All of this would have been fine, I would have adjusted or come up with solutions... I have a narcissist ex who unfortunately resembles Ed (I don't know what I was thinking, definitely the most unattractive man I've ever dated) and he also was a failure in bed. Also had to catch his breath, couldn't keep it up, and only knew how to jack-rabbit. Worst sexual experience I've ever had. All of this would have been fine, I would have adjusted or come up with solutions... BUT he was a narcissist, so communication did not exist and he made up for his insecurities and lack of ability by boasting about things he could never do and attacking ME. I actually became asexual for a couple of years after him because of the trauma from his abuse but mostly it was simply such a turn off and the worst sexual experience I've ever had that I couldn't even think about intimacy after him. So gross.
Kelly is an NYC POLICE OFFICER for this man to cry like that, it's real and comes from a very vulnerable place he is trained to suppress. That should show how much he's hurt. Molly doesn't seem interested in him AT ALL, and is trying to show him in such a terrible light when she only liked him for his "power" in the first place. He needs time to figure out where he's gonna go in life after he ended a CAREER (not just a job) and lifestyle. She rubs me the wrong way so bad.

Molly says Kelly doesn't respect her as a mother and a business owner. Well, if he doesn't, I understand. I don't. I hate to say it because I liked her and her quirky openness. But looking back, her chaotic love life seemed more important to her than making the best decisions for her daughter. Now her kid is an angry adult with a real mean streak. Kelly and Cynthia seemed like great people who loved Molly. Molly is siding with her kid against two good people and tanking her life because she knows she wasn't a great mom and she still doesn't know how to be one.
Right. Its also the whole pride thing a lot of parents fall victim to. They do not want admit they fucked up royally in some aspect and or the kids just got a bad disposition (seems like Olivia got hers from Molly js) cause it hurts their pride. It means they failed their kids and themselves. They do not want to “lose” in a sense. Its why they overdo it with their kids and so many kids especially now turn out to be embittered adults. Because they were groomed as if show dogs by their parents to really help themselves not their kids. Be it to move up the socio economic ladder or vehementally protect their and their familys status. Problem is Molly will not realize that kinda stuff until its too late imo.
My girlfriend and I are examples of this kinda. We are working on ourselves but passions we had when we were younger got soured because our parents overdid it on the encouragement. But its never too late to reclaim your destiny and be your own person not their prodigal child.

There’s no evidence that Molly has “sided with her kid.” She had a falling out with Cynthia which hasn’t been explained or addressed. With regards to Olivia she publicly called out her mother for her chaotic upbringing and her neglect of her younger sister. She insinuated that after the altercation with Kelly Molly took his side. This seems to be unrelated and someone that knows Molly irl stated she had just moved on to another relationship which is the real reason her and Kelly are falling apart. She is estranged from Olivia as far as both of them have clarified.

About Ed, I never stopped to think about this, but I think that him getting out of breath while "experiencing" has everything to do with his physique. I don't mean this is a derogatory way, but can you imagine "experiencing" without having a neck? You can tell that this a super sensitive subject for him, look at this face. And he doesn't fully acknowledge it either, with the whole susgery thing? The way he masks his own insecurities by making his partner insecure and the whole body shaming thing makes even more sense now. Anyway, that was my perception.
