazy after 10 minutes, you crack joke but still explains what's happening so everyone can understand even if it's just playing on the 2nd monitor without you looking. Keep it up with the great job chief you're going places! Love from Denmark.
Fear is an amazing show in my opinion season 3 I’m pretty sure will fully convince you to make a series on it honestly it’s in my top 5 shows of all time I love it
Fear the walking dead is the most infuriating show ever. First 3 seasons are incredible, then they butchered the show needless and so hard it never recovered
Hell yeah baby, get that sponsor bag! I still remember your post when you finally quit your job to do this full time, once I get more income I look forward to helping support your channel. Let's go Basement Buddies!
With fear, Season 3 is one of the best seasons in the franchise, then it goes on a decline from that point, picking up again at season 6 but (apparently as I haven’t seen past 6) declines again after that. Though I think on a binge, the “bad” seasons could be more bearable without watching it on a week to week basis
Ah I quit the show after what happens quite early in season 4 tbh, I didn't like that at all. That and the shoe doesn't seem to handle killing off characters very well.
@@cheesybeans9476Yes, Nick died and I found that a good thing, because the main cast seemed immortal in season 1-3. This just got better with Nicks death because you started to worry about them
I was so hyped for fear the walking dead, only because it was said at the start that this show would focus on the start of the apocalypse. So I got into it thinking that they're never going to go into the post apocalypse, and they went into it in the first season itself 🤣
I just finished the season one finale of world beyond and honestly it starts getting really good near the end of episode 6. It’s kinda of insane the way the tone shifts of not only the show, but also, the characters as they realize wtf they’ve gotten themselves into and who exactly their “family” is. The twists, turns and reveals, had me genuinely gasping and rewatching previous episodes for clues and foreshadowing. Tbh This made me get back into the Walking Dead franchise. (Also, to me, it feels like a Telltales: The Walking Dead spin off storyline. lol)
How can you take a cable show with 18 million views per episode, and now Dead City brings in about 1.1 million on a good day.... all of these shows will tank.... get ready for a full reboot.
i loved daryl dixon, i love how it expanded on his past and let more insight into other parts of the world, and how things added together. however you are so right, i keep waiting for daryl to become his own person.
please do fear the walking dead less because its good or bad but because i want to see you talk about it like you completely changed the way i saw 28 days later just from that one video
It's been a long time since I watched/ enjoyed walking dead outwith the comics but I had a lot of fun with the Dixon spin off. Aye it is just Dixon in France but it's good and hope season 2 is as good
I just watched 8+ hours of the walking dead recap. I subbed for the specific reason to see the recap on all the spin-offs. So please, do them all. ALL!
as someone whos recently and completed every spin off ny tierlist is 1 TWD 2 Daryl Dixon 3 FTWD 4 Dead city 5 Tales from TWD THE FIRST 3 ARE A DEFINITE MUST WATCH. FTWD is carried by like 3 chracters but that doesnt last long
I completely disagree with you about being tired of Negan. I'm leaning the other way... I am absolutely sick and tired of Maggie. They made her into some type of badass who is now beating the ever-living shit out of EVERYONE around her without so much as a scratch and I'm over it.
I agree on the Maggie part, I think I did say something about her negatively at some point. For Negan, I just think his story was dragged out way too long.
I really recommend fear solely because of the Morgan storyline, also Dwight and his wife. There’s good stuff for sure. Of all the spinoffs it’s the best imo
Strand would make a good dead rising protagonist. His ability to be charismatic despite the darkness of his situation reminds me of frank from the first game
I understand how exhausting it can be cuz you have to do more work than me in your videos but can't wait another month for the next one it's what I got to look for❤
It shouldn't be a month as I'm full time with it now, but this will be a long video, season 10 and 11 have more episodes. All I can say is I'm working hard to get it done.
5:52 They actually cover more of Daryl's character, His goals, his delimas of being in frace, his past and his biological family aswell as his found family that he found along the way. This is kinda why you can't base it of the first episode, because the whole show explores parts of the Universe and parts of Daryl we have never seen before. Especially with Walkers... 👀
Quick little comment. The variant walker we see at the end of world beyond, is a variant that Daryl has to fight at the end of his spinoff, and he fights multiple of them.
I'm sure someone has told you, but just in case. About the Statue of Liberty, the original and most famous is the one located on Liberty Island, a gift from the French to America. The second is located in Paris, France, and was a reciprocal gift from the United States in 1889.
Totally watch ftwd atleast until the end of s3 to me s3 had the best story and it kinda wraps up the clarke family storyline. Its not perfect by all means but compared to the back half of twd the first 3 seasons of fear are amazing. There are also some of the best characters introduced in s3.
There was originally going to be a plan for that essentially in an episode where you saw the fall of Atlanta, centred around the Walker in the tank Rick hides in in s1. The start of FTWD and a bit of Daryl Dixon shows the early days too it’s pretty decent
i do realize im quite late for this video because i have just watched the season 10 and 11 video. I personally am a walking dead superfan, ive watched every spin off avaviable to me and ive read the comics. I do recomend you at least watch season 3 of Fear the walking dead, after that the director changed and the show went to shit for 3 seasons, though the characters they introduce are mostly fantastic. The show eventually picks up the pace quality wise in season 6, though it slows down towards season 7. As im writing this comment season 8 hasnt finished yet, but the first part is great so far.
I'm on sure if you ever watched This Ones who lived or world beyond, but if you did, and enjoyed either of them. I would highly recommend the other. They tie in, in alot of really tiny ways that lead up to a huge way. 10/10 would recommend
The problem with the walking dead cinematic universe is that realistically you can only do so much with shambler zombies before it gets boring and repetitive that’s why other franchises add zombie variants to keep things fresh. Also the whole “it’s not about the zombies it’s about how humans act” is something that’s been overdone as well

Nope I thought fear was way better than The walking Dead original so. Just because a lot of people like something doesn't mean it's great.
@@Angelface11 Fear Season 1 hilariously stupid. 2 was erratic. 3 was a materpiece. 4+ is a dumpster fire at the feces factory
Trust me, Daryl Dixon ABSOLUTELY deserves the hype. I strongly recommend that first season, it's some of the best content we've had in years...
Daryl's Character really gets some layers in this show, it's the most expressive I've ever seen him.
also that World Beyond scene you showed... was a TEASER for the Daryl Show, they have those same running walkers.
wholeheartedly agree!
@@Howesenbergwatch the daryl show
AMC really went the MCU route
i don't see how, since fans like Daryl and Dead City.
AMC makes good shows, MCU doesn’t
MCU are hardly the first to make spin offs.
@@emptyingmyballsinyomommymouththink they just meant amc is milking twd dry the same way Disney has been doing with the mcu
@@emptyingmyballsinyomommymouth because there is nothing to spin off, not a single comic has a connected story which is why i began to dislike them.
Daryl dixon is the best spinoff, it also explores the very problem you have with his character and is about him discovering what he wants. Also the action and character drama are much better than any of the other spin offs
Terrible in my opinion. I tried to force myself to watch it when I was bored and couldn’t make it passed episode 2
I appreciate the support as always raptor!
@@Howesenberg🫡
Fears first season is so damn good. I loved that scene where they're on the water and watching the city get bombed. It was like an expanded scene of the cold open of one of the episodes in season 2 TWD. the rest was forgettable, I got through to like season 4 or 5 because people said it got really good, but I have no idea what crack they were smoking because the writing took a nose dive and somehow got worse as it went on. Travis' death was one of the stupidest and most underwhelming things I've ever seen.
actors wanted out of further series making hence the abrupt deaths
When the son died in such a pathetic way I just stopped watching it. Don’t even think I finished the episode

@@mixxavelly9189 season 2 isn’t out yet my friend
I'm definitely sticking around for The Ones Who Live. I mean it's Rick. OF COURSE imma invest all my time in it.
I was hoping it would be better than Daryl but it was possibly worse. What a let done after all the years of being promised a Rick Grimes movie
@@Spooky_515 morgan has a date wit rick
I'm covering Ones Who Live in my next video

I just know I'm gonna end up covering this show and I'm kinda dreading it
I’m glad you recognize Strand and Daniel are the best characters in Fear, even better than many characters in TWD. I definitely would like to see you cover fear. It’s definitely the biggest and most important twd spin-off so you don’t have to cover the other spin-offs.
The thing is they do stay consistent, which is wild compared to everyone else, so needless to say Strand is my favorite character.
Strand is a horrible character

Honestly, Dead City and Daryl were really good.
Dead City was ok. I just couldn't be bothered for Daryl, I did watch the first episode though and I like the ones who live.
The best part about fear the walking dead is when Madison who acts like a plank of wood “dies”

i personally think you should stop covering the walking dead for a while after the main series so you can cover some other stuff
That is the plan. I don't think I can stomach much more anyway lol This video was more to find out what people would be interested in IF I was to return to the universe.
EDIT: Pinning your comment because I want people to see this is my main goal for talking about the spin offs
Dead city and daryl dixon are good. Fear has its ups and down but I love them all regardless how good or bad it is. Im a true walking dead fan
@Howesenberg I've just come from your Planet Of The Apes review video, I think you should do more like that
I think he’s doing pretty good on TWD content
Doubt it@@mixxavelly9189
I think you'll find the character aspects you want in the Daryl show if you keep watching. The story does develop more than just Daryl grunting and protecting!
Also the WB Jenner scene is literally the post-credit scene of the entire show and has literally nothing to do with the rest of it. So I wouldn't say it is a good indicator of the quality of WB.
Also also Dead City spoiler alert:
The "variants" in Dead City are not real variants.
Fear is the best just only watch season 1-3
AH YES, a zombie world with an overprotective dad that has a dark side to him😊 *cough* *cough* Joel from the last of us- *cough* *cough*
I haven't watched Ftwd but what I've heard is it starts out pretty good but slowly becomes a terrible show thats hard to watch but i haven't watched so i dont know
Honestly it’s kind of the other way around but the first couple seasons are pretty good
I've heard 1-3 is good, 3 being the best, then it completely falls off a cliff with a change in showrunner, huge time jump and forced introduction of Morgan from The Walking Dead
Seasons 1-3 are really good then season 4 and 5 aren’t that good but it get’s better again at the start of season 6
I’d rank the spin-offs like this:
1. FTWD S1-S3
2. Daryl Dixon
3. Dead City
4. Tales
5. FTWD S4-S8
6. World Beyond
I think this is pretty much spot on
I loved Nick. He was honestly my favourite walking dead character
Ftwd does cover nuclear weapons which is an aspect that I haven't seen any other apocalypse media cover.
That was cool yeah! Annoyingly the build up and the whole Teddy stuff was dull
the problem is the whole revolving around it sucks
Like Negan said to Olivia in Alexandria...
Doooon't care, where's Rick?

@@Howesenberg Its up to you dude but you should know that we would be okay with an sketchy raid shadow legends sponsor once in a while.
I'm glad i ain't the only one who believes a zombie show should be a zombie show, not what people a doing in the apocalypse.
I don't mind it being both, but often shows / films shift away from the zombies because they run out of ideas on how to keep them being scary
So you want to watch a zombie perspective that would get borimg hearing grunting all episode every episode as they sit around or wonder aimlessly for there next meal 😆
You are right, I got hooked because of the chaos about the walkers once it stops feels like the series is drifting away
love the approach to sponsored segments
I'm thinking of changing the rules by me being the one who seeks out sponsorships rather than the other way around, sponsorships should always be genuine
The zombies were never the main focus in the Walking Dead. It's always been the people. It was stated awhile back.
Here is your convincing
1: everyone wants it
2: you make money
3: you have content
Boom
The one with Maggie was just ok. It was a nice relaxing watch but nothing too exciting.
The Daryl Dixon one brought me back to the level of excitement I didn't feel for this series in years
How in the BLOODY HELL did Daryl not get infected by that burning zombie (plot armor)
Nobody does, just cause a zombie burns you doesn’t mean that it will infect you
While I agree that in shows like this main characters have insane plot armor I don’t see how getting burned by a walker should kill you
Did you forget they all carry the virus?
Fear the Walking Dead seasons 1-3 are so fucking good but then they absoloutley shit on it with season 4 onwards
Fear is an amazing show in my opinion season 3 I’m pretty sure will fully convince you to make a series on it honestly it’s in my top 5 shows of all time I love it
To be fair, the "variant" walker in Dead City isnt a Variant, but the result of a mad scientist experiment essentially
Thats incorrect. The one in the sewer is just a bunch of zombies that have joined together over time. No experiment.

What a ridiculous idea, I'm petitioning for Breaking Bad 2
Fear the walking dead is the most infuriating show ever. First 3 seasons are incredible, then they butchered the show needless and so hard it never recovered

I am curently in season 4 of FTWD and its great so far. Didnt see dead city, daryl or world beyond, but I have to change that.

I really liked the first few seasons of Fear, the whole Mexico setting…. But then it became really boring when there were barley any walkers.
Daryl is probably just asexual or has some trauma which means he doesn't want a romantic relationship
Daryl Dixon spin off has actually been surprisingly good
Strand would make a good dead rising protagonist.
American here. Where the comic and show starts. The ones who live is great. Highly recommend
As it happens I'm making a video on TOWL right now
5:52 They actually cover more of Daryl's character, His goals, his delimas of being in frace, his past and his biological family aswell as his found family that he found along the way.
The Daryl Dixon slander is crazy. Only 4 episodes out and it’s already peak.
Did you hear the part where I said 'perhaps I'm being a bit harsh as it's only the first episode'?
Loved the Linkin Park reference!
Tales of the walking dead was actually quite refreshing, I enjoyed it a lot
Totally watch ftwd atleast until the end of s3 to me s3 had the best story and it kinda wraps up the clarke family storyline. Its not perfect by all means but compared to the back half of twd the first 3 seasons of fear are amazing. There are also some of the best characters introduced in s3.
They should do a show called outbreak day. Follows a different person or group during the initial outbreak every episode
10/10 would recommend
terry crews and tyler james should be related in the WD universe
But everybody ate Chris
The problem with the walking dead cinematic universe is that realistically you can only do so much with shambler zombies before it gets boring and repetitive that’s why other franchises add zombie variants to keep things fresh. Also the whole “it’s not about the zombies it’s about how humans act” is something that’s been overdone as well
