The calibrated mod was not used for testing here. I was not lucky enough to get ahold of the plan or mod. Based on tests from the past this has never sent 50c weapons over the edge but it is something to keep in mind!
One thing to note also, if you’re able to get your hands on it. The calibrated mod also gives +5% hip fire accuracy, so gimbal bracer Vulcan arms combined with this cuts back recoil and increases accuracy a lot. Really helpful for non-vats users against the snake.

@@Abdou59800 50c is more consistent because of server lag 25ffr can be inconsistent. so while you will do higher dps with the 25ffr, you may run into issues with server registering your dmg. SO if you care about that sort of stuff 50c is pretty good as well.
Your math and testing is correct, everyone insisting aristocrats overs anti armour are morons, the only place aristocrats beats AA is against weak mobs and people wanting to run westek but no one cares about those, these videos should be focused for boss encounters only. Also the AA cap is 95% but AA Is calculated multiplicatively NOT additively
there is a large capacity mod too, which ups the clip size to 750 (despite the card saying its 1000) EDIT: just got the calibrated mod plan: ups hipfire accuracy and crit damage
Very interesting that on the snake non-PA vs PA values are significantly different with the same weapons! Given that the only difference here is stabilised (and I read somewhere that the snake has no armor??) so it shouldnt make a difference... unless your PA also has 5 ranger mods?
That could make stabilized useless potentially if the eye has no armor. Yea you could use any setup as along as you are shooting the eye in or out of power armor. IF there is no armor to penetrate.

Same I’m not a fan of PA never have been lol. But as far as the eye goes it def has very little if any armor. I did not test stabilizer vs no stabilizer in the eye but it def has armor on the head 😅
I used godmode in a world server so the build is not quite there! other youtubers have made great builds for heavy guns tho! check out Glass Gaming or Angry Turtle. They both made heavy gunner builds recently.
Putting out a video today that will include explosive and aristocrats! Got the final mod I needed so i will be concluding all GP testing with another quick 2-3min video Explosive has always a been horrible for boss fights but really good at everything else. So I will see if that applies to the same snake or not since it’s weak spot is the eyes and not the head
This can be true. I haven’t experienced it much myself but I have heard others mention this. I mained a Q2525 rail for a long time and never had issues personally.
25 frr and accelerated nozzle increase the fr up to 136 which means lag and dps lost due ap consumtion and laggy bethesda servers. Better use calibrated capacitor if you are gonna use it in VATS
@@terrack sorry I made a mistake. you can have calibrated capacitor and accelerated nozzle in the same GP, but instead of using 25 ffr in the second star, you can use 50c for VATS or 25% limb damage for non vats, both with pinpointers for the max dps
lots of poison resist from natural resist perk, funky duds legendary perk, aegis legendary effect, and union power armor bonus. I used god mode on a world server so that is why I was not taking dmg.
Yea you can make it work. The bloodied one would probably be better at that point with all mods and buffs active. That’s my assumption though. I used an AA on at low health with 4 buffs active and it still out performed bloodied. I did not have the calibrated capacitor though so that could change things.
But with my AA/25/25 i do more base damage hitting the head more than the eyes? Why is this? And as full health i can not hit over 1058 in crit! Maybe because im carnivore?
I'll tell you, basically just really laggy servers. Done this with raid boss and my ap bar just gets glitched out. I have no vats cards and don't use coffee.
Aristocrats is another good option, I just don’t know many players who actually end up using it over something like anti armor for most full health builds.

I like gat plas ae90rw with ffr perfect. When we can run bear arms and damage cards aren't needed, i will add less vats for crit build. I dont find the crit receiver much use. I prefer to use prime. I have a stock pile 😅 n8ce video
Get the drill fist recipe from the raid and mass produce it with super duper for 2 cores a pop to get a chance to learn anti-armor, crippeling, weapon strength bonus and combo breaker. It took me a good few tries of scrapping, but managed to get both strength and anti-armor so far. Just save your cores and mass produce them whenever you have a few and try for the recipe.
The gatling plasma is better now with the new mods. Those mods are annoying to get tho. You may be able to find someone selling fully modded non legendary rolls.
@dadshirt6681 for a new player I would recommend you use the gatling plasma for it's ammo economy. You'll be using lots of resources to create the ammo for the gauss mini than the gatling plasma. But do whatever is more enjoyable for yourself.
I gave Anti armor a test today, it didn’t yield higher DPS for me when compared to bloodied. I wonder if that’s because in vats targeting the eyes that crit spot has lesser armor values.
This is correct Bloodied does the most damage. With second being aristocrats. However I still believe AA2525 is the best roll for a majority of the community. I don't see a lot of players wanting to use low health builds i the raid even tho they are viable, but if you are able to make it work bloodied is 100% worth it.
Super useful vids, you got a sub from me. I'd love to see a comparison of gatling plasma with other weapons in the raid context. I know gatling plasma is the king but I just don't really care for the weapon. The long wind up time & the ultracite plasma cores make it painful to use. Gauss Minigun is painful too due to the ammo usage. If there is another weapon that could get within 20-30% of the damage of those, I'd love to know what alternatives like that may exist.
Would aristocrats be an effective mod? If you’re going full health in raids.then bloodied is a dead perk effect. While AA is an option. If you run stabilized and use the stinging core, wouldn’t AA have diminishing returns? I believe there is a cap (70% I think) on armor penetration. So using AA with already 65% armor piercing would not be optimal. Aristocrats Gives a flat 50% damage boost regardless of health state, as long as you have like 30k caps. Now if you have a perfect setup armor wise and can run bloodied without worrying about losing too much life during the raids. Bloodied might work then.
If you stay above 29K in caps, which isn’t very hard to do with this new raid content…. Anyway, if you stay above 29K aristocrats in my testing aristocrats is unbeatable pretty much on any weapon that doesn’t need quad ….in any situation. And, it’s fabulous on armor as your first star perk as well….far better than overeaters….. The hard part is staying above 29K in caps, but like I said, lately, I am literally swimming in caps and have to stop and force myself to go buy stuff…. Just to bring my max cap limit down.

I have seen arguments back-and-forth from people, but I have rarely seen anybody actuallypublish numbers. And the second thing is anti anti-armor has been a long time stable …. But in my personal experience….. if you have the caps and that’s the important part of this….you have to stay above 29,000 caps to get the full value…. Aristocrats out damages, anti armor, in almost every case. Perhaps you should test it . Oh, and by the way, if you stay above that 29,000 K caps all the time (and the way, I am swimming in caps lately because of the raid it is just not a problem)…. Anyway, if you stay above that 29k point…. Aristocrats is also an absolutely fantastic one star perk for any armor set.
I made part two of this, which includes aristocrats and explosives. I agree that arist may put out more damage in some cases instances, it just wouldn't be enough of an increase to justify not spending ~30k of my caps in my opinion.

Don't ever use bloodie in the raid you die in 1 hit and it's awaste of time aa is number 1 on dps no matter what if your bloodie toue kick no quest ask I have yet to see any actual not cheater bloodie go a whole fight with out getting 1 shot 90% the time they are dead or hiding away 90% of the time until they can dps dont ever use a bloodie it is dog shit and worse build in the game
Yeah I can survive the raid including the snake fight without funky duds or union armor as a bloodied build. Only time I get 1 shot is doing the runs for fuel.

It’s better for your overall damage. Especially if you go with 50crit as your second star. It’s 100% the better choice

For power armor? Overeaters, Ap regen, Arms keeper. Four star reflective or aegis. Funky duds and natural resistance cards

Energy bobbles don't work on GP, Heavy G. bobbles do.
With conductors existing now just do b2525 conductors or aa2525 conductors and you get constant healing, there’s essentially no need for vamps now 🎉🎉

The eyes on last boss and the chest on the robot are the only dmg tips I can think of!

AA does funny things and in some cases like on Earle gives even high dmg past 100% penetration.

Ran the whole raid bloodied. Killed 1st boss in 20 seconds. Killed snek in 18 seconds. Bloodied.
YOU die in one hit. It's different for others
